I arrived early, no early checkin despite the room being ready...and cleaned

In the room with the skylight, would have been nice to have an eye mask provided. I woke up really early each day I was there because of the light. When traveling with the time zone diff it made the travel to the east coast from the west a bit challenging

Did not get the apartment I reserved 12 months in advance. I suspect that Maverick suite did not initially realize it was Marathon weekend. They changed my reservation at the last minute to 400 Columbus which was not at all comparable even stating work being done in the Newbury appartement initially rented (which I do not believe being true)

Not well soundproof. Noisy work happening in building during stay. Soft bed

Comfy bed, great location and very quiet at night

4th floor walk up, dim lighting and no bedside lamp.

No breakfast. Sheets and studio very clean

The towels don’t seem to have been washed commercially. Fourth floor with no elevator. Rather mean supply if 1 coffee sachet each for four nights.

the location is very convenient. about 10min walk from Back Bay station for both the subways and Amtrak. It’s on Newbury Street so there’s a lot of shops and restaurants just a few min away, (a lot of bubble tea stores near by) you can see CVS from your windows if you need anything.

The bed was super squeaky very loud. Countertop has some water stains and there’s one or two questionable body hair on the towel that’s hung on the shower door (we put them on the floor as a rug anyways there’s other towels for body). Also our door is right next to another studio we could hear them punching their code to get into their studio which is kinda scary I thought someone was coming into ours. The check-in and check-out time was kinda inconvenient for us. Check-in was 4pm earliest we arrived Boston at 1pm had to use Bounce to find a place to hold our belongings for a few hours. Check-out was at 11am we leave at 9:30pm had to use Bounce again because we weren’t gonna carry all our bags while walking the Freedom Trail.

TV didn’t work properly. Could have provided tea bags & kettle.
