We have rented many condos from HomeAway, VRBO and such, but this was by far the most seamless, organized and customer service forward experience we have had. Billie and staff at Rent on Padre were extremely helpful and provided us with all the information we needed for a Perfect stay! Now - as far as the condo goes, it was really lovely. The parking lot is gated but we never had to wait to enter. We were always able to park very near to the building. The elevator was a real plus, as the condo was located on the top floor. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. The grounds, common building areas, pool areas (there are 3 lovely pools! And a little Tiki Bar.), boardwalk to the beach, etc were all perfectly clean at all times. Great staff! Swimming in the pool was great - and long walks on the beautiful beach were a real plus!The unit itself was phenomenal. Perfectly sized kitchen with everything needed. A large dining table area and stools by the counter provided lots of places to sit and enjoy a meal. The living room was comfortable and had a large easy to operate television. Each of the two bathrooms were perfectly appointed. The master bedroom was comfortable and had a great mattress. Also another TV for night viewing in bed. The second bedroom had a tv as well. Two bunk beds and a double bed. Each bedroom had a large closet which was great! The best part of the condo, though was the massive Lanai! It is facing the water and every morning we were treated to a beautiful sunrise. Hours of sitting on the covered lanai gazing at the water was all I needed to relax. Anyways, you get the picture! It was perfect and beautiful. I hope we can go back soon!

Only issue we had was dishes were dirty when we arrived and after dishwashing there was I think soap residue on the plates & bowls.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. Very clean and beautiful. The amazing balcony and view couldn’t be beat! We called and asked if we could check in a little early and they were very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone!

This is a very spacious condo. The view was really exceptional. The condo doesn’t have any beach gear or a washer and dryer. But it had everything else. And there is a washer and dryer on the premises.

The balcony is large and has a great view of the ocean. It's on the top floor so no neighbors above, so it's pretty quiet. The location is fantastic. There are many good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. You can walk out to the beach. Great ammenities. If you bring your dog with you there is an area for the dogs with dog waste bags. The only complaints I have is that there are no instructions for the entertainment system. I could only get the TV to work. I was unable to get the DVD to work. Additionally there were quite a few sugar ants in the kitchen area. You can't leave any food crumbs anywhere or the ants will be all over everything.

The gated parking along with security constantly walking around was very reassuring. They were also very helpful. From the parking to the room, we enjoy every bit of it. Pool was great, beach was GREAT, the few was AMAZING! Do yourself a favor and book it! Just do it!

The condo was great and has beautiful ocean front views. Arriving was easy, we just punched in the code and that was it. No keys or cards involved. We wished they would have put a sponge to wash diches (we had to buy our own). Further, there was no bathroom soap or shampoo. Other than that, internet and cable TV worked great, and we appreciated the beach chairs made available as well.

This property is very nice and has an amazing view!!! My family and I truly enjoyed our stay in this condo. The small appliances could use an update, but that is the only thing I can even think of that was anything less then perfect. I will definitely consider this property again for next year.

The condo is in a great location! Well maintained but also has some aging. Be careful when using the hooks on the balcony to hang beach towels….the hooks left rust stains on all of our beach towels. The pools and beach are easy to access. We enjoyed our week!

Condo was everything and more of what I expected, my Family and I were in love with our view every morning and afternoon. I could see my children playing in the beach or downstairs with the ball, I could be looking at them when they were in the pool. everything was perfect and amazing. Kitchen was fully equipped, Check in was fast and convenient, plenty of room for all my family. TV and cable was great and WIFI was fast. We loved everything, about our stay cant wait to go back soon. Melissa the property manager was amazing to communicate and very accessible at all times.

It was on the 6th floor and faced the beach which was very nice.In the photos for the condo it showed nice furniture and when we showed up there was a double recliner that was very old. A mechanism inside the chair was broken as we arrived. It was hard to sit comfortably in the chair.In the guest bathroom I actually fixed the aerator for the sink. I unscrewed and found mineral deposits blocking water flow. It worked better but the problem still need to be addressed. Also, the exhaust fan in this bathroom was squeaking loudly half of the time.In the master bathroom the toilet tank float valve broke and was running constantly. We shut off the valve to save the owner on their water bill and used the guest toilet.On the arrival instruction sheet it was noted that the gate code was 842. We just assumed it was the front drive in security gate because it was right after going through the front gate. They should have said: "The beach access gate code is 842" and that would have helped as we were locked out and someone from the pool had to come over and help us.Also, in the kitchen on the counter we found ants which tried to get into our food....Overall, the condo is a great place but the Management of said condo can do a better job of managing the staying experience.
