Einfach ein schönes Flecken Erde inmitten der Natur im Sauerland. Für Kinder gibt es viel Bewegungsmöglichkeiten und Tierbegegnung. Man nimmt alles nicht so ernst, es geht locker, ehrlich dort zu.

Es war leider sehr hellhörig und die Ausstattung etwas in die Jahre gekommen z.B. konnten die Fenster nicht vollständig Verdunkelt werden.

Wirklich tolle Wohnungen und super sauber. Alle sind echt super lieb dort! Ein richtig toller Familienbetrieb.

Herr Homann war überaus freundlich und auch den Kindern sehr zugewandt. Unsere Jungs (6 und 9 Jahre alt) waren täglich im Kaninchenstall und auch das Ponyreiten und -striegeln hat ihnen viel Freude bereitet. Wir hatten maximal schlechtes Wetter ( 2 Grad , Regen), aber haben das Beste draus gemacht. Der Kamin war dabei sehr angenehm.

The Ferienhof is great for families. There are lots of activities available for kids, like pony and horseback riding, feeding the rabbits, swimming in the pond, tractor ride and more. the property is beautiful and has lots of pretty and relaxing places.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are a few things where things could be improved. There was not a lot of communication with the staff. when we checked in nobody was in the office. Only on the next day we were told that some of the activities (like horseback riding) are charged extra and learned about the prices, which were not mentioned anywhere. There is also no information about how to get e.g. more trash bags, more toilet paper etc. The office was typically empty and no-one picked up the phone on the numbers that were provided. We were in apartment 2, which has a terrace and is in the “Bauernhof” building. the apartment has 3 doors, the 3rd door can only be shut but not locked, as no key is available. This was a bit unfortunate as that door goes directly to the street, and the kids could just open the door and be right on the street. It was also noisy, in addition to the faming machines that drive past you can hear everything that happened in the apartment above and there was construction across the street. The house is also not very well insulated and even in June the heater was running despite really warm weather.
