Cottage was great..everything you would need...Lewis and Oscar the owners dogs were very welcoming. Location was good for visiting surrounding areas....you do need a car as there are no direct walks from the cottage definitely stay here again.

Lovely quiet country location and great base from which to explore the area. It’s close to the coastal path, Barnstaple is a few miles away, as is Exmoor. The cottage was comfy and well equipped. It was lovely to see the chickens, ducks wandering freely ( also making friends with the owners’ two dogs)

Nothing to dislike

We like the owners very much,they were very hospitable ,gave us fresh eggs when ever we wanted any & gave us some homemade chelsea buns!!

Cottage had everything we needed and was ideal for us and our 2 dogs. Well equipped kitchen and comfy bed. We loved the fresh chicken eggs for breakfast too.

Nothing not to like.

Absolutely gorgeous property, and even more beautiful surroundings. Will most certainly be back at some point to explore some more. The hosts were both super friendly and really helpful. Lucky the Ram was also a lovely little bit of joy in the garden.

We loved everything about staying here. The cottage is warm and comfortable, very well furnished and equipped and a lovely homely place to stay in. It's set on a little homestead with hens, geese, ducks and a sheep. The owners couldn't do enough for us. It was all wonderful.

You have to sit in the bath to have a shower.

We loved it all. The property was everything you would hope for in a little cottage. The TV room was a cosy & warm snug. The kitchen was a good size with an electric oven and had every facility that you need. The bathroom was a good size with plenty of hot water. Both bedrooms were big enough to sleep 2 people with plenty of storage. The views from the windows were stunning. Being in the middle of the countryside with the birds singing, the ducks quacking, the chickens supplying you with fresh organic eggs and the dogs giving you a warm welcome. The owners Tom & Charlie are a wealth of information on Devon and are the perfect hosts.

We didn't like leaving and will definitely return one day, hopefully for a bit longer.
