There was filtered water from the kitchen sink. A nice bottle of wine with snacks waiting for us. Lovely outdoor shaded area. Walking distance to really nice places to eat. Just right for us

This homely and welcoming casita is perfect for a visit to Albuquerque's Nob Hill district. It is cosy and comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated, and the hosts Peter and Terri are very responsive. It has an enclosed garden space for sitting outside and secure off-street parking, and is in walking distance of shops, restaurants and Central. This is our second visit and we would recommend it highly.

Convenient and quiet neighborhood close to places to eat and easy access to public transportation. Off-street parking is added bonus. Thoughtfully furnished.

We loved our stay at the Nob Hill Casita. We found the place to be very clean, super adorable (the photos are totally accurate yet they somehow don’t convey all the charm this place has), and very conveniently located. We felt very safe and secure in this spot. The casita has everything you’ll need and a few extras. The owners were there if you needed them (they live next door) but they didn’t hover or bother. Check in was great. Thank you for hosting us, Peter!

3 out of 4 ladies developed fever with Covid positive the morning of our departure therefore, no trip. i was in communication with ll & this is what he said: Deniece, I hope recovery goes well for all. Rest, fluids, isolation, masks, ... I suspect everyone knows the drill by now. It occurs to me that it might be impossible to cancel at this late date. If you call VRBO and refer them to your inbox, this note will confirm that I am open to letting another party book and if they do, to refund whatever portion of your planned stay is used by another guest. I don't know if their systems are sophisticated to accommodate that, but if they can, then I can as well. Please advise if there is any refund due. I had asked per the Vrbo website for a reschedule but not able to do so. Thanks I will await your reply

I should think that there is no better compliment than to stay at a property more than once....that in itself should be implying an excellent review!! Walking into the casita, again, was like opening the door to home....everything familiar, the same comfortableness, a few noticable new touches, an immediate sense of peace...sigh....! And the cheese, crackers, and wine, are such a lovely touch awaiting you after of day of travel!! This really is the perfect little spot to access all the little restaurants, pubs, shops on Route 66! Getting to and from the airport is a piece of cake!! And when you come back to the casita, from your exploring for the day, the secluded little patio is the absolute perfect place to relax!! The hosts are kind and friendly and leave you to yourselves, but are quick to respond to any questions! We look forward to returning again!!

Everything was wonderful. The hosts greeted us and showed us how everything worked and gave us some tips on what to do. We were in town for the annual Balloon Festival. The home was clean and cozy! It was close to everything!

The casita is in a great location and you can walk to places close by and it has everything you could possible think of. The interior is very cozy. We’ll be back in the future.

We really loved staying at this property. We had an easy check in. The thorough and informative house manual and quick communication with the gracious hosts were helpful in solving any questions or issues during our stay. The casita has so many personal touches and thoughtful amenities that it really feels homey and cozy. If it was cool in the evenings and mornings, we sparked up with little gas fireplace and during a lovely, warm afternoon, we sat outside on the porch furniture with the sweet yard area and birdsong. Even though this house is right in the heart of Nob Hill, it feels more secluded and private, with the great advantage of being within walking distance to so many great restaurants and easy driving to wherever you need to go, parking included! We will definitely be going back next time we head to Albuquerque!

The Casita is a cosy adobe home in the Nob Hill neighborhood with an authentic Southwestern flavor and everything you could want. It is attractively furnished and comfortable inside and it has an enclosed patio and garden for outdoor meals and relaxation. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, the neighborhood is quiet at night, and there is a pleasant small park nearby. The hosts, Peter and Terri, could not be more helpful and welcoming. All in all, a delightful two-week stay. We much look forward to coming back on a future visit to Albuquerque.

This casita was cozy, well-appointed, and in a great location for walking, entertainment, and restaurants. It was quiet and restful for relaxation.

The casita was perfect for our 9 day stay! 2bedrooms/1ba, perfect New Mexican decor. Shower and kitchen accessories made everything quite easy. The house is located within walking access to a park, shopping and restaurants, and less than 10 min to the airport. The owner was communicative and nice. He waited for us, even though ou flight was late. We highly recommend this little house.

Terri and Peter’s casita is truly a home away from home. The casita is situated in a community ideal for exploring and in the very private and secure back yard of the attentive owners and hosts. The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals or simple coffee. The bedrooms are comfy and the home is well appointed. The hosts are incredibly kind and inviting, accessible while still affording privacy—wonderful. We greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return another season!

Great home & location!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this sweet little casita! The neighborhood is so very quiet. You are steps away from Route 66 and all the little shops and restaurants that has to offer. The casita is clean and charming and we loved it's history. What makes this place is fabulous is the amazing patio/courtyard! We sat out there every moment we could, enjoying morning coffee or evening toddies and listening to the birds and the leaves rustle on the trees. The owners have done a fantastic job of enclosing the yard area so you feel like you are all alone in your perfect little spot! The detail of the landscaping adds to the feel that "this is a very special little place indeed!" Peter was easy to work with and answered any questions immediately....even when we were there, being his "neighbors"! He kept in touch on our day of travel to make sure he was around when we arrived in case we had any trouble getting into the casita....which we did not. AND the cheese, crackers, and bottle of wine were a very nice "welcome gift" after a long day of travel!!! Thank you, Peter, for everything! Especially sharing for sharing your casita muy bonita with the rest of us!!

It was perfect for our quick little weekend getaway. The place was clean and the hosts were welcoming and kind. We wished we could have stayed longer to take the bikes out and enjoyed more of the city. Thank you for a memorable weekend!

Our stay exceeded expectations with gracious and helpful hosts who went above and beyond with their hospitality. We appreciated the quiet neighborhood that is close to good restaurants and attractions. The casita is charming and well appointed.

This place is not one of those rentals that feels like a rental. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into making it feel homey and comfortable for their guests. We felt like guests rather than tenants. Plus it is right around the corner from great restaurants and very central to everything in Albuquerque. The little yard was a perfect place to relax on the patio and we enjoyed peaches from the tree!

We cooked together in the well equipped kitchen, had breakfast on the secluded shaded patio, and were charmed by the décor and by the adobe construction. Peter and Terri, the owners, were friendly and helpful when we had questions about the area. The bathroom is large with excellent plumbing. The bed in the master bedroom was incredibly comfortable.We had a remote control to open the gates to the private parking next to our casita and a motion activated security light. We always felt very safe here.

Only complaints were that it was very dusty under the queen bed and that we were there in very cold weather and it was hard to heat the Casita. Fortunately the gas fireplace in the living room made it all possible. We had a wonderful time and will likely book again.
