From the moment we arrived, to, when we left, the staff were cheerful and friendly. The lodge was beautiful, its location provided lots of privacy, it was spotlessly clean, and a really comfortable and cosy place to relax. It was so well equipped. They had thought of everything. Great location to explore, and the village was close enough to pick up any supplies or have a drink and meal in the pub

simple and nice enough looking at a glance. hot tub was great, indoor pool and softplay were an unexpected nicety

not matching the pictures on booking poorly cleaned with no cleaning product left to clean yourself, what use is a mop and bucket without floor cleaner no hand soap in the toilet no working clock no toiletries but states enjoy your toiletries

The property was well located in a quiet area but less than 10 minutes from Yarmouth. The cottage was clean and cosy, with self-catering facilities well stocked. Comfortable bed and spacious living area. Nice patio.

When we booked it stated “WI-FI in common areas” but when asked they said they didn’t have it and to go to a coffee shop in town. A couple of things were broken when we got there (the remote control wasn’t working and the pedal for the bin), informed the team and were told they would come fix it, but no one did. Stated that toiletries were included but had to buy our own.

Such a shame that the Bed was so rock hard and extremely uncomfortable . No wi -fi in the cottage which is essential to our business so we had to leave after 2 nights having found an available hotel

Location excellent Size and decor nice

No cafe to eat , no cola at bar.. Cottage could have been a bit cleaner, shower not clean and dirty glasses in cupboard.

Location, hot tub.

The shower was blocked completely. As soon as the water started to flow, it did not drain, so the shower was unable to be used. We alerted the staff regarding the issue and they said that they would inspect. However, the next day, there was no improvement, the water overflowed immediately into the bathroom floor. There was no follow up from the staff. This was so obvious, whoever had cleaned the shower prior to our arrival would have known just how blocked the shower drain was. This should have been sorted prior to any guests staying. Cleanliness of accommodation was poor, particularly the floor area that required cleaning on arrival. There were brightly coloured, childrens beads on the floor, that had not been cleaned up. Very disappointing. There was no WiFi in the accommodation and no mobile phone signal, so we were completely cut off. We were unable to plan our days out, until we had left the site and had internet connection. The bungalow was semi detached and not detached as expected. It was very noisy with the 2 families on either side being in such close proximity. You could hear the people speaking the adjacent bungalow and kids screaming and shouting. Prior to arrival, we had asked for a bungalow in a quiet area, but this was not addressed. As one family moved out, another moved in. Even though other parts of the site did appear to be much quieter. This was overpriced for the quality of the accommodation.

Room was ok and probably like the photos when new BUT stains mould spores and a crap hot tub nothing like the pictures

Everything needed in the cottage and close to amenities.

Beds were very very comfortable that I resorted to sleeping on the sofa which was far more comfortable.

Family friendly. 5 mins walk from the beach. Customer service was great. Toilet and shower didn’t drain properly and we’re fixed within an hour.

the hot tub, the area, the accommodation, bathroom, and the dogs were very happy. Enclosed area and privacy with the hot tub. It could have been a little warmer but i think it was set to 38c which was great. We were a short walk from the beach. Cute bag for the dogs, and treats and blanket for them.

Beautiful accommodation in a wonderful place, ideal base for seeing this wonderful spotless island. The lodge had everything you would need from towels bedding, dishwasher microwave and washing machine. Will definitely return to this great accommodation at The Bay Colwell cannot wait to come back it was spotless.

There was nothing wrong with this, but there wifi was down on the days we stayed so we couldn't go in the pool. Which was a shame.

Great location, lodge had everything we needed, staff were friendly, beds were comfortable and hot tub was clean. Out of hours support was very responsive when we needed them too.

Only issue was security light in garden area stayed on for so long and was very sensitive so woke me up a lot at night
