The best thing about the property is the view, It was amazing to look across Lake Garda from the huge panoramic window in the lounge. It was clean and really well located, only a few minutes walk to the centre and around 15 minutes walk to the train station which allowed us to get around very easily, visiting Venice, Verona and Brescia by train. The ferry port is accessible within minutes to access to all of the beautiful towns around Lake Garda. We had to contact the management company quite a few times and they were responsive. and helpful.

The property has a large terrace but there was no sun shade or parasol. I enquired with the agent and was told that a previous guest had thrown the parasol off the terrace and so the owner would not allow one any more. I think it is wrong to advertise the terrace as a selling point when it is impossible to use in the sun. The property is in need of some TLC. Perhaps the owner or management company need to carry out an inspection and some maintenance. For example there were only 3 wine glasses, yet there were 8 dining chairs, the bathroom was in need of renovation, particularly the shower which has black mould around it. The wardrobes in the bedrooms had the hanging rails so high you needed a step to hang clothes up. Under the tv cabinet there was a large carrier bag absolutely full of old cables etc, really scruffy. The back terrace was very scruffy with the cleaner's equipment all over and managing the 4 different types of rubbish collection was really difficult. There were very few instructions in the property so we could not get the tv to work, the remote for the blinds ran out of charge and we didn't know how to charge it, the air conditioning instructions for the lounge were inadequate, the washing machine needed an extension cable but it wasn't with it etc. We had to look up the bin collections to properly understand them and the various bags and cardboard boxes that we were required to use had not been left for us. We ended up having to take rubbish out with us and put it in the street bins.

The location was very good. An apartment so no breakfast. Splendid views from the picture window and outside area.

The outside furniture was a bit scruffy. The information in the apartment guide could have included suggestions and directions for shops. It was not a problem for us but for a short stay it would be very helpful.

The location is fantastic, the balcony makes the vacation. The staff were also extremely responsive and helpful!

The locks of the front gate and front door of the old building were extremely difficult to open🙈
