"The Texican" a Caney Creek è il luogo perfetto per la tua prossima vacanza sulla costa con la famiglia e gli amici. Resta e divertiti a pescare al largo del molo, oppure porta la tua barca per pescare o cacciare le anatre nella East Matagorda Bay, accendere un fuoco nella buca per il fuoco o scendere alla spiaggia di Sargent, solo per citarne alcune! Goditi gli splendidi interni con una cucina da chef nuova di zecca con posti a sedere per un massimo di 20 persone, camere da letto e bagni confortevoli e lussuosi. Amerai l'esperienza Tex-clusive!
La casa è dotata di tv a grande schermo nel soggiorno e 2 delle camere da letto. Abbiamo anche giochi all'aperto, giochi da tavolo, un kayak a 2 posti e seggiolone per bambini disponibili. Frullatore ninja, macchina per il caffè, pentola di terracotta, miscelatore manuale e basi per la cucina fornite per cucinare. Il parcheggio extra è consentito sul lotto asciutto dall'altra parte della strada.

The family &’ I had an amazing stay! Plenty of room for everyone. The stove is amazing! We did lots of fishing, the kids loved it! The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying the view the screened porch is awesome! Definitely wouldn’t mind coming back! SpringBreak2024

Very nice property and is well suited for (2) couples with 4-6 children. We ran into one big issue though. Not sure if was the extreme heat, commercial stove top that required about 8 pilot light to stay on constantly, or the Nest thermo stat (probably a combination of all 3). Either way, the house never got below 76 degrees inside and was ~80 in the kids room next to the stove top. When we got there we turned the thermostat down to 70 degrees and left for the beach on Friday. When we got back, the Nest thermostat had reset itself to 83 degrees. Turned it back down to 70 degrees and was 76 that night around 2am. Went back to the beach saturday and Nest thermostat reset its self again. Turned it back down to 70 on Saturday night but never got below 76 degrees inside. If was just adults, it wouldnt have been that bad, but we had a couple 2 year olds and when they dont sleep well…they get crabby (no pun intended). Hope the property can get the A/C figured out because its great other than that. Wish i could have given this property 5 stars, but it wasnt that for our stay.

Absolutely beautiful home on the water! We loved the beautiful large kitchen and commercial stove which we made breakfast on. I thought it was great that they provided stuff that you may have forgotten, such as dish soap, spices, mosquito spray, sunblock, shampoo and trash bags! The beds were comfortable and so were the bedding! The dock was great for fishing and getting on our boat, but there are a couple of boards that need to be secured/nailed down. Overall, it was a great stay!

We initially wanted Matagorda, but it was full so we chose The Texican. We were pleasantly surprised, and loved our stay! The house is newly remodeled and has everything you need for a weekend getaway! It slept all of us comfortably. The house and property are clean and we will definitely come back back again! Thanks again!

Annual Family Vacation
This is an annual vacation that we take with our family every year. Overall this house was awesome, we enjoyed the swings, the screened in porch on the back of the house. The fishing deck was awesome. The only issue we had was that the boats come through speeding, there is no speed limit for a boat through that area. My family wanted to get on kayaks, they were able to make it one trip. They said that there were some boats that slowed down for them, then there were some that didn't care and just came on through.
The highlight to our trip was that it was my grandchildren's first Family trip. They enjoyed the swing, and as I said before the screened in porch was an awesome place for them to relax and hang out as well.
The property manager is awesome and easy to communicate with. I would recommend this house to all of my family and friends. Enjoy!

Short and sweet
The house was PERFECT for our group of 12.5 very open concept, nice dock/pier to fish off of and swim around. We used the golf cart, paddle boat and washer boards, all were fun and useful. If your wanting to make a “campfire” bring wood to burn. We were intimidated with Cicada Killers flying around but are harmless and never bothered anyone. The home owners were very helpful and attentive to any questions we had. The home is well equipped. The neighborhood is very quiet. It was alittle difficult to initially find because we weren’t very sure how far down the road to drive. Just keep on driving and look for the front of the house with the Mexican statue in the front lawn. We will definitely use the same home again in the future.

The kids did not want to leave.
The Texican was just what we needed for our group of 12. The kids enjoyed the water. The beach is about a 15 minute drive and worth it since we were practically alone. There are not many restaurants right now which made the awesome kitchen even better. Amanda very responsive with our only issue, which was just a trash bin. We'll certainly be looking at the Texican again.

Great Property!
This property is very nice. Home is perfect for 12-14 people. Nice pier for fishing/crabbing and home is ideal for crowds. Landlords are very nice, responsive and accommodating. This is a place to come back to

Overall everything was great. We were told there was butane for the grill but there was no tank. The kitchen was fantastic! We would definitely stay there again!

Anniversary/Family Fishing trip
Our family had a great time at this property!! The porch was fenced and very safe for our toddlers. There was a great area for the kids to play on the driveway and plenty of place to park. The house was such a nice size! The dining table was huge and accommodated all 8 adults and 5 kids easily. I even took my sewing machine and set it up on one end of the table and was able to sew while my husband fished :) There was a kayak and paddle boat the kids enjoyed on the canal. We would definitely stay here again!!

Family getaway
The house had all the amenities of home and a kitchen to die for!! There were 10 of us and there was plenty of room in the house to where we were all comfortable. The kids had a blast fishing off the dock. Can't wait to book our next stay here.

Family Fun
This is an amazing place to rent, we had so much fun. The women all wanted to take home the view behind the kitchen sink. Everything about the kitchen was amazing, the stove, the griddle the dishes, we cooked so much wonderful food and had the best grilled cheese ever! The kids played in the grass under the trees, we sat out on the porch and had coffee or after dinner drinks, not to forget the kids crabbing and fishing on the pier. The Texican was the greatest place to stay, Amanda was also very easy to get in touch with and made sure our stay was the best! I highly recommend this rental for your next family getaway!

Family fell in love home =)
We felling in love with this house. My husband had a blast cooking on the commercial stove. It was more than what we expected. Hope to come back soon. Btw they must have fix the smoke alarm cause there was no beeping sound. House was very quiet and peaceful.

We love the Texican
This is our second time at the Texican. We were a party of four adults and four kids and we were all very comfortable. We had electric golf cart, a kayak, and a pedal boat at our disposal. The kitchen is very well equipped. We caught a lot of fish and crabs from the dock. We can't wait to go back!

Great house!
My husband and his friends stayed here while on a fishing trip, and they said the house is perfect! Lots of room and amenities! If not being able to find the remote is your only complaint, you know this the perfect place to stay. (They found the remote, by the way!) The owner is friendly, helpful and responds quickly. We highly recommend this house!

Clean, comfortable, & cheerful
The Texican was exactly what we were looking for: clean, comfortable, and cheerful with all the amenities two families of four could ever want, including: kayaks, fish rods, outdoor grill, fire pit, etc. Home has very well appointed kitchen. We spent a lot of our time playing in their big beautiful yard overlooking the water. Beds were comfortable and the hosts were responsive and helpful. We will be back!
