The location is right in the heart of Ikaria's main port, Agios Kirykos. Plenty of places to eat in the evening and much more atmosphere than any other of the island's towns or villages.
No sandy beaches nearby. A few pebbly ones south of the Port, or a 4km trip north to Therma (accessible by local bus and taxis) is better for swimming.

The position of the TV is such that if want to wach from bed you need take special position
The automatic light at the stairs is on for 3 sec after you press the button so someone has to stay down to repress it till the other one goes up (one fllor) and do the same for the other one to come up

Good room in the town a very short walk from the seafront, bars and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff, we arrived on the ferry very late at night and she met us and took us to the room. She was very helpful with suggestions and was very welcoming.
The room itself was a good size and the bed was comfortable. There was no air con but a ceiling fan, we were there at the end of the summer season so it wasn't too hot but probably worth bearing in mind if you stay when it's really hot. That said there were 2 balconies and there's good air flow with the doors open.
The kitchen wasn't particularly well equipped but there was enough that we could make coffee and breakfast.
In general we had a good stay for a great price.
The only down side was the shower, there was no bracket for the shower head, the shower curtain was hung too low so was dragging all over the floor (and wasn't the cleanest) and there was the smell of drain in the bathroom the whole time but we just kept the window open.
Oh and the lights were aggressively bright.

It is on the seafront in the heart of the town. The staff were nice. We were met there despite it being late at night. Everything worked.

Close to ferry port, which is what we needed when our ferry arrived at 11:30 pm. Staff met us in plaza just when we were having trouble locating the hotel, which was a lifesaver! The room was very basic but clean, and covered all our needs for a three day stay. We purposely reserved a triple so we'd have more space. We took advantage of the kitchenette to make a couple light meals to eat on our balcony. We found it actually to be unexpectedly relaxing to stay in this unpretentious and minimalist environment. The place had a good vibe! We did hear someone singing what sounded like traditional Greek folk songs somewhere (a bar nearby?) in the middle of our last night there. I was torn between enjoying the music and being unable to sleep because of it! It went on for hours, until 4 or 5 a.m. Other than that, we found it pretty quiet.
If there had just been a place on the wall to hold the shower head! It's hard for me to hold it and wash (especially my hair) at the same time.

Great location and a good welcome from Julie who met us. We emailed for an extra pillow and it was there in minutes. Very impressed with that. It was handy for the port.
There was nowhere to leave the luggage when we left. I did email the contact who met us on arrival but got no reply. So we sat around from 11am till 4.30 with our cases.

Good location. Spacious rooms with two balconies. Kitchen to cook and all needs.
The room wasn’t cleaned everyday. Shower curtain broken and useless. Room very noisy near the stairs and you can hear people and kids screaming on the streets.

Central location ideal for the port. We were in our room before the ferry we arrived on had left the harbour. Good choice of restaurants on your doorstep. A view of the harbour from the room. Check in was easy.

Excellent location in Agious Kyrikos. Clean room. Friendly staff. Good WiFi. Perfect for connecting to a ferry or organising your trip around Ikaria. Recommended
