The apartment was clean, large and ideal for a Miami vacation

We stayed at the Hyde previously, so I was concerned about the Valet parking at the Tides, but after paying the parking fee and getting a parking badge, we were able to self-park the entire trip. There are fees you have to pay, such as parking and cleaning and fob fees, some cash only some credit card. These fees were not a surprised because they were clearly listed in the description of the rental arrangements. Vanessa literally walked you through check-in.
The apartment was very close to Hallandale Ave. You can walk to restaurants, and there is a Walmart in very close walking distance.
There were two beach chairs, a cooler and umbrellas for you to use. The beach access is in the pool area. Note, the smaller umbrella poles are two different sizes, we made it work by placing a drink Cozie over the smaller pole in order to fit into the larger umbrella holder. We brought our own sand screw; I don't remember seeing one.
It is very difficult to get a pool chaise unless you go early in the morning or later in the afternoon. People were making do by using their beach chairs.
The apartment comes with a coffee maker, an electric tea kettle and a blender all in good condition.
I was pleased with the condition of the apartment.
We really enjoyed our stay.

But the reservation was disappointing
At the arrival in property someone demanded a cleaning service fee not declared up front
in the reservation process, as if to intentionally conceal the charge. I find this deceptive and a bad business practice

The place felt like home. Very clean. Very peaceful. Very quiet even though there were a ton of people. A one thing to consider-
1. Mattress are firm. May consider adding a sof Mattress topper to one and leaving the other as is.

The location of Daniel's condo, right on the beach, is excellent!!! So convinient to walk out of the building strait on the beach.
Communication and service provided on site by Vanessa was prompt and helpful.
The major pain point, however, is the obsolescence of some basic equipment such as the beach chairs, ombrella, iron table, clothing hangner etc.. Those were obsolete, broken or worned out which do not fit the rest of the apartment. It would benefit the overall experience having them renewed.
In terms of Net Promoter Score, I would rank it 7.5/10

The condo was well maintained with no issues noted during stay.
Walking distance to restaurants and Walmart. You can also use Circuit to travel to different locations in Hollywood Beach for 2 dollars per person. The high speed internet was great no buffering during streaming. Overall it was a great stay with the heated pool and the beach steps away.

The room itself was not bad and was very clean. Conveniently right on the beach, pool was clean, and the beach accessories were very handy! Vanessa was great and super friendly.
We were a little thrown off that the cleaning fee is not already included into the total. Having to pay cash when we got there for the cleaning and key fobs was not ideal. We were forced to purchase two fobs when we only needed one. If we are returning it during check out we should get the money back (like a deposit instead of purchase). Altogether, the additional fees start to add up and bump the total up alot.
Another concern was the kitchen supplies was not the best. There was only a small and large pot and a pan. Everything stuck to the pan no matter how much butter, spray or oil you put on it! This made cooking take very long and messed up a few meals.
Also, apparently they are under new management so I believe this may be a reason for a few concerns/issues. My family stayed in 5 different rooms at this location and a few have even stayed at The Tides in previous years, but they said this year they were not satisfied with their stay. It was difficult to use the fob for every single door to the pool then to the beach, etc. I can understand using it to get into the building. Also, even though we had wrist bands for staying at the hotel they asked us everyday, while we were at the pool, to check in so they could ensure we were guests. This means no guest can come hang out

Great Condo
Great condo with pools and beachfront. Would stay again at the condo in the future. Only negative was the beach belonging to the condo did not have chairs and umbrellas to rent. The condo had chairs and umbrella to bring down, but sometimes on vacation I don't feel like dragging them down and setting them up. Nice to have a company set up on beach and you can rent. What we did was move to the resort on the left and rented a set at that resort a couple days.

Our stay was just as expected! Everything we needed was right there! Apartment is right on the beach and Walmart is a half mile walk away. Everyone in the building was very friendly, the apartment was very clean and very spacious! We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay
My 16 year old daughter, her friend & I just returned last week from a week at this property - we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to make meals, which was a big $$ saver. We did have a car, so were able to explore the entire Hollywood Beach area. Check in was great - Vanessa & her sister were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Beautiful condo with everything you need, beach chairs & towels, etc. Great location on beautiful beach with blue water. Need to travel for restaurants though, only 2 within walking distance that we could find. Took the bus down to or up to the Boardwalk (concrete broadwalk) many restaurants there. We would return to this lovely resort, nice heated pools too.

Great beachfront location, awesome amenities and experience
Beautiful and stylish condo, great beachfront location with all the modern amenities of a high-riser building. Breathtaking cityscape views from 14th floor! Check-in was a bit more involved logistically but the reception team made it effortless and straightforward. Great location: beach and pool and close enough to drive to Miami for some big city action if needed. The condo has extensive list of things a family might need on a beach vacation: stocked kitchen and other miscellaneous items including beach furniture. Apartment was exceptionally clean and comfy. We has a great time and truly enjoyed everything the area had to offer. Next time we are in the area we would definitely consider staying here again!

Great unit
Location was perfect! Walking distance to Walmart, right on the beach, pool was great and the gym was plus. The unit was clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach toys and cooler were a huge help when going to the beach for the day. Management was very responsive, check in and check out were both very smooth. Will definitely rent again.

My opinion
In general was good, view from the balcony, (you can see river and this is shadow side of the building - you can enjoy while sitting at the balcony. Location good everything you need very close buy, beds are nice, clean bed linen and towels... But in general this apartment was not clean well, floor was sticky (Of course looks like cleaned after preveous guests)... but knifes broken, forks and spoons are cheapest, there is no board to cut fruits... Price ok, but all service fee... higher then expected.... But...
I can recommend... this building and apartment if you want travel and discover Florida.

Nice place for a short stay
Daniel and Vanessa were great to work with and were helpful with a somewhat confusing check-in system. Glad Vanessa was there to guide us! The apartment is nice and is just like pictured. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are comfortable. The beach chairs in the unit were nice so we didn’t have to rent every day. The pool area was nice but if you want to get chairs you must go down around 7:30 and put your towels out to “claim” them. (Although there is a sign that says this is not allowed, it happened every day of our 10 night stay.) Because of this (and a few other pesky building rules) we would definitely stay here again, but not for more than 2 weeks. Convenient area close to lots of shops and restaurants (if you have a car). We enjoyed our stay here.

We had a great stay at “The Tides” property. The pools & the beach were awesome. The beach was beautiful & we could walk to lots of restaurants & Walmart. We will definitely come back.

Adequate
The apt was adequate. The property manager, vanessa was great. Very helpful. But the owner was a different story. I asked for a late check-out (I said whatever time he could manage ) since I had a late flight. He wanted to charge me for an extra night to checkout an hour or two late. Would not budge even though no one was staying there the next day. The furniture wasnt comfortable and cheap but the building is right on the beach so very convenient. They charge extra fees for every little thing and it really adds up. They really nickel and dime you.
Overall we had a nice time despite these annoyances.

Nice place to stay for a winter get-a-way
We enjoyed our time at this condo in the Tides. Two pools and access to the beach within steps was a great reason to stay here. The condo was clean and had all the little “extras” provided. What we didn’t have we could get with a quick walk to Walmart. Staff was SUPER friendly. We would stay here again.
Beach toys, chairs, umbrella, towels included which was really nice. Great value for the price!
One suggestion: it would be nice to have a renter’s booklet/info on close resteraunts, shopping, things to do, places that deliver food, how to use the washing machine (preload your card with money on a machine found on main level by the mail boxes), building rules/guidelines etc...
