Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Check-in was fairly easy, though the resort gave us card keys for the garage that did not work when we first arrived and we had to exchange them for new ones. The rooms and overall condo was clean. The in-room safe was not accessible (something we did not know). There were two microwaves because the over the range one was installed too close to the wall to be fully assessable. However, the countertop one took up half of the precious little kitchen counter space that was available. The TV in the living room makes a horrible buzzing sound when playing a DVD. The living room is cramped and while we were ok with five people a larger group would be quite crowded. Communication was good with the owners and access to the beach was easy as well as to area attractions. The pillows on the beds are as flat as pancakes and should be replaced. The price was fair for the area but some upgrades should be made to make ones stay more comfortable.

The condo was absolutely wonderful, the views were spectacular and it was a blessing being able to have our family together enjoying sun and surf. It was a little difficult getting to the beach despite renting a beach wheelchair for my husband, who suffered a stroke leaving him paralyzed, there are no ramps onto the beach but we managed with help from other beach goers.

Attended a wedding in Pawleys Island. Wanted somewhere kids could have fun and we did not have to go anywhere but drive to the wedding . Stay was several days. Great service and fun activities.

The property was in good condition. The view was lovely.
Our family enjoyed the amenities. The alley many floors below was rather noisy--motor cycles, ice cream trucks daily for a few hours. Loud music in the lobby most of the time. The beach location was excellent and beautiful. Other guests who vacation there were friendly. Resort staff was friendly. We recommend this condo for many good reasons, just not if you are trying to find more quiet. The hosts were very kind and responsive. They have kept the condo in good condition.

We stayed in the south tower which is great for small children . Wonderful view, you can see ocean and looking West. Sunsets and watching weather come it. Starbucks and ice cream in the lobby. Had a wonderful time.

We had an amazing time at Dunes Village while staying in the penthouse. Everything was clean and we were well cared for. We were a group of 2 families and we felt we had an adequate amount of room. The amenities of the room were above and beyond. The resort was also a lot of fun for the children (ages 10-14). The beach was beautiful and clean as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Location was great. There was no shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, or coffee filters. Just little touches that have made other properties more comfortable. The location was great. We received an informative email from owner before our stay. Overall it was a positive experience.

My sister and I took our kids (5 total ages 4 - 9) during their school vacation week. The condo was clean with lots of space and a great view (especially the master bedroom). Our kids loved the indoor water parks and the beach was beautiful. The hosts left us detailed instructions including easy access to parking. If you are looking for a family friendly resort, add this condo to your list.

There were six of us. Three bedrooms and two baths were perfect. Love the balcony and all of the necessities are provided. We weren't at the condo very much, since the granddaughter was playing in the Winter Bump volleyball tournament. But the location was convenient to the sports complex, restaurants, etc. The amenities at Dunes are great for families, gross of friends etc, especially for kids, with the waterpark and group games. Elevator service was fabulous! Fast, clean, efficient and large enough for luggage racks and multiple people. Will consider returning with another family group at another time

- Condo was clean (a different cleaning person cleans unit vs what is leveraged by the resort). My family stayed at the resort condos and although nice, it was dirty. This condo through VBRO was a smarter option for cleanliness! I can not express how clean it felt!
- We didn't use all bedrooms as all 3 kids loved sleeping in the living space
- Restaurants in the area were rather amazing! (Ciao , Hook and Barrel)
- Kids loved Sugar Life closeby and Boardwalk at the Beach (Sugar candy store and made wax hands)
- Kids also enjoyed miniature golf
- It was high 50's when we went after Christmas and we enjoyed walks on the beach, meeting locals walking their dogs and shelling.
- We felt safe here, walking around, parking in the garage
- Marian was available for any questions we had
- Unit is well stocked, I had brought paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher tabs and dish soap and it was innthe condo, which I so appreciated! I know this is a hot topic within VBROs and this condo nailed it!
Would we go back? Yes absolutely! We love Myrtle Beach and would love to stay at this specific condo in the future.

This was perfect for our family. We have two girls that enjoyed spending time at the water park and taking the short walk to the beach to play in the sand. Everything was convenient and I liked the gated parking garage that was included with the stay.

We had a fantastic long weekend stay in the penthouse! Spacious and clean condo, was fantastic for our long weekend stay. Convenient location for off site activities. We had a great time at the waterparks. Staff was super nice.

We needed to stay only one night and accommodate a large group, place was perfect for that. Great communication once secured rental, quick to reply. Place was great as was amenities able to have access too, including indoor water park, games. First experience with VRBO also and will definitely use again due to this stay.

Couldn't be more pleased! There were items we could have used for the beach although we brought our own wonderful option to have. We brought beach towels but didn't need any. They supplied towels for the room and walking back from the beach or water park we were able to use towels from the water park to dry off quickly. Short drive to grocery stores so we didn't have to worry about going out anywhere and enjoyed our stay at the village and beach. I will be posting business cards locally.

I choose this spot for my family of 8 and we had a blast. The beach was a couple steps away. Activities outside of the resort were 5-10 minutes. Everyone slept in their own beds. It was a great experience. Will definitely stay here again!

Our family stayed in this unit for the 4th of July week. The unit was in excellent condition. The beds were comfortable, the side view of the ocean was good as well as the view of the lazy river below. The hotel was clean. The elevators were fast, which was a plus since you are on the 14th floor. You have access to the amenities at both towers. The tower we were at had smaller slides for smaller kids. The other tower had larger and faster slides for older kids. One lazy river is lengthy and indoors. The other is smaller and outside. Our room came with beach chairs and an umbrella. Kid toys such as footballs and beach toys. Ice maker right outside the door. The parking, although is across the street, was excellent in that you always had parking. Some hotels you have to stress about finding a place to park, not here. The communications with the owners was excellent and fast. We would l highly recommend this 14th floor 3 bedroom unit. We will be back.

We had our family of 9 including 3 children under 7 and there was so much for them to do just at the resort! Very clean and everyone was friendly! Will definitely be back!

A wonderful place to stay! From the immaculate room, to the beautiful view, to the easy check-in and out process, to all of the conveniences that are included in your stay! All communication with the property managers were also wonderful! Highly recommend.

Property was typical condo property, but amenities were terrific for kiddos, and the unit had everything you need at all he beach. Loved having a pantry.

This was a great find! The property owners were super communicative when we accidentally made an error in booking and helped us correct it without issue. The location is very close to everything but without being too crowded. The condo was clean and comfortable. The building had access to two water parks for kids, restaurants, a sundries store and a fitness room with up to date equipment. There was a lot for our kids to do, with ping pong tables and pool tables downstairs, the beach out front with a sand volleyball court, a playground and cornhole. We were there during Spring break so it was a little to cold to get in the ocean but the sand was gorgeous and there were a lot of shells to collect. I can imagine that during busy season it *could* get busy in the water parks but it was just fine when we were there. There was covered parking right across the street and the checking process was pretty easy. I would definitely return. Thanks for sharing your condo with our family!

Great view, and enough room for 4 adults and 4 kids (ages 5, 2, 1 and 8 months). Appliances are a bit outdated but once we got used to them, it wasn’t a vacation ruiner.
Property owners are wonderful! We forgot a toy bin and they found it and mailed it to us within 2 days.
Beach is right outside the door which the kids loved. Water park was also a hit.
Would stay again.
