My husband and I stayed for four days in this immaculate and cozy house. The kitchen is truly loaded with everything you need (including coffee and tea pods!). The bedding is super comfortable and the towels fluffy and soft— that is not always the case in a rental. Being right in the water gave us amazing views and we really enjoyed just sitting on the back deck watching the water, boats, birds and sunsets. We had no issues with anything, but Jane is next door and I’m sure would have been very responsive. As a matter of fact, I commented on how great her tomatoes were growing, and she came over with some! It was a great experience all around.

It was wonderful with a beautiful lake view. It was sunny and breezy and the cozy deck was positively rejuvenating.

We stayed six weeks and enjoyed every day. The weather was nearly perfect, very pleasant. Many restaurants nearby serving Lake Erie perch (wipes favorite).

I've been eyeing this property for a couple of years but it was never available for the dates I wanted. I finally got smart and booked it 4 months in advance. The perseverance finally paid off. It's an older remodeled lake house and its limited square footage is utilized in such a way that it feels much larger than it actually is. It was pretty much everything my wife and I like about these smaller, older lake homes. Lake Erie is literally 30 feet away from the back deck with steps leading to terraced platforms going down to the water's edge. The house was clean and well-equipped for making meals. The view of the lake is absolutely magnificent. Jane the owner was warm and friendly and very accommodating. We will definitely book this place again.

The house is located on the most beautiful property. It was so clean and had everything we could possibly need.
The view from the living area was stunning and the deck was a perfect getaway.
The host was so kind and even brought in and put away our groceries from our Instacart order.
We look forward to staying again!

What you see is what you get! House was extremely clean, which is #1 on our expectations. Lake view was amazing! Everything you need and more was provided and plentiful! Location is easy to find and situated near our favorite restaurants and shopping in Vermillion. Beautiful neighborhood and easy to figure out the tv remotes (😉). Definitely worth the price. Thank you for a wonderful time!

Our family spent two days (in November) enjoying each others company and the lovely lake view. Ted provided prompt, clear information and the house was clean and suitably equipped. Nice spot on a very quiet street.

The neighborhood was very quiet. Sitting close to the lake was relaxing. The home was clean and was well supplied. Host was close if you need anything. We will definitely stay again.

It’s always a pleasant surprise to arrive at a rental and find it exceeds your expectations. The pictures of this place do not do it justice. Very convenient to Cedar Point, local restaurants and grocery shopping. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. House was very clean.

This was our 6th year to return to this Lake Erie rental. We love it for the sunrises, the endless boat watching, the peaceful surrondings, the location between Sandusky and Vermillion, and the quaint home. We sat outside from sunrise to sunset enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Erie. We even saw a freighter going in to Sandusky this year!

Accommodations were great for the two of us. Loved the house right on the water and amazing views of the lake right when you walked in to the house. The deck was great for our morning coffee and watching the boats. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. We plan to come back again on our next stay!

The house, although small, is immaculately clean and orderly and in a neighborhood of beautiful homes. Ted is a wonderful host and available if needed. We highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed for 2 weeks and our daughter joined us for part of the time. We all had a great time and very much enjoyed the cottage and the surrounding area. The weather was great most of the time and Lake Erie was crystal clear when the waves weren't pounding the shore. Incredible to see both versions right outside the back door! Loved staying here!

Have never been to Huron OH or seen Lake Erie! What a quaint township, beautiful lake, and enjoyable place to stay! The home was well equipped, quiet location, and very accommodating hosts. Nice restaurants around, enjoy a car ride to close by townships for specialty shops, easy walking, and enjoy a ferry ride to Put-In- Bay.

Perfect place to return after 50 years to Huron. Right on water with view of lighthouse and morning fishermen. Host had plenty of coffee available for deck morning leisure. Would return.

Perfect size for the two of us to enjoy the Lake views dawn to dusk— so much that we went out to favorite local spots only a couple times. The owners have anticipated all of the basics for a comfortable stay—even fresh tomatoes from their garden. Already looking forward to returning next year.

A great place in a great area! The best location in the nation! My wife had to leave early and I stayed on my own for a week but overall the property was very homey and the owners were very welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great getaway on the lake.

Quiet Lake Erie Spot
Quaint little home directly on Lake Erie. You can spend hours just enjoying the daily view of Lake Erie. The perfect spot to catch the sunrise. House is adequately equipped to fix all your meals for a weekly stay, or it is in the perfect location to go to either Vermillion or Sandusky to find some good options of restaurants. It is also a short drive to catch the ferry to Put-In-Bay, and highly recommend that for a daily excursion. Owners are next door and attentive to anything you may need or if you have any questions. We have been renting this home for 5 years and just love the daily view and peacefulness.

Great stay. House was very clean. Ted even kept the mayfly’s cleaned off the deck and sidewalk daily. Beautiful view of Lake Erie. Across from back yard down steps to lake where I fished off the sea wall. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend. If we are looking to stay at Lake Erie again we would definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd time staying here and loved it again but we had to cut our stay short for family medical reasons!! Beautiful view and really great owners!! Would recommend to everyone! Hope to go back next year!! Thank you for your hospitality
