We loved the property. It more than met our expectations. Some how I missed the line abkut the private man made salt water lagoon (no alligators or scarey fish) which stretched across the property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo. Everyone we met on our morning walks was super friendly. This property has so much to offer and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in Key Largo.

Nice property, cleaned and very well decorated. Great amenities around if you travel with little kids (small kayaks, kids pool, etc). Our kids are 19 and 17 so not as much there for them to do but we enjoyed the tennis and pickleball court.
The kitchen appliances would need some upgrades. We had a couple of rainy days and attempted to do some cooking and couldn't make a decent omelet with the pans available.
Overall, we had a nice stay.

This is our second time at Kawama, and we love staying in this particular property. It is always clean and comfortable. We love the lagoon, the fish, the pools, the screened in porch, as the mosquitoes can be bad in the Keys. The property is nicely decorated, bright, and beachy. The only thing we really missed was the golf cart that was available last year. I hope another one becomes available in the future. Adult size kayaks would be amazing, too, as our preteen has outgrown the child size ones, and we would like casual access to them as well. Rentals are available for both nearby, but we couldn’t justify the additional cost for occasional use.

Gorgeous home, great little community. We wanted a very laid back vacation, somewhere we could go and not have to travel much. This was perfect. The community had plenty to entertain my teenagers and small children. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. We felt very much at home!

We had such a great time during our stay at the Kawama! Such a fun location for our family of 5. We loved kayaking and swimming in the lagoon, swimming in all the pools, taking golf cart rides out to the jetty and we enjoyed playing various racquet sports on the tennis courts.
We also loved all the nearby restaurants and activities. We were busy in a good way the whole time we were there.
The townhome itself was great! I LOVED the decor of it and it was perfectly appointed with everything we needed. We absolutely would come back!

We absolutely loved our experience staying at this property! Diana was very easy to contact and prompt at responding with any questions we had. The place was clean and beautiful!! We loved the lagoon and our kids really enjoyed using the kayaks and sand toys. The neighbors were all very friendly. We will definitely be back!!

We loved the location. It was nice to swim between the the docks in the lagoon, walking around the point and just sitting outside enjoying the view.
Kitchen needs help, no dishwasher which stinks for traveling parents especially since water pressure is lower. Maybe put a huge stack of paper plates in one of the cabinets,. The neighborhood also needs better trash removal, taking it to the dumpsters is extra stinky and gross!
Beds were very comfortable, useful to have laundry machine.
I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a central spot to unwind after days snorkeling & scuba diving And if you go stop by the Dolphin place up the street and splurge on the activities like painting with them, it’ll be worth it.

It was a cute place to stay for a weekend getaway. It had all of the amenities & was close to pretty much everything. The only complaint I have is there was no access to a beach within walking distance. But you have 2 pools & the salt water lagoon.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Key Largo - it’s a bit off the beaten track and offered a peaceful vacation. The property is clean, well kept, comfortable, modern, quiet, and equipped with everything you might need. The lagoon is lovely - my son and I enjoyed the little beach and checking out the fish. Pools are clean. The golf cart is a nice feature - it’s not absolutely necessary but it makes moving around faster. The child size kayaks were fun - would love an adult size one in the future. We will definitely be back. I loved this place.

Property is as advertised. We enjoyed swimming in the lagoon. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate to see a great sunset but it was nice going out on the pier. Golf cart was appreciated

We enjoyed the location! The golf cart didn’t work for our entire stay (wouldn’t charge) & the water pressure was awful. As a girl with long hair that was a HUGE bummer! Other than that we really enjoyed this place. All the neighbors are great & friendly.

Great relaxing place to stay
I had no idea what to expect of Kawama, so I was happy that it turned out to be a low-key, family place that was perfect for us. Loved the security of it, the two pools, the many fish in the lagoon, the areas where our extended family could meet, and the convenience of the location. Diana was a great host.

Unique Property
The lagoon is beautiful with many different colorful fish to show the kiddos. The jetty is great to watch a sunset and have a cocktail. They have a fishing pole that worked excellent as well.

Neat little community
The location is not at all what we thought it was but that was just Key Largo itself. There are indeed no beaches near by to swim but there are two pools in the complex as well as the lagoon that you are able to swim in. When going on a vacation we are used to the hustle and bustle of going to different shops and while those were around, I truly enjoyed having nothing to do but relax, especially at the Jetty. The lagoon is great! It's sits peacefully in the middle of the complex with many different fish and iguanas that were nice to search for. The home itself was very nice, warm and welcoming. I did have issues with the hot water when turning the knob all the way up but when put in the middle, it worked perfectly. It was very clean and very well decorated. The host left a great list of things to do around the area as well as some great restaurants to check out. I personally would definitely rent from her and her beautiful family again. It was our first time in the keys and your home made us feel very welcome and we thank you for that.

We greatly appreciated the cleanliness, the updating on the inside & the golf cart! Disappointed that we could not get warm water for a shower & frustrated that there was no hot water in the kitchen to do dishes. We ran out of silver ware. We were unable to control the thermostat, so we were cold.

Diana's place is well decorated and comfortable, and the apartment looks right onto a lagoon. We enjoyed eating on the porch and going to the pool.
We had thought we could swim in the lagoon, but the water looked dirty and no one was swimming in it. There also isn't a swimmable beach nearby.
Overall, Diana was very communicative and fast to respond but we did have some hiccups checking in. I also wish she had provided more instructions in the house like how to turn on the golf cart (which we didn't figure out), how to adjust the AC, or where to take out trash. Normally owners provide more detailed instructions.

The unit was really decorated cute. We enjoyed use of the golf cart and the snorkels provided in unit. The grounds were nice and our kids loved the iguanas. Excellent communication from owner which was appreciated. The negatives would be the lack of a dishwasher, which we didn't notice when we booked. Also some of the amenities need an upgrade, Spare bedroom mattress seemed old, no support and sheets and pillows in that room need replaced. Also time for new dishes. At least half of them were chipped or cracked. We did enjoy our stay though.
