The house and the view are great!! We enjoyed our stay and all the wildlife that the location offered was amazin! Waking up to the sun rising over the lake was gorgeous! My husband also loved fishing from the peir. The house was clean and the decor was beautiful. There were a few things that we didn't particularly care for - there were others staying in the guest house on property which was fine but all windows in this house are open and there are no window coverings. Therefore no privacy. Another thing was the shower in the master bath seemed to only have two settings: ice cold or scolding hot. Lastly, check in was a little unorganized as we did not receive the checkin code until asking for it (and calling VRBO) several times and it was finally received while on our flight there. Lastly, there is no washer and dryer as listed in the description. Again, we did love our stay and the house was beautiful just a few things to consider before arriving!!

This was a return visit, and just as wonderful as we remembered. The property is a such a gem- gorgeous, peaceful, and stocked with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The owner is super responsive and great to work with. Truly an excellent experience and highly recommend!

We stayed here for Christmas 2023. It was such a gorgeous home. Right on the lake, huge property, and a chicken coop with free eggs. The hosts were extremely responsive and so kind. Kitchen fully stocked and location close to everything.

The Farmhouse is a wonderful place to land in the middle of Tampa. A rare find….. it is so desirable with plenty of space, plus the lake with everything provided for fishing to kayaking. The house is wonderfully furnished and clean. I give an overall 5 stars and would love to stay there again. Just wish it had a washer/dryer and easier stair access. Still loved it! Really enjoyed our stay. It’s not as private as I thought. Lots of visitors/traffic to this secluded property, including guests (strangers to us), staying in the barn even though the listing indicates that isn’t an option. We were not aware of this until after we checked in and were already on the property. Aside from that, amazing location. Close to everything we needed in Tampa but were able to get the lake house feel. No window coverings on first floor. Host was very responsive to questions.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this amazing home! The property was spotless and welcoming upon arrival. Everything was as expected or better. The home is beautifully decorated and well-appointed with everything you need to cook, relax, and enjoy. The outdoor grounds are gorgeous and the kids loved exploring and running around. Owner was totally available and responsive to questions before and during our trip. This is one of the nicest properties I've stayed at and I hope to return. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Mag Farms! The house is welcoming and comfortable, and you can’t beat the sunset views of the lake! The property was perfect for letting the kids run around too. We hope to stay again soon :)

We had a great time here. The house has lots of light, the view of the lake is great and it's very charming at night with all the hanging lights outside. The owners were very helpful and courteous. There were some minor hiccups but they fixed them quickly. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough about this charming property. The house was perfect and fully stocked with everything we needed and the location couldn't have been more perfect for us (only 4 miles from my daughter's apartment). The house lies on a couple of acres, so it's very private. My kids had a blast with the paddleboards and kayaks. The owners were so nice and easy to work with. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Tampa.

Two Thumbs Up!
Perfect setting for a tranquil vacation. We stayed during the week before the 4th of July and we enjoyed fireworks over the water! The kitchen table is in a perfect location - you can fully see the outdoors while being in the comfort of the air conditioning! I wish we lived here!

Relax & Unwind and still close to attractions
This property is amazing! The host is very attentive and very friendly. We enjoyed watching sunsets each night just across the lake. Our kids couldn’t wait to fish on the dock each morning. We really loved our first family trip after my husband returned from his latest deployment.

Great lake vacation house!
We celebrated my mother in law's 70th birthday here with her family from Atlanta. We also rented the upstairs barn (OMG how beautifully renovated the barn is! Looks like Chip and Joanna Gaines were here!) What an incredible place to relax and re-connect with family. The Aunts/Uncles used the provided Kayaks to paddle in the lake. I brought my boat for lake tubing with the kids and docked it overnight during the stay (I personally live right down the road from this lake house). Plenty of outdoor space for entertaining/dinners/fire pit. Loved the chickens in the coop and scratching around the yard (owners even provided us with a few fresh eggs upon arrival!). Can't say enough great things!

Great Property
The property was great we loved using all of the amenities ( soccer, ping pong table, kayaks, fishing and more). We loved sitting outside enjoying the view of the lake. The house was nice. Only thing is the spiral stair case to get upstairs to the bedrooms was a bit narrow and hard for my elderly mother. We would definitely rent it again.

Beautiful property!
We stayed for 5 nights March 2022. The property is beautiful. Plenty of room, and in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The outdoor area is sooooo relaxing. Kids had plenty of room to play, and even took the kayaks out on the lake. If you need a place to get away and relax, try this one. You won't regret it. And the owners were awesome. Very easy to communicate with, and extremely nice!!!

Great property close to Tampa but quiet and relaxing
A very special property located on lake with abundant space to relax indoor and outside yet close to Tampa and other sites. Feels like you have gone back in time with elegant outdoor spaces and away from the daily cares of life. We used fire pit most nights and thoroughly enjoyed kayaks as well as ping pong and other outdoor fun. Our granddaughter loved being pushed around in pink car and visiting the chickens and hanging out on the dock. Host were very responsive and helpful with any needs. Hope to come back for a longer stay.

Lake Magdalene Paradise
This is an absolutely wonderful property! The house has lots of glass, balconies, and patios so there are views everywhere you look and nice reading spots. The dock is a perfect place for morning coffee and launching kayaks. Fresh eggs from the chickens and several acres to roam around on give it a rural feel while being close to amenities. The main house and lake front are shaded by large trees where we enjoyed bird watching and cool breezes. The house boasts a well appointed kitchen and is tastefully decorated. Being able to host a cookout and entertain our family at this magical place was the highlight !

Lake Magadalene
This is a beautiful property and location!! We visited in Feb. arrived around midnight with indoor temperature of 50. I recommend the owner consider turning heat on prior to guests arrival. And also provide written information about heat/ventilation, use of TV, kitchen items, washer/dryer and items that can be used in the barn. Owners were very prompt and helpful in response to questions.

Great Location for Reunion
This visit was my second stay at the Lake Mag Farmhouse property. The barn apartment was a great addition. Based on the first stay, I book the property with five of my friends and had our class reunion there on the Saturday that we were there. Everyone loved it. My classmates had only great comments on the location, space, yard, house, apartment, and amenities. I will certainly return if my Florida visit include a stay in the Tampa area.

Wonderful Stay
We spent five days in this beautiful farmhouse to get away from the Boston weather. It was wonderfully clean and private. There was an amazing amount of wildlife, particularly birds on the lake and the amount of land is truly impressive. Everything is modern and updated and we had no issues during our stay. The few questions we did have, the owner was immediately responsive. As a fisherman I was impressed by the number of kayak and canoe choices. I caught a lot of Largemouth Bass during the stay and it is a beautiful clean quiet lake with a lot of wildlife and very little boat traffic, The outdoor seating, including rocking chairs and dining table on the porch as well as hammocks in the yard and seats around the fire pit really helped to make it a magical place. I really hope to return.

The farmhouse is on a property that feels so peaceful, so grounding, calming and so beautiful. Wide water frontage, a large property dotted with trees. Squirrels and ducks and other water birds abound. Ahhh... serenity

Private Getaway
My family liked the lake house enormously. From the house to outdoor patios to dock and kayak/water boards, we all enjoyed ourselves. We couldn't believe the privacy and space.
Getting our suitcases up the spiral staircase was a bit difficult, but not unexpected. In the evening, downstairs noise (talking or TV) was an issue for anyone in the bunkbed room.
Our thanks to the owner for her responsiveness and answering our questions. We will definitely consider renting this property again for the family or an event using the open outdoor area.

Very private country home on lake
A great place to stay for our family group of 4 adults and 2 kids (2 & 5). The property itself is huge and very private, on a lake with a little pier, hammocks, chicken coop (fresh eggs!) and lots of room for the kids to burn off that energy. The house is clean and large. The kitchen is huge and very well stocked. All bedrooms are upstairs and the only negative I have is the somewhat rickety spiral staircase to the upper floor. It was a little tough for the kids to navigate and a little difficult to haul our luggage upstairs on. All in all a great property that would not hesitate to recommend or stay at again.

Much needed relaxation.
I cannot tell you how happy we were to find this home to rent. I was at the Moffit Cancer Center having two weeks of intense radiation and this home was a mere 12 minutes away and a paradise to return to at the end of each treatment each day. The lake views are beautiful and the home was lovely. The highlight of our trip is that there are chickens that live on the property. My husband and I playfully nicknamed them after the real housewives on bravo TV. We were able to try fresh eggs for the first time and we are addicted! This home was a beautiful distraction from an otherwise trying two weeks in Tampa. The owner was always available without being invasive. We would definitely rent this home again.

Great getaway!
My family and I had such a great time at the lake house! From the fishing, to the kayaks, eating the fresh eggs from the chickens, the nightly s’mores with the fire pit, the open land for the kids to run around, and my boys loved the bunk bed! The house is the perfect location too, tucked away to enjoy the quiet but close to downtown and other attractions. It was a great getaway for us and looking forward to our stay in the future! Owner is super responsive too! 😊

Best work trip ever!
We stayed at this lovely little lake house for a week for a work trip. The ambiance beats any other property we’ve visited! Adriana was super helpful and responsive, and even left a little cart of goodies on the counter and cold water in the refrigerator- so nice!! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. We’re just sorry that we were working and didn’t get to use the lake toys, although we did get the pleasure of watching a family of cranes (or herons?) feed in the yard one afternoon :)
