My childhood friend and I met in Chincoteague for some much needed girl time. We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time!

This home never disappoints!! It’s beautiful and relaxing inside with everything we could need, the location is perfect (easy access to restaurants, riding our bikes to the beach, etc) and the owners are always so communicative and helpful!

The place was welcoming and clean. All the amenities were there. The Porch was used everyday.

Absolutely love to rental it was in a great location love look over the Martian watching the wildlife the sunrise in the morning. The rental was clean and beautiful everything was there we needed easy for us to get to and close to our family we will be renting this home again next year

Really enjoyed our stay, we enjoyed a wild horse excursion with Captain Mark, who was very informative about some history, beach, food trucks and restaurants, mini golf..of course we also checked out NASA which was very interesting. small island with Big surprises!! Loved it and would visit again!!

This was a great price for the rental and we liked the area. To me, it was not clear that we would pay extra for linens when I booked, but I did get an email ahead of time explaining this. We chose to bring our own to avoid the extra fee. The road going to the road was in very poor condition, big potholes all over that were hard to avoid. Great marsh view!

Very clean, tastefully decorated, and fully equipped place to stay! We loved the location right beside the marsh.

The location and house was very nice, looking forward to staying again. The ONLY negative thing I feel needs to be mentioned is the access to the property, the road is extremely littered with large pot holes, so if you plan to stay, make sure your vehicle has decent ground clearance for navigating the private road.

Great stay on Chincoteague Island. Drank our morning coffee watching the ducks, geese, egrets and a red fox. Central to everything you would want to see on the Island. We had the opportunity to see the horses in the Assateague Park and also on the boat tour. Notched another lighthouse off our list as well. The house is as advertised and will look forward to spent some more time at this rental when we return to Chincoteague! Thanks!

Everything about the listing was accurate. We rented linens and they were clean and fit the beds. They provided soap, shampoo, and conditioner in the showers which was an unexpected and amazing touch! Only negative was that the road leading to the house was full of potholes so be careful in a lower car. Would definitely come back. It had a very cozy and relaxing vibe.

My 2 adult daughters and I had a wonderful time at this property. The house was impeccably clean, very comfy, beautifully decorated, and very well-equipped. The location is fantastic- great bird watching from the deck, and very close to both the town and the wildlife refuge. We would definitely stay at this house again!

This property had everything we were looking for, was clean, organized, and plenty of room. The owner communication was outstanding, with detailed information on our stay. There were no issues, and we will certainly be back!

This is our third time staying here. The property was very clean and well stocked as always. Lovely coastal decor. I love being able to sit on the porch overlooking the creek/marsh. It sits at the end of a quiet road and there is lots of wildlife to see: ducks, egrets, geese and deer. Easy check in and out.

This is our second stay in this charming 'cottage'. The view of Eel creek is great - the amenities are fabulous. All is clean and neat. We love to walk our dog down the road and visit the horses/ponies at the Pony Center. The location is also great for getting around Chincoteague, and Assateague.

We love Tranquil Shores. We are allowed to bring our dog and her and I spend every morning on the screen in porch watching Chincoteague come alive. We are provided with so many things that most places don't have and it is a wonderful get away.

This was our 4th time staying here. We have 3 young kids and it’s the perfect size for our family. The house has been renovated in the past two years and well Maintained as always. The hosts go above and beyond with accommodations and we have never been disappointed. We look forward to staying here again next year

This was our first trip to Chincoteague and this home did not disappoint. Beautiful views of the creek and a short drive to the beach. Kitchen was well stocked and equipped. Home was clean. Property owners are very thoughtful as they had provided lots of hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and even laundry detergent. Perfect home away from home for our visit.

The place is tastefully decorated and I felt comfortable staying there. It was easy to communicate with the owner and check in was very easy.

The home was nice and very well stocked. The owner said the cleaning crew missed and did not come by before our check in and we ended up cleaning the home. We couldn't hook up to the internet until the second day? The views were nice, watching birds landing in the marsh. The outside porch was wonderful! Screened in and with a nice picnic table and chairs. The owners supplied many amenities and made the visit very comfortable. Very nice washer and dryer:) Kitchette seating for 4. We would stay there again if we were sure it was cleaned prior to arrival. Loved another visit to Chincoteague!

The location is perfect- beautiful and quiet with porches overlooking calming scenes. WE loved it!!!

It was relaxing, quiet and the view was amazing. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed for cooking, eating and laundry. My only issue was the plug for the upstairs bathroom sink didn't work right for us and it would fill up. This was a FANTASTIC place to stay and I hope to again in the future.
