Everything was wonderful. The friendly welcome, the staff, the view, the owners, the atmosphere, the housing, the facilities, the service, the food! Fair prices for Taxi service and motorbike renting. I'd love to come back, this was our best accommodation on our trip to the philippines. Thank you a lot for everything Meg and Richard!

Очень красивое место, самые лучшие закаты. Лучшая кухня которую пробовали на Филиппинах, еда с большими порциями и очень вкусная! Отличная шумоизоляция, не слышно улицы. Номера каждый день убирали, стирка была очень быстрая.

The hotel has a stunning view and is perfectly located near many attractions of the island. Room is very comfortable and perfectly equipped with all necessary. Breakfast and dinners have been delicious: Meg is a great chef! Richard was very helpful in providing all tips to visit the island and was, together with Meg, a wonderful host. We only spent two nights here but for sure we will be back and stay longer!

Niets. Wel goed opletten bij het op- en afrijden van het domein als je met de motor/ scooter komt. Maar de eigenaar heeft er al aan gewerkt door extra verharding aan te brengen.

Richard and Meg are such nice people; they welcommed us in the best way possible and brought us to the port without a doubt when we had to leave. The accomodation was above expectations (and they were high already). The rooms are gorgeous and contain everything you need for a pleasant stay. The main area is really nice and cozy if you want to get a drink or a bite (the food is amazing!!!!! Meg used to be a cook and makes the best meals we ate in Siquijor). The staff is really kind and they also have 2 sweet cats and a small puppy! Overall, amazing stay and amazing people!

Had an amazing stay. Richard and Meg were wonderful hosts, very kind people. Richard gave me some good tips of the island and where to go. Meg was the beat cook one could ever hope for. The best food ever! The bungalows sit in a beautiful pocket in the middle of the bush, restaurant has Meg’s perfect food and also a perfect view of the surrounding valley and beautiful sunsets. All the staff were nice, happy and kind, shout out to Jan and Mercy. Highly recommend this place, it is off the beaten track and you will need a motorbike to go around the island and to the various places and beaches, but that adds to the nice quiet and relaxing vibe you’ll get here! 10/10 Meg & Richard thanks for everything

They arranged pick up at the port, a motorbike, and helped us when needed. Meg is an excellent cook and th staff is extremely friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Maybe it's a bit remote, but for us, that wasn't a problem.

This little gem of a place is the best on the island! Meg and Richard run a pristine and intimate collection of cottages and a restaurant with a sunset view to die for. Meg's cooking is always exceptional, and the staff are a merry crew of island locals who are genuinely warm and welcoming. Will definitely be visiting again, and again. And again. :)

Beautiful quiet location, really lovely staff and fantastic food. The room we stayed was amazing and very clean. Meg is a trained chef so her food is excellent quality (we are vegetarian and we loved very single dish), the staff is very helpful and communicative. We really loved our stay here, and if we’re back in the future we will choose Hidden Valley again for sure.

We had the most amazing experience, in hidden valley. Since the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The owner is a really great person, helped us with everything, was so kind and good. The staff was very patient, smiling all the time, helpful. She definitely made us feel like we are In Our home. The rooms are spacious, the view is amazing, and the food is unforgettable. We were supposed to stay 5 nights and we extended for 10 days. We will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!!!!

The best place in Siquijor. Away from the crowds and with a beautiful view and brand new rooms with balconies. At an extremely good price.

The cottages are clean, fresh and new with breathtaking sunset views and beautiful landscape. Quiet split aircon is great, hot shower with good pressure. No scooters flying by, no trucks kicking up dust. Peaceful, calm and relaxing. I liked it so much I extended twice. My 7 days turned to 16 and I couldn't be happier. The small resto/bar run by Meg and Richard has the best food around. Meg has cooked around the world I think and you can tell by her mastery of spice and flavor. I actually ate my way through the menu and can highly recommend many dishes..curry, shrimp,vegetarian but my favorite the Club Sandwich! It's outrageous and delicious.. As for the owners and staff, they are the most friendly, caring hands on people you will ever find. From impromptu kareoke, to playing poker with Swiss cards it was a blast! Richard wrote down great places to visit, was interested in what I wanted to see and had fantastic suggestions. They made me feel like family and I will always return there anytime I'm in Siquijor. An A-1, don't miss spot!!

Hidden Valley is really a place to stay when visiting siquijor. The owners are really kind and friendly and the room was well equiped and with an amazing view. The homemade food was a real plus which make us feel like home. I strongly recommend this place ig you want to have a peaceful and welcoming stay in siquijor.

Hidden valley is well located to go to any places in the island. However, you will need to have a scooter with you if you want to be free to go wherever you want.

It was amazing without any doubt!!! The best hospitality we have seen so far in our travels and we spend a whole week in Richard and Mag place! Once we return, we will definitely return to this place! First we arrived at the island very hungry and tired, so the owners took us as their own kids and cooked for us in advance and took care about the logistics. They even brough a sing with our names on it which was really sweet! During the whole week we enjoyed very delicious food and service. We really were as if it was a professional restaurant. The service thanks to the whole family and Mercy was excellent! Richard had a lot of advice for us in terms of places to visit and just a general knowledge about Philippines. Sharing great stories about their life on the island. When in trouble the family took care of us as well providing all the needed support we needed and advising the best hospitals to go to. As for the place itself, the cottages are quite relaxing and comfortable. The only thing we were missing is a hairdryer but with our recommendation Richard is going to purchase them. The view is just stunning sometimes and it is around 30-40 minutes dring to very nice beaches. Be aware that the place is not a walking distance from the sea, so you would better get a scooter when you arrive at the port. Incredible place with so much caring people. Richard and Mag, we miss you so much already!!!!

Richard and Meg are truly amazing hosts with a great little complex of cottages in a beautiful part of Siquijor. Use their place as a great spot to explore the island from or be welcomed in like family! The restaurant is cosy and rustic with an amazing sunset view and a select but exceptional menu with notable dishes being beef rendang, Laksa and the Zurichoise Pork (Schnitzel). Meg is a fantastic cook and a lot of the ingredients used in her kitchen come from their smallholding. Fantastic value!

This was one of the nicest places I stayed during my 5 weeks in the Philippines!!! Loved it!!! Meg and Richard are amazing hosts and will do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I loved my cosy glamping tent. Hidden Valley is a chilled out place to hang out, read a book and relax. Meg is a marvelous cook. Everything she cooked for me was absolutely mouthwatering and delicious! So even when you don`t stay the night at Hidden Valley, it is worth going there for Meg`s food and enjoying the view from the restaurant.

There is really nothing to complain about! I had 2 really nice days at Hidden Valley and wished I could have stayed longer! You should know that you are-like everywhere in Siquijor-you are a bit stuck without a scooter. The last glamping tent will only be there for this season and then will be replaced by a cottage. So don`t hesitate if you want to stay a night in a comfy tent!!!

Beautiful Cottages with a great view. Restaurant with the sunset bar is very nice. Great food (especially the Shanghai food) and the owner Richard and Mag and bar tender Mercy are so friendly and cute. We had a perfect stay!

Beautiful views into the jungle, perfect for star gazing, sounds of jungle at night. Great bar a restaurant and possibility to rent a good scooter.
