We have gone nowhere else for our annual Florida vacation since discovering PI. My daughter had her wedding at PI at her "insistence" in 2007. Can't wait to return each year. But the highlight is definitely the 1-2 miles of sugar sand beach and sunsets. Our kids enjoyed the ocean, as well as swimming in the pool and lounging in the hot tub. We were blessed with beautiful and warm Florida weather throughout our stay. The food at Rum Bay and Leverocks was excellent and we were able to have our annual New Years Eve root beer floats from the ice cream shop. We also enjoyed the island activities including tennis, and even a couple of golf cart parades. All said, this is a fantastic family resort with top notch service and amenities.

Beautiful venue, the wedding cordoba toe (Amy) was very attentive and made sure all logistics were handled. My daughter lives 100 miles from the resort worked with the resort remotely. The 3 bedroom was very spacious. We had 90 people on the island and everyone had a very nice stay.

Screened patio needs fixing and MB door to balcony does not lock, even though there are two deadbolts. Location is great.

The resort is beautiful and the three bedroom villa that we occupied was very nice for two couples and three children. I loved the island - very tranquil yet quite warm still in late September! Our grandchildren loved the pool and would have equally enjoyed the beach had the red tide not prevented them from playing there....we certainly hope to return again. And the wedding was beautiful!

Nice, clean condo with great view of pool and ocean. In the middle of the week they began replacing the metal roof of the building. There was crashing sheets of metal and riveting that was very loud. Our grand daughter could not nap. They even put yellow caution tape over the stairs to get up to the condo. When we asked them to stop, the workers were very nice and apologetic. When we complained to the management, he made us feel like we were unreasonable for asking them to quit. When you pay $5000 for a week at a place, you would think that not having construction noise on your roof would be a reasonable expectation. The resort is beautiful and not crowded. Other than that, we did enjoy our stay. Easy access to ocean and pool.

However our master bedroom was hit all the time, the guest shower drain drained very slowly so it was taking a shower in ankle deep water, septic tank was leaking and the smell was terrible every time when went outside to go the to the beach, and the guest toilet didn’t flush the last day. I would think after coming there for 18 years and paying more for this unit you would give me a courtesy credit towards my next year stay memorial weekend 2022 since I already booked it. Thank you!

We love swimming in the Gulf and watching magnificent sunsets. Exploring the island by golf cart and hopping in the pool and hot tub usually round out our day of living on Island Time. Santa surprised both young and old on a Candy filled Firetruck followed by a Christmas Holiday golf cart parade.
That being said, this unit needs maintenance. With proper attention, this Villa can be restored to a Superior rating.
The master and guest room shower heads do not work. The master and guest room king mattresses need replacement, they've long outlived their usefulness. The loft area television is broken. The flooring transition strip between the LR/DR is detached and needs to be tacked down. The barstool at the kitchen counter is missing hardware/screws making it wonky and unstable. The RF burner on the stove doesn't work. Also, the kitchen disposal is stinky and needs sanitizing. The dryer lint trap needs replacement. In general, should go around and check all lights to ensure all bulbs work.(Loft area & LR lamps not working) As a side note, while checking into Palm Island make sure to request an alternative pool key access FOB, as the pool heater associated with the unit is not working. In true 2020 style, the entire island was without power for several hours on Dec 18th.
