Charming apartment in the heart of beautiful Aix-en-Provence. Everything you want to see is steps away! We enjoyed having a home base where we were able to retreat from the bustle and look out over the rooftops.

The location was perfect - just step out your door to enjoy restaurants and shopping and a quick walk to Cours Mirabeau. Our host was very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our hosts, Fanny and Jean were warm and very hospitable. They provided us with information about things to do and recommendations on restaurants. The apartment is in the heart of old Aix with a short walk to all the city has to offer. The kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation if that’s what you desire.
We highly recommend staying here for a totally enjoyable stay in Aix.

Comfortable, relaxing accommodation within walking distance of historic sites. Excellent for long or short term stays. Host, Fanny, personally met us upon arrival and provided additional home comforts for our stay. Highly recommended.

Fanny's apartment in Aix-en-Provence is great in all ways. A super location in a great town, very clean and comfortable. Everything you need is present. It's in the middle of a lively town, but that's right where we wanted to be. Most importantly, Fanny is kind and delightful and made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommended!

I have only positive comments for Fanny and for this experience. My teenage granddaughter and I felt secure and very comfortable. Fanny and Jean were very helpful and truly cared for our well-being. Their cheerful hospitality added to the positive experience. We looked forward to the comfort of home after each exciting day in Aix. Yes, I want to go back.

The check-in process was smooth and apartment location were fantastic. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of rose, which we found so welcoming after a long travel day! We were able to walk everywhere within the city and even a bit outside for dinners at various hotel properties around the city. The apartment was nearby to convenience stores, making it easy for us to pick up provisions throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our stay was timed with some warm weather and one of the oscillating fans was not working. It cooled off nicely at night, but the Rugby World Cup was going on in Marseille and the partying in the streets of Aix regrettably prevented us from sleeping with the windows open. Lastly, the apartment seems to adjoin another unit and it did not appear to be locked? For peace of mind, it would have been comforting had a locking mechanism been visible from our side of the door. Am not sure what was beyond that door, but we found it a bit unsettling. Overall it was a nice stay even though it was noisy, and we appreciated the communication with the host throughout our time in Aix.

This was an outstanding condo at a very reasonable price. I enjoyed a seven night stay with my son. The location is perfect close to all the markets and restaurants. There is a grocery store near by as well as countless fruit and vegetable stands in addition to the market. The condo is close to the Gare train station, bus, and tourist information office. The condo was air conditioned which was much appreciated during the heat wave when we stayed. The inside of the condo is lovely, well stocked, dishwasher and washing machine, games, and everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. It is tastefully decorated with local art and nice furniture and a comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay immensely and will definitely book this place again when we return. Communication with host was excellent and, she got back to us with questions immediately. Wonderful stay in a beautiful city!

Spending 30 days in Provence was a needed escape for launching into my Chapter Two and using Fanny’s apartment as a home base was the best decision.
Quaint, clean, comfortable,centrally located, this property became my refuge, my home. Aix is a walking city and Fanny’s apartment is within walking distance to the city center, shoppes, markets, restaurants, and the regional bus that takes you to the TGV, Marseille airport, or into other towns and cities.
I loved my time in Aix and Provence, and in this well equipped apartment, and hope one day to return.

This comfortable, clean and secure apartment is ideally located in the centre of Aix and is thoughtfully fitted out with everything you need including a washing machine. Our host Fanny is charming and always prompt and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

I came to spend a couple of days with my daughter who was finishing up a semester abroad, this apartment was perfect, central to the town but was quiet, so relaxing. Loved my time there.

This place is wonderful. Bright and airy and easy to walk to everything you want to experience in Aix. The street at night is a bit noisy but overall a great place and would stay here again!

It was ideal for just me but plenty of room for a 2nd traveler. 3 minutes tops from Hotel de Ville. Had everything I needed to cook my breakfast (including coffee choices) and one of my dinners. Consider a small flashlight as the steps are very dark at night.

This was amazing! In the centre of old downtown Aix, we enjoyed our easter holiday. The apartment was quite at night, everything needed was there. Thank you, Fanny, for your warm welcome, with coffee, wine and water. But check out, if you are not healthy. There is a narrow stepway up to the second floor - no lift. We loved to be there, and enjoyed our time. Best regards Adriana and Matthias

This was an excellent location for our stay in Aix. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoyed shopping at the markets, which were very close by. Fanny communicated with us leading up to our stay to make sure our stay would be enjoyable. We recommend this apartment if you are looking to stay in Aix.

We were fortunate enough to stay an entire month and Fanny's apartment was the perfect home for us in Aix-en-Provence. The location could not be more ideal. Right in the middle of the old town and a lively neighborhood. Markets for almost all your needs and walkable stores for everything else.
Public transportation is accessible. Fanny and her husband are charming and kind hosts. The "liveliness" can sometimes translate into nighttime street noise - otherwise everything was perfect.

We had an enjoyable stay at Fanny's place in Aix.
Communication with her was excellent.
As we rented a car, and it was our first time driving in France, we had trouble navigating through the very narrow streets.
We were fine once we figured it out.
We paid for secure parking 5 minutes away as stated.
The area is safe at night.
It took us a bit of time to find the apartment as we had to get acquainted with our surroundings.
A very nice young lady met us and showed us around the apartment.
Upon arrival cold water and rose awaited us in the fridge:) (Merci)

And had all amenities.
There was a heat wave when we were travelling, and so we were grateful that there was air conditioning and 2 fans.
Aix is actually alot bigger then I thought, and there was lots to see just in Aix. We were also very close to the Chateaus in and around the area.
Lots to see in the area, and I wish we had spent more time here. 3 nights was not enough.
There are plenty of restaurants here that service delicious food.
Remember that on Sundays in France lots of places are closed including restaurants.
I would definately stay at Fanny's again.

We were delighted by how lovely the location and the appartment are. We felt like we were living for a few days in a painting of Cezanne himself. Transportable Air conditioning unit made it really pleasant.Anything you could need was intelligently located in the studio and there were wonderful booklets of information on practical information about the city provided by the owner. We were very kindly welcomed upon arrival and quick communication was outstanding. Thank you Fanny and Sonia!, we'll never forget these wonderful few days in Aix.

Love Aix-en-Provence
Apartment is located in the very center of town surrounded by a thousand restaurants and historical sites.
Pros:
- very cute apartment which had almost everything needed to feel you comfortable and it’s 5 min from every attraction, all the main site of this gorgeous town
-host is very nice, very responsive and thought of everything you may need
Cons:
- very narrow and tall staircase of two flights of stairs leading to the 2nd floor apartment, making it very difficult to bring up heavy luggage (we ended up packing it in the hallway to make it easier);
-it was very hot outside and opening windows us only possible during the day, since those many restaurants make a lot of noise until 2-3am. However, two fans make it better, though they are quite loud

This is a great place to stay! It is centrally located and you can walk everywhere. Fanny is an outstanding host who sees that your stay runs well. We stayed two weeks and recommend this charming apartment for your visit to Aix.

A great hide-away
The location, clean and well-organized space, attention to details and friendly, helpful hostess made for a very pleasant stay. There is so much to do in this beautiful town! Our favorite excursions were to Cezanne's Atelier, as well as exploring different areas of Aix via The Steps of Cezanne. The Granet museum was also a nice way to spend the afternoon. These were all within walking distance of the apartment. The parking garage is about a 10 minute walk (the closest is about 20 euros/day) and the steps up to the apartment can be a challenge with lots of luggage. But the trade-off is being right in the heart of Aix-en-Provence with all the conveniences of home.

Wonderful location
We loved this apartment! It is a walk up, so be prepared, but Fannie helped us with luggage. The bed is comfortable. There is all you need in the kitchen. There is a boulangerie and daily food market in easy walking distance I was the perfect place for us. Andweapprrciated the bottle of regional Rose in the fridge!😊

Hope there's still time for this review to get posted -- this apartment was perfect! Location was fabulous, hosts were friendly and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. Just need to be able to climb stairs, but it's so worth it.

Central accommodation
Fanny was so helpful when we got lost attempting to get to the apartment. Once there it is in an excellent location, close to Tourist office , bars and restaurants

Lovely apartment
This apartment is light, bright and roomy. It does require carrying bags up a couple flights, but is well worth the effort. It is steps away from restaurants, wine & cheese shops, other shopping in all directions. It's easy to get turned around in the quaint, winding streets but that's part of the fun and charm. We would have liked to have BBC World as a channel option, but that's the only suggestion I can make.

Beautiful Aix
We were greeted by Remy, friend of host. He reviewed everything in the apartment and recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner. The apartment was very comfortable and tastefully decorated with all the amenities needed for our 4-day stay. Highly recommend the daily farmers market in the square by the apartment - about a 3 minute walk! Perfect produce and fish! Plus a great place for breakfast with all of the quaint eateries on the square.

Very convenient and well-appointed apartment
Beautiful apartment with perfect location in the old city center (vieux centre ville), convenient to museums, open-air markets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Has a well-equipped kitchen, artfully arranged space, and comfortable bed. The owners are interesting and gracious hosts. Highly recommended!

Lovely week in Aix
Very good central location in the old town.
On second floor via interior steps so nicely above bustle and activity of the street.
Property is very nicely decorated and well equipped for the stay.
Comfortable lounge with TV and WiFi.
Good tourist information.
Kitchen and bathroom work well and have everything you need.
This is a great place to stay for a week in Aix.
We were also able to travel to Cassis on the south coast which is beautiful. The train journey via Marseille is easy (25 euros).
Can also hire electric bikes at Le Tholonet from Stationbees. Very good fun.
Would love to visit again.

Fanny’s Lovely apartment
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fanny’s apartment in the most centrally located part of Aix en Provence. The apartment is lovely and provided for all our needs and if we needed a rest during the day it was very easy to go home for a short rest. We will stay there again when next in Aix en Provence.

Beautiful city, perfect apartment
My husband and I loved exploring Aix from Fanny’s lovely apartment in this clean and convenient building. Fanny was easy to work with, and her in-person introduction and the written material she left in the apartment gave us all we needed to find our way around, to amuse ourselves and to eat well.
We were especially appreciative of the beautiful artwork, the well-equipped kitchen, and the easy to operate washing machine. We would happily stay here again, and will recommend it to friends.

Le Félibe, A Wonderful place for a sojourn in Aix!
My husband and I spent 19 wonderful days in March at Le Félibre, located in the pedestrian area of the heart of old Aix-en-Provence. It was a terrific spot. Almost daily street markets a stroll away. At least 100 restaurants (no kidding) with many types of food within easy walking distance. Fanny and Jean were excellent, helpful, warm and welcoming hosts with great suggestions for us tailored to our interests. The attractive apartment is well set up to function for a couple. It is as pictured, but what you can't know via photo is that the bed is excellent, the shower is great, the water tastes good. We really appreciated the dishwasher, clothes washer, and strong secure Internet connection. You do have to be able to walk up and down two flights of narrow stairs, but we considered that good exercise. We would definitely recommend this place to others and will go back ourselves if we ever get the chance.
