If you are going to Nelsons Bay treat yourself to an experience not just a bed for the night! My husband and I had never stayed in b n b accommodation and the hosts Martine & Yves are excellent hosts. The whole experience was beautiful. I was there with my husband for my birthday and to attend a sport event. The choice of decor and being in someones home as a guest was the best experience. The breakfast is so friendly and delicious. We will be back and it certainly sets a high standard. We could have been anywhere in the world and it was private and friendly. Good access to a nice simple Papa Franco and Thai shop (both within walking distance). Highly recommend.

We felt very welcome and enjoyed a lovely short stay with Yves and Martine. Our room was charming, spacious and comfortable. Nelson Bay had much to offer by way of restaurants, coffee shops and walks, both bush walks and along the foreshore. We look forward to visiting again in the not-too-distant future.

Loved our stay at L’Olivette; our room was lovely, lots of thoughtful touches, plenty of room and outside balcony, and Yves and Martine were great hosts. Delicious breakfast overlooking a lovely garden …we didn’t want to leave! Great location for beaches, restaurants and exploring the area. Will definitely be back for another taste of France!

Warm welcome on arrival. The bed is very comfortable and the room is spotless clean. We had the best breakfast in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and don’t mind coming back again.

My daughter and I were lucky enough to stay at L'Olivette for 4 nights. We were made to feel so welcome by Martine and Yves. Their home and gardens are absolutely beautiful. Booking accommodation was a last minute decision and to hv chosen this totally delightful property by the pictures presented, proved to be an unbelievably best choice ever. Beautifully furnished, impeccably clean, our hosts Martine and Yves are a very engaging and interesting couple and the magnificent breakfast was too generous and totally delicious. 10 out of 10 rating, and would highly recommend.
