We spent a week at Le Rosier which is one of about 5 or 6 holiday accommodations set in the grounds of Le Petit Manoir de Vitrac. If you are in the area, I can recommend you stay here. The hosts were very friendly, and Anne speaks excellent English. It meant that I didn't have to put my schoolboy French to the test. The swimming pool was still open when we visited and was welcome after a day's sightseeing. The location in my opinion could not be faulted.

We had a lovely time staying here. The cottages are nice an clean and are very well equipped. Close to a lot of attractions and there is plenty to do nearby. Anne is very friendly and we felt welcome straight away. Higly recommed this place for anyone looking for a break in the country side.

The situation of Le petit manoir was perfect as it is at the heart of several places we wanted to visit without having to drive miles. Our accommodation was first class and although the weather was unusually hot for mid September the rooms were always very comfortable for temperature. Our hosts, Anne and her family were always on hand and very helpful. In addition the pool was beautifully maintained and a joy to use as the weather was so good. Many thanks to Anne and family and we would fully recommend Le Petit Manoir.

Having to leave!

We loved the location. It was so quiet and peaceful. The countryside is so beautiful. We were a short drive from Domme with its gorgeous town and fantastic market on a Thursday. The Kayaking down on the river was brilliant too. Loved Friday night pizza and the BBQs every other night. It was so great that we had air conditioning as we were there during the heatwave.
