Great garden, if you´re looking for a place in a lushious - well designed garden, then the place is for you. Breakfast was very good with wide range of choises, with option of sitting outide which was very nice. Hotel is very clean.

Average restaurant. Staff being sometimes stringent. We couldn´t get an iron and ironing borad to the room for ´security reasons - dangerous carpet´- wait, what?! You would have to send it to laundry to pay for it. Lot´s of additional charges including basic things in 4 star hotel like coffee in the room. Giving this hotel though only 6 as a main score due to not so great experience with new year´s dinner, which I found awkward. The food quality was definitely not worth paying 72 euro per person (excluding drinks), plus the atmosphere was specific - hotel did not ´hint´ us about that ahead of time, neither in the reception or othewise. If you´re in your 30´s and like good food - DON´T GO for that dinner , find a restaurant in town instead!

great location for Tenerife, very good and lot of variety breakfast, staff is supper nice and helpful. beds were so comfortable we really enjoyed everything. also paid for the parking 7 Euro per day, it’s worth every penny.

The location is fantastic. The room had an amazing view, and was very clean with all the needed facilities. The Garden is a perfect place to have breakfast. We really liked our balcony!

Adding a fridge can be a good idea and also have more space in the garden for breakfast, but not critical. Amazing time-spending in the hotel!

This is a boutique hotel, located in a very nice garden. The surroundings are quiet and beatiful, a perfect place to relax. The breakfast is rich and qualitative.

Location was excellent with a superb view of the bay. Breakfast and other meals were very good. Hotel staff were very helpful particularly in arranging day tours and supportive when I needed to go to the hospital after a fall outside the hotel.

The location in Taoro park was quite rural yet only a short ride by taxi into the centre of Puerto de la Cruz. It has always been a family run hotel and the family are always around to ensure the residents have the best possible experience

The lifts in the reception area are too small and one of them appears to have been out of service for some time. there is another lift at the other end of the building, but it is not signposted anywhere.

The Hotel was in a quiet location which was good, not so good were the 142 steps down to town and rose still the 142 steps back up the hill.

Lovely hotel, situated in beautiful, peaceful gardens with a heated pool. Very clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful & attentive. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of freshly made choices. Excellent value for the quality. Short walk down the hill into city of Puerto de la Cruz which has lots of options for eating & drinking plus beaches and salt water lagoons for relaxing.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room nor was there a fridge, however the room was a good size, nice & quiet, dark (at night) with a good balcony overlooking the gardens so no real grumbles.

Hotel Tigaiga is a very good hotel, organised, with nice and clean rooms, comfy beds, very good breakfast. Pool, grounds and garden around the hotel are very well maintained. Nice park in front of the hotel for an evening walk as well! Personnel is very friendly. Hotel seems to be mainly booked by "older" German tourists, we are mid-fifties and were probably among the few "younger" couples :) Main advantage: relaxing atmosphere and noise is non-existent compared to hotels in the south of Tenerife! If you want to eat out in the city, it's a 10-15' walk down and similar climb back up (or you can take a taxi to bring you back). Close to the hotel there is an excellent bar/terrace with very good cocktails, get there 1 hour before sunset!

We were mildly irritated that no free bottle of water was available in the room for a hotel of this quality standard (and price level) and found the vending machine in the lobby overpriced as well. Honestly we don't understand this. Not a lot of parking space available at the hotel's premises, but should be possible to park further up in the street.

Breakfast was good
