House fit our needs well and is great property just a block from the lake. Beds were all comfortable and two rooms upstairs are huge. Would stay here again.

Nice place good location

We were scheduled to stay here but ended up with a family emergency and weren’t able to make it happen. Maybe another time.

Met our needs. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. Close to all golf courses.

The upstairs rooms are huge and worked out great for cooking, eating and playing games. Used the outdoor table to eat too and fire pit one evening. Three bedrooms downstairs are fine to sleep. All three bathrooms were updated and very nice. Couldn't ask for more..so glad this was our place to stay!

We had a great time. We left a list of suggestions that we thought would be helpful for future guests. We are probably ‘unusual guests’ in that we enjoy being together, cook, bake, play lots of games n stay at the house for the most part. Thank you, Alan, for responding to my ‘issues’ and bringing a new grill. I hope you have a great season!

Great place! Everything was perfect except the pillows on the beds need to be replaced. Otherwise it’s a great place.

It was OK.

This cabin was very clean and just the right size for our family. Only downfall is that it wasn't near as close to walking distance to shops and restaurants. Overall, a great place to stay!

First the bad - to access the property there is an electronic key pad. The access code is so basic that if someone wanted to break in, it would probably be their first or second guess. Not only that, but the code has clearly never been changed, so anyone that has ever stayed here would already have the code and could come back and access the property anytime they wanted. There are no additional locks, chains, slide-bolts, etc. so anyone that can figure out the extremely basic access code can access the property at any time. We did not have any problems with this while we were there, but I never felt very safe while we were sleeping (although I wedged a chair in front of the door at night) nor did I like leaving all our stuff during the day. I get why the owner uses the electronic key pad for check-in and check-out, but there should be at least one additional lock with a key that the renter has control over while staying (or at least a chain or bolt for additional security at night). I would have given the property 4 stars, but this issue really bothered me. Outside of this, the property is in a good location. Just minutes from beaches, marinas, or the amusement park. Its a little odd being on the edge of the RV park. However, this is a seasonal, long-term RV park and is very quiet. We stayed Sunday-Thursday and only saw anyone in the RVs once or twice. The place had everything we needed. Gas grill was in great condition and had full tank and all the utensils we needed. Bed mattresses all looked/felt new and were comfortable. However, the master bed is slightly out of level (or maybe its the floor that isn't level) and it slopes slightly toward the headboard. The TV remote in the main room barely works and a channel listing would have been helpful (although it was so hard to use the remote not sure how much help).

This cabin was very spacious and clean. We had 13 people in our party and we stayed for a week. Just a Couple blocks to lake. Kids enjoyed fishing off the dock. Highly recommend this place!

Part of the house was the office for the adjacent RV park- information on the house did not disclose that the home was part of an RV park. Lower level bedrooms were dark, smelled and musty. Dishwasher did not work. Beds in one upstairs bedroom had uncomfortable beds.

Listing doesn't say this, but it adds $20/guest for all those over 4 guests. Very deceptive!! The basement smelled very musty and was very humid. The 2 dehumidifiers didn't work because they were all clogged up, and the little charcoal packets hanging everywhere just don't cut it. The property is very dated. The door won't unlock unless you pull hard on it - must be warped. However, the owner was quick to reply to my questions. There's that.

'We had a great weekend staying on this property. We had plenty of room. The location made it easy to get to the places we wanted to go. We had so much fun we've already booked it for a weekend in June!

Size of the house was perfect. Location was ok. All the beds were comfortable, but bedrooms were definitely in need of at least one chair, a chest of drawers and a mirror. A few hangars in the closets without doors would have been appreciated. We cooked breakfast only at the house, but felt their was a need for better and more cookware. Many lightbulbs were either missing or burned out. A TV channel guide would have been helpful.

The house was very clean. Had a great stay. Had a small issue with back up in basement day before we left, but they were right on it with checking it out. Definitely would stay there again!

it was spacious and fun. we had a few questions during our stay and didn't get a text reply back. but it was not urgent so we figured it out for ourselves.

Nice quiet area playground next door is great for kids close to Arnolds Park everyone is considerate of kids

Despite the pipes backing up in the basement, it was a wonderful stay! The manager even said he’d reimburse us for a night because of it! I thought it was a charming home with a nice fire pit area and plenty of spaces to sit and visit. New pots and pans would make a great added bonus! Had a great time at this Vrbo.

GREAT location!! Loved the house and the host was great to work with!! Will definitely try to book it again next summer!

Enjoyed the stay, everything was clean and area quiet. Nice to be close to the bike path. Had a little problem with the door code but any easy fix. Will rent it again, nice to have a location not on the lake.

There is a playground close by the house. The house was clean and comfortable. The shower heads are all big and there seemed to be an endless supply of very hot water for all of our group to shower. There is a very nice public beach within a mile south of the house. Arnolds Park, go cart racing and miniature golf are quite close by to the north of the house. We found the location of the house to be very handy to all we wanted to do. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well! If we plan another vacation, to Okoboji Lake, we would definitely check to see if this house was available for us to rent again!
