Hotel was nice and the staff were great. Wonderful town to take a long walk. Only issue was a very loud elevator (we had a room next door to it). Would highly recommend.

We were placed into the first room in front, the lights outside were going crazy, our room was like being at a disco, even with the curtains being closed, we told the front desk in the morning, she didn't seem to care, nothing was done about it, so another night of disco lights.

This hotel is in a great location - within walking distance of the lighthouse and right by a couple restaurants/bars. The rate was very reasonable and the room was nice.

Instead of being able to stay at this hotel I got a phone call about the loss of a family member. I let the hotel and hotels.com know what was going on. I was hoping the manager would have compassion enough to refund me. I was made aware by others the manager of this hotel could have made the choice to refund me as other hotels have done when a major family emergency has happened. This place was firm on no cancellations within a certain time frame under any circumstances. Told I did not cancel within 48 hours instead! Is sad and to treat someone going through this loss with no compassion. Definitely not a place that cares back to those who give them business. Wish I could have given a good review had this been handled different.

This Comfort Inn is giving the franchise a bad name. Pool was really old and dirty, dead bugs in the hallway lights, poor lighting all around, noisy room near the side exit/entrance door, broken toilet seat, dirty shower, etc.

We enjoyed our little time in Huron! We loved the Harbor Grill right next door. Enjoyed the outside ambiance and walking down to the Pier! Service and food were amazing!

My wife and I stayed from Sunday 4 Aug. till Wen. 7 Aug. The staff was very helpfull when checking in & out. The room needs some up-grading. The sink faucet could be moved, room stayed damp the eniter time, inter net went down twice, and TV could not be turned off without losing signel. If your looking for a place to shower and sleep with a nice view, then would recomend.

It’s a little outdated and had a huge crack in the bathroom wall and sink and shower kept clogging. It wasn’t the greatest but wasn’t horrible either. Definitely not worth the $299 for one night.

We have been coming to this location for years. The town of Huron is a perfect small town. The hotel is located on the strip that has many dining options, a small beach, light house. Great views of cedar point in the distance. The hotel is clean. It is everything you want out of a place to stay. Beds are comfortable.

This was a good hotel with a nice view located in a cute town. The restaurant right next door was really good. The beds were comfortable and clean, although double beds are really small! The bathroom floor could have been cleaner and the breakfast area. Please remind servers that touching the door or counters and then the muffins, even with a glove on, is not sanitary. Otherwise, good selection of food. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.

My kids and I had a great time. The location was great, and beautiful. The staff was very polite and friendly.

The staff were pleasant and the facilities were generally in line with the star rating, with the exceptions of the smell of our rooms. One room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke and the other of feet and moisture.
The breakfast was adequate but busy. A second waffle maker would be a game changer.
The drive to Cedar Point was easy and pleasant.

We stay here once a year usually for a baseball tournament and enjoy it every year. Swimming pool and great fishing for the kids. Love walking around and the boardwalk and going to the lake. Usually multiple bands to listen to. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is great and time for it is great having it until 10 every morning. Love that check out is 11 so ur not rushing.

I was worried at first about this hotel when I booked it. I was extremely surprised by it when we arrived! The staff was amazing, friendly and professional, the room was immaculate, the pool perfect. I loved having the view of the water from my room. The convience of its location was a plus. Amazing restaurant attached, bowling lanes across the street and a boardwalk down the road. My kids absolutely loved it. Beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion I have is they should put restrooms in the pool area. It is only about 15-20 minutes from Cedar Point, 10 minutes from Sandusky Mall area. Very affordable for families. This will be our annual trip hotel. I can't wait to go back!
