Sea Star Cottage a Spanish Wells, Bahamas è solo un minuto di golf cart da una bellissima spiaggia di sabbia bianca che si estende lungo la costa settentrionale di Spanish Wells. Ampliamento e ristrutturazione di Sea Star Cottage è stato completato nel 2016. Questo pittoresco cottage è composto da 2 camere da letto, 2 bagni, una cucina completa, soggiorno, lavanderia e una doccia esterna. C'è un balcone al largo della camera da letto matrimoniale, una piattaforma al largo della cucina per mangiare all'aperto e una bella veranda per rilassarsi e divertente. Il cottage è dotato di aria condizionata, ma isola clima è caldo e ventilato quindi si consiglia aprire le finestre. Due biciclette sono inclusi con ogni noleggio. Davvero un luogo confortevole per rilassarsi con tutti i comfort moderni. Situato in posizione ideale, Sea Star Cottage è nascosto in una tranquilla strada laterale tra il 14 e 15 strade, ma centrale situato e vicino a tutti i servizi convenienti che lo spagnolo Wells ha da offrire, tra cui ristoranti, bar, negozi di alimentari, una banca, medico cliniche e altro ancora.

Il traghetto è di circa un viaggio di 2 1/2 ore Partenza Nassau giorno (tranne il martedì) su 8:00 e lascia Spanish Wells circa 4: soggiorni 20p così durante la notte sono tenuti a Nassau per effettuare collegamenti aerei.

Our host supplied many more items than he mentions on his VBRO summary. He thought through so many situations and accounted for every probability. Super, super clean. In an absolutely quiet location. Wow. If we go back there again, this is where we'd like to stay.

Just weeks after my husband's tragic & unexpected death, I googled "Caribbean island, no cars". That's how I found Spanish Wells. I had never heard of it before. I found Sea Star cottage through another google search. This was in 2019.
I contacted Colleen and she was so, incredibly kind. She helped me feel less overwhelmed about traveling alone from Canada with my barely turned three-year-old daughter. She actually met us at the boat dock and gave us a tour of the island in a golf cart before bringing us to the cottage - I will never forget that kindness.
Nine months later, I returned on my own to write and reflect, read, and lie by the sea. I walked the island by night. It was beautiful.
This past trip, was the first my daughter and I have made to the island since before covid. It has now been four years since my husband's death. Returning to this beautiful place - one that offered so much comfort, when I was so early in my grieving process - was a gift I can't begin to express the value of.
This time a friend came to meet us for the second half of our week - very impromptu - and I feel so bad because we were told that the cottage wasn't left as clean as the previous times we'd visited. I would advise anyone coming to ensure that you do not track any beach sand inside and if you have kids - make sure they clean their hands before touching the furniture.
I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to come back and cannot wait to return. We love Sea Star.

The house was in a residential neighborhood just a couple blocks off main street and a short walk to the beach. It was spacious inside with 3 outdoor decks to choose from.The full kitchen plus washer and dryer were great to have. Enjoyed our stay!

First, the beds were comfortable which is huge! That's often a problem with many rentals for me but wasn't the case here!!! Also, nice to have a TV in each bedroom in addition to the living area. Plenty of kitchen appliances though we only used the coffeemaker and pots and pans and dishes. The home was so well-equipped! I enjoyed this with my spouse and my two sisters and everyone was so pleased with this place!!! We didn't need separate entrances but for two couples who wanted to share a place and still maintain some privacy or ability to come and go separately that would be a big bonus. All of the locals were so friendly! We enjoyed the deck often. Our "go to" spot was to park behind the Methodist Church to access the beach after getting that tip soon after our arrival. It was also very nice to have a washer and dryer. We couldn't be more pleased with everything about this home. If anything, maybe some dishes could be added but that's small stuff in comparison to all of the benefits. Management was spectacular, home was comfortable and felt even larger than it appeared in photos, and was clean. I got lots of compliments from my sisters for arranging such a nice play to stay. Thanks for having us, Sea Star Cottage!!! We might be back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at sea star cottage in Spanish wells Bahamas! The house was absolutely adorable and made us feel home on our vacation! I would definitely recommend this house! We look forward to going back in the future!

Wonderful second stay at the Sea Star Cottage! Rental is absolutely clean, comfortable & matches the photos/description. Appreciated the beach gear, kitchen supplies, bikes, etc. The quiet neighborhood is great for walks & it's a 1-minute golf cart ride to the beach. The property manager provides excellent communication. Highly recommend!

Fantastic place
Everything you need at an affordable price. Any issues were handled quickly and in a very friendly manner. Clean, well stocked, close to a beautiful beach. I would suggest adding some Rokua or Firesticks to the TVs but that’s just a personal preference. Thanks for everything!

Back for a second stay!
This was a return visit for us; we love Sea Star Cottage! The location is perfect in a quiet neighborhood in the middle of the island. Easy access to either side. The home is comfortable, very clean and well equipped for preparing meals. It hits all of our 'look fors', which are: good bed/linens, outdoor space, a nice kitchen and washer/dryer. Owners are very nice and accommodating. Because the island is only 1/2 mile wide, the beach is walkable from just about anywhere. If you rent a golf cart (recommended), you can visit a different beach everyday and still return to a quiet house at the end of the day. Spanish Wells is a great island and Sea Star Cottage is a great place to use a home base on the island.

Charming, Comfortable, Easy
My husband and I stayed at Sea Star for 3 nights and it was perfect for our vacation. Spacious, clean, and centrally located to the grocery store, restaurants, and gorgeous beaches. The house is very quiet supplied with all the essentials, it had everything we needed to make a few meals, do laundry, and have morning drip coffee on one of the outside decks. The neighbors were very friendly waving to us as we drove by in our golf cart plus it’s a quick, easy walk to the beach. We would love to stay there again on our next trip to the Bahamas.

We could not have had better accommodations or more attentive hosts. Everything was perfect, from cleanliness of the house and welcome supplies to helping us with related needs including transportation to and from the island. The location is also fantastic, on a quiet road and only a short walk to the beach, stores and restaurants. This was our second stay and we’ll definitely be back!

Cozy Island Adventure
Colleen was excellent communicating with us before and during our stay. The Lowes have a cute home with a well equipped kitchen, quality beds, bedding, towels and furniture. They provided a new charcoal grill, 2 bikes, 2 new folding beach chairs, and beach umbrella to enhance our stay. Great location just two blocks from the most beautiful beach we have every seen. We highly recommend Starfish Cottage.

Wonderful week!
We loved sea star cottage and really appreciated all the little things like charcoal which we used to cook the fish we caught. Quiet neighborhood and easy to get to the beach. A suggestion would be beach chairs. I couldn’t find any in the stores. Since we are in our 60’s beach chairs are becoming a necessity ..
WiFi was out most of the week but we expected it would be intermittent .
We would definitely like to return to sea star cottage.

Peace and tranquility
This was my second time staying in Spanish Wells in 3 months. The cottage is spotless, renovated and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the fact that the bedrooms are apart from each other makes for a good design. It's a bit further to the beach (7-10 minute walk) and stores but I did rent a golf cart for the 2 weeks I was there. Water pressure is good (and important) but one thing I will comment on that was disappointing was the outdoor shower. I was expecting an enclosed shower but this was merely an outdoor spout and showerhead. You can enjoy the nightlife if you want but you can also just relax at "home" or walk to Pappa's Scoop Shop around the corner. I am returning to SW in a few weeks for the third time. It's a great village and the locals are always ready to lend a hand if need be, including a ride if you are walking along the main road!

Great Cottage on a Fantastic island.
Great, relaxing stay on a very clean island. Cottage is centrally located to beach, restaurants and waterfront. Very laid back feel, will definitely return. This was our third stay at this property.

We love Sea Star!
My 3-year old daughter and I travelled to Spanish Wells for 2 weeks in May and stayed at Seat Star. We had an amazing time. Colleen was so welcoming, meeting us at the ferry dock and helping us with a tour of the island. We rented a "buggy" and it was really fun driving it around. We also walked to the beach near the cottage every day. It's very calm and nice for kids to play in. The kitchen in the cottage was great and we cooked a lot of our own food. The grocery store is within walking distance of the cottage too. We loved sitting on the front patio and my daughter loved the outdoor shower so, so much. We will definitely be coming back again. We love Sea Star!! (And Spanish Wells).

We had an amazing time! Cottage is in a great location and very clean!! Everything you could possibly need is stocked in the cottage for your use. We enjoyed quite a few days where we were the only people on the beach. Spanish Wells is a beautiful island and we highly recommend this cottage. We cant wait to visit again!

Beautifully appointed cottage
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and appointed cottage. It is spacious, housed our family of three comfortably and was tranquil and a perfect home away from home. We took the bikes for rides and relaxed happily in the shade of the garden. A thoughtful bottle of wine awaited us when we arrived and we received plenty of advice from the owner when we need it. Wish we could have stayed longer.
