My wife and I took a long weekend at Lake Tahoe and found this place. We wanted a place right on the water and this fit the bill without spending a ton. The place is on the upper patio overlooking the water. There's a table with umbrella on the patio that makes a lovely place to have meals. You're right above the boat rentals so and can be a little noisy a in the morning and late afternoon. The place itself is nothing too special. It was clean and mostly comfortable and made for a nice base for visiting. There is a small beach just a 5 mins walk away where you can rent kayaks.
A couple things to note. First, the bathroom has been nicely updated but there is no longer a jetted tub. The kitchen needs a refresh next, even just replacing the fridge which is old and loud would be a nice improvement. Also, the burners on the stove are not level. I’m nitpicking here but wanted to be honest. Will consider here if we visit again.

Location on the north side of the lake was beautiful and much quieter than other places on different parts of the lake that we saw. Beautiful views from the kitchen and living room as well as sitting outside on the deck. The full bath was recently renovated but the rest of the place was beyond dated. The kitchen appliances had to be 40 years old and the carpet throughout (including the half bath) was so old and dingy.
Overall we go for location and the views and location were great, but hopefully the owners will be renovating the entire unit soon, as it is so far overdue.

I needed a place to stay while on a business trip. I called Tahoe Vista desperately trying to find a place before dark. Sherri helped me coordinate the rental and was so patient and accommodating. When I arrived I was completely blown away with the place. It was absolutely perfect. The views were breathtakingly beautiful and the cottage was so clean and warm. Falling asleep and waking up to the Tahoe waves hitting the beach below made my entire trip worthwhile. I cannot wait to stay at Tahoe Vista again!

We have been coming here for over 25 years and still love it! Our unit has some of the best views of the lake you could ever wish for! Can sit on the deck and enjoy the lake or even sit in the living room and enjoy it! Very clean and cozy! Bed is super comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen! Close to Kings Beach area, stores, beaches and hiking trails! Couldn’t be more happy with the vacation rental company! Very quick with responses and so very kind and friendly! HIGHLY recommend Tahoe Vista Inn & Suites for your Lake Tahoe stay. My one suggestion is some upgrades to the unit would make it sparkle even more.

We had a wonderful vacation. My husband turned 60 on the Fourth of July. We rode the hot air balloon and river rafted for the first time ever. We kayaked with clearly Tahoe and hiked to Eagle Falls at Emerald Bay. My husband siblings visited for his birthday and stayed at a nearby condo, Tahoe Vista Inn had gorgeous lakefront views, great areas to visit with family, nice kitchen, and a comfortable king bed. Our only disappointment was that no fireworks were done at Kings Beach this year, though it was so clear we could see the distant South Tahoe display. We would love to return again.

The views are amazing & can be seen from inside kitchen & living /dining rooms too along with on your outside dining table or lounge chairs. The only issue is there is no air-conditioning & with only 2 little windows in the front of the place where the kitchen, dining & living rooms are and 2 windows in the bedroom there is no air circulating & it was hot. They do provide 2 fans but they did not really help also did not help that it was much hotter than norma when we were herel. And the boat rentals are right in front of the unit which can be a bit loud at times. The interior could use a bit of a facelift old furniture in the living room. Overall I would rent again can't beat the views!

I will call this the Time Warp Chalet. Stunning view and great location. Other than that this place has not been updated since the 1980s. Original appliances and wall coverings. A large jacuzzi bathtub with an after the fact added shower which goes between freezing and scalding water after it takes 5 minutes to heat up. We know this is probably a cash cow, but a refresh is needed. The stunning views make up for most of my rating.

This unit had a great view and I would recommended it to anyone. We spent hours on the deck just watching the boats, etc. go by. Also loved that we could just wonder down to the restaurant at any time and have a cocktail on the dock. The unit is very comfortable and spacious but somewhat dated. My only complaint is that there is a very bright light outside the bedroom window which made the room too light for my liking. And bring a hair dryer if you need one because there isn't one in the unit.

The flat is a bit dated, but very clean, and Sherrie was charming and helpful. The view depicted is accurate, but it is essentially a walkway surrounding the condo so that people were passing by often. That made it not very private at all. If I were renting with a large group and we took all of the units, I might've preferred that better. Also-LOTS of children running around. All in all I prefer a little more upscale and private accommodations. Lovely location though.

My husband and I booked this vacation with the hopes to relax and enjoy time off before our baby comes. This was the perfect place to do just that. We upgraded to room 104 and boy are we glad we did. AMAZING view of the lake and the accommodations were wonderful (kitchen, washer/dryer, huge hot tub, comfortable bed, etc.). We loved how small the rental building was because it helped us feel secluded.

This was a wonderful place to stay. We had unit #4, which was upstairs overlooking the lake out of a full width window. The amenities were great and the ladies who managed the facility were wonderful to us and extremely understanding of our celebration. If there was anything that bothered us at all it was the fact that to shower one had to step down to enter the hot tub, which, for older or less agile people, would be difficult. The king size bed was very comfortable, the kitchen was full service and well appointed. The Inn is in a relatively quiet area of the North Shore being located between Kings Beach and Carnelian Bay. Would definitely go there again.

We traveld to Lake Tahoe in early June a few weeks shy of the busy influx of summer travelers. We really enjoyed our stay at Tahoe Vista Inn. The views from our unit and deck area were stunning. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant. Within walking distance from the inn we could rent kayaks and paddle boards. Also within walking distance we found two outstanding restaurants. Capt. Jon's the onsite restaurant was in the process of being remodeled so we will have to go back at some point in the future to check it out. When open it will offer tables right on the beautiful deck area overlooking the lake under marine blue canopy's. We would highly recommend Tahoe Vista Inn.
