Our family stayed in March for two wonderful weeks and created such great memories. Very clean, resourceful and so comfortable. The views are amazing from everywhere and the outdoor lanai and decking was just perfect. Sunsets were breathtaking. Owners take such pride and very helpful with anything needed during our stay. This was our second stay at this house and once again, it was perfect. Steps to the beautiful beach and we were able to watch dolphins and sunsets from the deck. We loved the new additions to the deck area. Great spaces for breakfast, dinner and cocktails. Clean, easy check-in and very responsive hosts. Definitely recommend and we will be back!

I cannot say enough about this amazing property. The house was immaculate and very well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The white sandy beach was steps away but we spent most of our day on the incredibly large and comfortable deck. The pictures on line do not do it justice. Paul and Christine checked in with us a few times to make sure we were comfortable and to see if there was anything we needed. We hope to get back here again soon!

We had a great week on FMB in this beautiful home. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was very well appointed. We appreciated the very well stocked spice cupboard and ready coffee supplies. The view of the gulf and easy beach access topped off the week. Our hosts checked in periodically to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our stay at Cardinal Island was such a wonderful get-away! The home is clean, bright, and lovely, and literally just steps to the beach! There is deck space with plenty of seating and a nice eating area to enjoy your morning coffee, share a meal, or watch the amazing sunsets. We had everything we needed for the week to cook, grill out, do laundry, and relax on the beach. Comfy beds for restful nights! Excellent communication with the owners! We hope to stay here again!

Spend much need time with family. We had the perfect accommodations for 3 couples with the each getting a bedroom and a bath. The kitchen had most of all we needed and the view from the balcony was fabulous (unfortunately due to the houses in line are missing from Ian). We enjoyed dolphin & bird watching and plenty of shells for all!! Can't wait to come back!!

Everything was perfect from booking to check out. The view is to die for! The pictures are accurate only it is even more beautiful than the photos. We slept with the master bedroom with the blinds open so I could wake up to see the white sand beach! There are two decks you could sit on. And the house is on the beach... Fabulous! The house was immaculate and well appointed, it had everything we needed for our stay. The host was very communicative and answered our questions promptly. Our family absolutely loved our stay at this property! Steps away from the beach with fantastic views of the ocean from both decks. We enjoyed incredible sunsets from either the deck or the beach every night. The house is so welcoming and comfortable. The owners have thought of everything you will need for an easy, relaxing stay. Communication with them was awesome! We would definitely book this property again if we return to Fort Myers.

Great place to spend sometime close to the beach. Owners are very accommodating and quick to answer any questions or help with anything you may need. Recommend for a family with children or even an adult getaway.

We stayed a week at Cardinal Island House and absolutely loved out stay here. Beautiful 2 story home sits about 50 yards from the water. The pictures are great but the house is so much more. Communication with Paul & Christine was fabulous. They are truly great hosts. Each bedroom has its own en suite which was great. Plenty of room to spread out and have your own space but still gather together for family time. Gorgeous views of the gulf and from both decks. You can even watch the sunset from your Master Bedroom deck or right from your bed if you like. there is also Jet ski, Parasailing, SUP, Beach chair and umbrella rentals just a few yards walking South on the beach. This is at the top of our list of rentals that we have stayed at and would definitely love to come back in the future.

The house is amazing; every beach town needs a house like this! It has everything you need. We were especially impressed with the quality of the dishes and cookware. It is a very short walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay and the owners were easy to work with!

We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and located literally just steps from the beach - our doggos loved the beach. The location was good at mid-island away from the busy traffic hub. We were impressed with Paul - towards the end of our stay a tropical disturbance was closing in and Paul regularly checked in on us to make sure all was well. We appreciated his concern. A good experience this property is on our list to re-book.

This property is exactly as described! Beautiful views from both decks! Easy walk to beach. Easy to go and come from beach to house. Shower available to rinse off before going inside. Highly recommend this house. Loved the privacy and will definitely book here again. Owners were very quick to respond and we were even able to check in a little early!!!

Rain all week before we arrived resulted in the gulf water on the beach being quite dirty. Nothing to with the ex property or owners.

Cleanliness rating is zero stars Location rating is five stars Check out rating is zero stars It was 9am and the maid dumped out a bag of shells my daughter and I gathered all week! Pathetic! To pay that much and you don't even have a check out time until 10am like stated. My bedroom was the master bedroom. I pulled the sheets down to see a couple long black hairs strung along in the bed. Had to strip the bed to wash everything the first day. Not ideal. I didn't check the other beds as I wasn't sleeping in them. My toilet still had feces stuck around the bowl. Shower corners had gunk in them. Dishwasher dishes were still dirty because the dishwasher doesn't get them clean. dishes and pots and pans inside cabinets were dirty. Had to rewash everything before using. Kitchen cabinets inside and out probably haven't been cleaned or disinfected in a year. Did not feel comfortable walking around or showering without sandals on. The rugs throughout the house had sand in them. We got both vacuums out to clean up and both did not stuck anything up. Not enough white bath towels and rags for 7 people so we had to do laundry often. Towels still left in dryer when arrived Grill was dirty Sheets were dirty. Rugs were dirty House did not have a good smell to it Everything felt grimy Trash still in cans when we arrived. One extra roll of tp for entire house when there wasn't even a new roll left on. What really did it for me was at 9am on our check out day (Saturday) the maid was already downstairs moving our stuff around. We were getting our stuff organized to be put in the car as I walked downstairs to gather our stuff we left outside on the bottom deck. The maid was already moving our stuff around. She dumped out a ziplock bag of shells my daughter and I had been collecting all week. Completely livid. Completely disrespectful to touch other people's stuff! Memories with my 5 year old gone. Then the maid tried to grab a bag of dirty clothes I had set by our car to load up. I had to tell her those are my clothes when when says is this trash and she picks it up to take it and she drops them. Wow! Still not even 930am she starts taking her stuff up stairs as we are trying to get our bags out. You do not go inside when we aren't completely checked out yet. We have until 10am! Absolutely do not recommend! Unless you want a dirty house and someone to start moving your stuff around before check out and trying to throw your stuff away!

Wonderful place. Able to walk to the beach without having to cross a street and only a 2 min walk to the water. Great sunset views and can see the water from the both decks and the main living area of the home. Perfect main bedroom/bathroom that has a great view and is extremely comfortable. Also very close to grocery store and pharmacy. Would come here again for sure.

Our stay was amazing and the house had everything we needed. The house was clean and ready for our arrival, including a bouquet of fresh flowers! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and has everything you need to cook. The view and location can not be beat. Amazing coffee and cocktail views of dolphins and sunsets. Lots of shells and plenty of beach chairs and tables. The hosts were quick to answer any questions we had. It is a 10 min walk to Publix. This is the perfect house for a beach retreat! We would definitely stay again!

We spent a week in Fort Myers Beach and had a great time! This house has everything you need to have a great time at the beach! Beach is less 250 steps to the beach and the views from the main/upper decks are great!! House is very close to Publix which is a bonus bc traffic on the island can get messy. The internet speed (DSL) was a little slow but it served it purpose for our needs. If we head back to FMB we will be sure to rent this house again!

The owners have combined quality amenities with the feeling of home. Everything is clean, looks, smells and feels good. I swear the master bed is more comfortable than the new one we have at home. Due to dietary restrictions we prepare at least 2 meals a day. The food store is close enough that we biked there as often as we drove as were the two farmers markets. The home is fully stocked with plenty of cookware and utensils. You don't feel like you are in a rental. because of the high quality of the furnishings and supplies. It is obvious that this family takes pride in providing a great property. They are easy to reach and have taken the time to make personal suggestions on where to rent bikes, activities to do, and places to find specialty items. You can see and hear the ocean from the house. The beach begins about 30' from the porch, no need to put on shoes or cross a street! Just mosey down a private path at the end of the driveway.

Hate to give this review bc then everyone will want to stay! The house is a perfect getaway with or without guests. If you do have guests, everyone is comfortable with their own en-suite bathroom access. Nice updates, comfortable furniture, great location on the island. We definitely will ask to rent again!

The pictures are accurate, the house is clean and nicely decorated and the beach is just a few steps away! We enjoyed sitting on the decks throughout our stay, even at night relaxing under the stars and listening to the ocean. Staying mid-island ensured it was quiet and we loved Bayfront Bistro for dinner especially because we didn’t have to sit in traffic like you do if you go to the north island any time near sunset. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent communication with owners. Property was perfect for my family. We had three separate bedrooms with bathrooms. It had two lovely decks, one covered and one for sitting out in sun or watching beautiful sunsets. It was right on the beach. It included chairs we could take to the beach as well as a tent to sit out of sun but still enjoy the beach. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

The house was sparkling clean, spacious for 3 couples, kitchen had everything needed for meal prep, including a large griddle, baking dishes. Comfortable beds, appreciated the washer/dryer in unit too. Located in a nice area close to grocery store, and steps from beautiful beach!

The house was perfect with beach access right out the door! There were plenty of beach chairs and toys. House furnishings were comfortable and family friendly. I would definitely consider renting the property again.

We stayed at the property with three generations. It was a great house with lots of room to spread out and the location to the beach was great. We enjoyed our stay.
