My family of 11 stayed at Casi Cielo for the month of July 1-31, 2023. The house is beautiful and the daily staff Soila and Veronica catered to our every need. The caretakers, Papi Victor and Dulce picked us up from the airport and were available to us for any issues. The owner, Chad was super helpful through the booking and payment process. We have had several infrastructure issues (water and power) that were addressed when they occurred. I believe the water truck should come on a regular rotation so people don’t run out of water. Larger groups, like ours; from the states, will run the air conditioning and will all need to take showers regularly. Towels and bath cloths should be available. We brought our own because of other reviews, but our bath cloths continued to be in short supply. Also, when meals are included, those groceries should be purchased according to a menu and any additional items guests would like to add. The receipt should be given to the guest to pay/reimburse the staff weekly or have a cash jar to pull money for groceries (which is what we did). No guest should have to go grocery shopping not knowing the meals, sides, desserts, etc. (which is also what we did in the beginning 3 times). Raquel’s massages are heavenly! The excursions were awesome. We used Eric Tours International and Gus. We did a Catamaran tour, Snorkel Tour, Horseback riding, Paradise Island, City Tour and zip lining! We had an awesome experience! Thank you Casi Cielo!!

beautiful house with all the amenities, had everything we could ask for. Victor, Veronica, and Soili were awesome and we even enjoyed Grande (Pool) and security guard. this was a family vacation with my wife, children, and grandkids and everyone had a wonderful time. Would recommend to everyone, a slice of heaven!

Everything was amazing, Chad was very friendly and attentive. The staff was great as well. Chad you need to update your pictures. Everything was so much better in person. The villa is beautiful, clean and very safe. We had an awesome time, Wish we could of stood longer. Can not wait to return again.

Words can not even begin to describe the time had on our trip! From the moment we stepped foot off the plane ...we were welcomed by our new Dominican family. The house was beautiful with everything we needed. It is amazing! We love Soila, Veronica, Victor, Grande and Marcello. They went aove and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The delivery of groceries fron Juan's store helped tremendously. Massages and mani/pedi's on the lanai was spectacular! The oly thing we missed would be a great big hammock. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven!

Beautiful villa surrounded by other beautiful villas. On the hill so ocean view. Down at the bottom of the road was an all inclusive resort. Our Staff was excellent and friendly. They will do what you ask of them. We went out a lot so we didn’t utilize the ladies as much as we could have. They did laundry and did cook some for us. The property manager Victor was great and came through with everything we asked. Recommend and took us to a mountain top restaurant can’t remember the name but it was beautiful. He always took some of us to a beautiful beach. Received Massages several times at the house! Though I agree with earlier post leave the tours to the tour guide and not the property manager. Sorry Victor 🙃 We booked some tours through Gus, awesome experience. Falls and horseback riding. Remember this is the DR so while your street looks posh, down the road it is not as affluent. We had no trouble and everyone we met was great. I much rather this and meet locals than being in an all inclusive. Met some expats too that recommended great restaurants such as Los Tres Coco, Stefy & Natale for Italian. Hungry Hippo if you want a place on beach with all expats. Heard food was good. So overall what we want and what we needed.

The annual vacation at the beautiful villa in Cofresi Beach was amazing. All the food prepared by Soile and Veronica was very delicious. As always they were nice and pleasant to interact with. Victor the property manager was accommodating. Our security guard did a great job in making everyone feel safe and secure. He was very helpful during our stay.

I had the most wonderful time for my birthday.....I think I’mmaking this my yearly vacation spot....staff were excellent host...and Papi Victor catered to our every need......Great time spent....

We had a great time at this villa and I would highly recommend staying here. The space is super clean and kept that way all week by the staff daily. Security was there every day 7p-7a, but the area is already very safe - we never felt uncomfortable walking around during the day or night. Veronika and Soila were amazing at whipping up food at our request, even with the language barrier (we speak barely any spanish and wanted some Dominican home cooking - thank goodness for google translate!). We didn't get much time with Papi Victor who manages the property as he was out of town, but the times we did engage him, he was super helpful and connected us with everything we needed. If this place is available for your trip, you should definitely book it!

We were looking forward to a family vacation in Paradise with my husband, mother, daughter, son & his bride. The 2 additional sons in university were going to try to join us for the weekend. The listing on VRBO boasts the home sleeps 16 and the price for the week was reasonable until.... check-out came at a much higher rate. Chad, the owner, adds an additional per person/per night charge for parties larger than four which is not revealed until you book. We met in the middle but pricing should be more transparent. Pantry items are listed in the listing as a provided amenity. No salt & pepper. No drinking water. Chad explained that since COVID he no longer provides these basics. It would be far more gracious for an owner to spend $20 rather than have guests hunt for basics when arriving at the house. Bath towels were doled out one per person and, while the bathrooms were very large, there was but one bathmat in each bathroom, leaving one to slide around the tiled floor. Beach towels were scarce and not enough for 6 of us to go to the beach 2 days in a row. The kitchen was in disarray. Cooking utensils were all mixed in a drawer. Another drawer held dishtowels – unfolded, just stuffed in a drawer. Not a single paper towel nor napkin was to be seen. On Day 2 there was no water from the tap. While it was dealt with in a timely fashion, there was a underlying feeling of accusation that we must have left a tap on somewhere. When it happened again 2 days later, it was clear to all that there was a leak in the cistern. As previous guests have commented, Papi Victor was very knowledgeable, agreeable and helpful. All that said, Puerto Plata is beautiful and not even a poorly run house could ruin our vacation.

We enjoy being at the Villa and every one we came across in the neighborhood was awesome. I'm definitely looking forward my next visit to Puerto Plata. Victor was great, took care all of our needs. Just mad it had to end soon

We(3COUPLES) stayed for a week! We LOVED every minute of our stay!!! The villa is GORGEOUS the online pics do this place NO JUSTICE! The staff ESPECIALLY Victor is PHENOMINAL to say the least!!!! He is a major go to with ANY questions ,concerns Etc..... He made OUR stay FANTASTIC!!! You will not be disappointed! From the time we arrived at the airport he made us ALL feel like Family! His recommendations were spot ON. He even arranged our excursions which were wonderful!!!! We stayed entertained and busy our ENTIRE STAY!!!!!!!!! We can not say enough about this villa....Can not wait till we return!!!!

We are beyond excited to go back soon!!! This was a wonderful stay for our family. We were a party of 16, including 3 kids under 5 years old. I was a bit concerned about safety around the pool, but was so happy when we got there and realized safety for kids was thought about when designing the house. All the staff were respectful and really helpful. We had such a fun time! The house is beautiful and the view, amazing. We are already planning to go back soon!!

Amazing place with plenty of rooms and sitting areas. We very much enjoyed staying here and loved the additional service such as the ladies cleaning and cooking, Grande providing fresh coconuts in the morning, the massage ladies that come by at request and the property manager Victor, who is very responsive and can arrange for pretty much anything needed for a nice and relaxed vacation!

It was a very easy check in process, Papi victor was awaiting at the airport to bring us to the house and we were greeted by the staff once we got in. I was very skeptical about the area at first but it was ok. The owners were very responsive whenever I asked a questIon they answered it right away. The staff could’ve been better, we woke up in the morning to the house looking exactly the way it did before we went to sleep, and never really cleaned as it was upon the first day of arrival. We did a lot of cleaning ourselves. The pool guy was very nice and responsive. But a major plus is the pictures of the house really need to be taken all over cause it really don’t do any justice to this home, this home is really beautiful. I know the employees look forward to tips but it’s really a turn off when asked and reminded about leaving a tip, that’s something that need to be rectified. Papi Victor asked a few times about tips for the employees, when booking the stay all is paid for except transportation so a tip is extra, when asked over and over again for a tip it’s very unpleasant and it makes the individual not give as much as they initially wanted to. I come to Dominican Republic every month and if they fix those issues this would be one of the best stays in the whole DR and I stayed in very upscale nice place casa de campo is my regular and cap Cana. Over all I give this place a C but have the potential to be a A

This was a beautiful villa, clean, well maintained, beautiful ocean views from each bedroom and all the balconies. The pictures did not do it justice. One downside was that the pool was not heated and it was just too cold to go in so we couldn't really enjoy it. The staff was amazing. They were very friendly and eager to please. Veronica cooked delicious meals, Maribel -housekeeper and Frank the security guard were all included in the advertised price. However, be aware that even though they advertise a driver comes with the house, he really doesn't. The driver has to be paid for each and every ride including the trip back and forth from the airport. The driver (papi Victor) was very nice and knowledgeable and took us to all the happening nightlife and beaches and we hired him for a tour of the city. Overall it was my first time in DR and I really enjoyed myself and had a great time! I love the people and the country! It definitely will not be my last and when I come back, I would definitely stay here again but for much longer next time!! If I don't make it back, I would definitely recommend this villa to others!

We stayed with our family for one week for Christmas 2021. We had great communication with the owner. This place is very well managed by Victor, who is also available to arrange transport. The cook (Lina) and the cleaning lady (Veronica) were friendly and professional, as was the other staff (pool man and guardian). Superb location, wonderful views, all is clean and tidy. Small supermarket and beach within walking distance. We would thoroughly recommend this Villa.

My family and extended family stayed in the villa in January 2022. The place is amazing and the best service we’ve ever had in a privately owned property. They cooked and cleaned for us every day and in a timely fashion. If you plan on moving around, we highly recommend adding on Mr. Papi as a driver. He was at the airport to pick us up, drove safely, and took us around on a city tour. I would highly recommend this property. Next time, we’ll stay longer.

We are a family of 4 and had our daughter's BF with us. We chose this area thinking that it would be more touristy than it was, however we enjoyed every moment of our stay. The staff is the best- Lina, the cook, is awesome. She makes delicious meals and will cook whatever you want. Victor contacted me prior to our arrival to assure we had what we needed the day we arrived and that we were picked up from the airport. Victor drove us to the grocery store twice and went in with us. I felt a little rushed the first time and stressed but the second time it was better. The store was overwhelming- being an American, not knowing the layout etc. it was after a long day of travel so I attribute it to that. Victor arranged for us to have a tour of the city by him (this was not what I was expecting and do not recommend it- the cigar factory was his friend's shop and the coffee and chocolate factory was a coffee shop), the Macorix rum factory tour was cool and worth it, but not at 10 AM. We saw the city and it was nice but not for $150. Victor arranged for massages at the house- this was great and we really enjoyed it. He also arranged for a tour company to take us to Demajagua falls and on a tour of the mountain- It was a 10 hour day- they told us it would be from 8:30-3:30 and we did not return until 5:30 so be prepared. The hike up the falls was tough but worth it. We loved the falls. Veronica, the house keeper, is super sweet. She will do your laundry a few times a week- that should be explained better. Neither of the two house staff speak English at all. One person in our group was able to translate for us so it was good. Walking down to the beach was overwhelming and a little scary for a group of Americans, however everyone was 100% respectful and nobody was rude or said anything. We felt uncomfortable and out of place but it was a busy weekend and there were tons of people. We ate at Charros and Chris and Mady's- Charro's is fantastic. We also went to Le Papillon for dinner one night- I recommend it- its a 10! I felt that the house could use some nicer furnishings and the kitchen could be kept cleaner. The upstairs air did not work at all in the living area or master bedroom and a repair person came and fixed it once. The pool guy was super nice. We loved the security person, Franc, he sat outside on the golf cart or in a chair every night. We fed him dinner and gave him water. Please tip them well. We loved our experience.

This villa was beautiful! There was plenty of space for our family of 8. Papi Victor was so accommodating he took us everywhere. I can’t say enough about Lina she was both the cook and maid during our stay. She made her favorites for us per our request and the food was amazing! Narsist came every morning and cleaned the pool he does come early so you may or may not see him. Juan came every night at 7 and made sure the property was secure until sunrise. This was truly a relaxing vacation for our family and I highly recommend it.

Our stay in Cofresi was top notch. Victor made everything easy for us. From transportation, to day trips, to advice on where to eat. The staff was so nice and accommodating. They kept the house very clean and cooked excellent meals for us. We will definitely be coming back!

Who says you need a Valentine....when you and 3 other "gals" get together it suddenly becomes a Fabulous Galantine week!. We loved Casi Cielo and plan to go back. The photos do not do the property justice. This Villa is so pretty and the staff (Veronica, Lina, Narciso and Miquel) are all ready to serve your every wish with a smile. Victor aka Papi Victor is a wonderful compliment. He is so accommodating, your request is as good as met...all you need is to ask.
