Mountain View! 4 BR 2 BA Sleeps 12 Raystown Lake Boat Parking 45 min to PSU!
Costruito nel 2016 !! Chalet a Snyder's Run è una casa in stile chalet 4 camere da letto situato su 20 acri (facilmente accessibile, un sacco di spazio per il parcheggio in barca). 1 1/2 miglia da Snyder's Run Boat Launch. Questa casa vacanze ha tutti i comfort di casa! Grande cucina completamente attrezzata con elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile; AC centrale con diversi ventilatori a soffitto. Il loft ha 2 traversine del sedile dell'amore e si affaccia sulla grande sala. Forniamo cuscini, coperte e trapunte. Non sono fornite altre lenzuola. C'è una grande TV satellitare con schermo piatto collegato con lettore DVD con WiFi limitato. Camera da letto principale ha un 32 "TV a schermo piatto. 4a camera da letto ha una tv e lettore DVD. Seminterrato incompiuto ha tavolo da biliardo, buco di mais e air hockey. Portico coperto (8 'x 50') e ampio ponte spazioso (14 'x 50 ") che si affaccia sul torrente e boschi. Anello antincendio all'aperto adiacente al torrente e al ponte posteriore. Un sacco di spazio per il parcheggio della barca. Solo 45 minuti da State College ... ottimo posto dove stare dopo aver partecipato ad un gioco PSU Home !! 5-7 minuti dal Juniata College !! 15-17 minuti dalla spiaggia di Seven Points !!

Thanks for the stay at your beautiful place. We found the location to be most convenient for us ,just minutes to Snyder Run boat launch, and minutes to a cove where we spent most of our time in the water. The spacious parking area was nice for our several vehicles and the boat and trailer. The layout of your house is very nice for our family ,however, a second floor bathroom would be nice. The deck is a nice place to spend time with nice seating and eating areas but it could have been a bit cleaner ( a few minutes with a hose) and the patio area outside of the basement could have used a good cleaning as well. The railing around the whole deck made it nice to let the toddlers just run around but the lack of an exit to the ground/ lower level makes it inconvenient to access the fire pit or lower level ,having to go through the house.
The kitchen was well prepared and had pretty much all the necessities to enjoy eating there. It is super nice to use water from the tap to drink and make coffee etc.

House was perfect for 3 families. Well stocked kitchen, nice deck/grill and firepit with plenty of firewood. The game room has ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball table, 2 ok corn hole sets and a few smaller games. (There was an air hockey and a 3-game table that were broke) but we enjoyed having the basement to play in. Close to several stores but still out far enough that you didn't have much traffic. It's about a 1/2-hour easy country drive to the beach area and about 10 minutes to a fishing area along the river. There is so much to do in that area that we plan on coming back next year. Becky was very helpful and answered any messages quickly.

This was the perfect home away from home for our stay. It was relaxing and the outdoor (and basement) space was perfect for cornhole tournaments and games!

This house was a perfect location for my daughter's graduation from Juniata College. Multiple family members could stay and enjoy the house, outdoor areas and games in the basement.

Was a great location and all the comforts of home, plus more. Only problem was the tub in the bathroom drained very slow.

The owners were very responsive and helpful. The property is cozy, beautiful and plenty big for our family and friends. We were able to enjoy the fire in the evening by the creek and coffee on the deck in the morning. The cell service is tough but they are well equipped to help with that; however, it was nice to go off the grid during our stay! Very close to shopping, food and Juniata College. It was easy to go back and forth. The owners have made this place one to enjoy with family and friends!!! We had a memorable weekend! Thank you.

Awesome place, quiet and easy to get to town/stores. We went to the look outs near by that over look the lake and timed it just right for sunset. Fall in the area is so nice to enjoy the views around the lake. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy some time on the lake.

Great Lake house
My wife and I booked this home with our 2 kids and their friends to visit family in Huntingdon. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us with beds to spare. The kitchen is well equipped with cooking supplies and essentials and all the rooms were clean and neat. There are so many games in the house, we had a blast playing foosball, shuffleboard, cornhole, board games and card games stashed throughout the house. The weather wasn’t great but the deck and patio are great spots to hang out and enjoy the woods and small creek In the backyard. The fire pit is huge and the owners left plenty of firewood for the weekend. The owners could not be nicer and they accommodated us from the time we booked to the end of our stay. We will return next time we visit or just to spend a long weekend at the lake with friends!

Great stay
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. The upstairs loft and basement full of games offered plenty to keep the kids busy! The electric fireplace made the home feel like a cozy winter retreat. The location was great--easy to access and close to town.

Pleasantly surprised
First time ever where I felt the description and pictures underrated the place. Was delighted to see a much more spacious place then I envisioned. Boys (ages 8-13) wouldn’t leave basement with games. We had no idea it offered all that it did (air hockey, darts, etc etc). Yard with giant fire pit and vast supply of firewood was a favorite for everyone. Couldn’t be happier. Absolutely perfect for our group of 5 adults and 6 boys…. Great place for family!

Raystown Lake Vacation
The house itself was quite beautiful with several outdoor patios and porches. It had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. However, it would have been nice to have been advised to bring fire starters and kindle for the fire pit. The wood was damp because of recent rains and we had to purchase these items the second day of our stay. We noticed a huge barbecue gas grill. We did not use it because it needed a good cleaning and frankly was not mentioned in the listing, but it would have been a plus. The location was generally a good one as it was located a short drive to nearby tourist attractions and restaurants. There was an abandoned home adjacent to the rental and one a little further down the road, and although this was a bit disconcerting, the area itself felt safe. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. The area was very scenic and the house large enough to accomodate the six of us comfortably..

Great house near the lake!
The house was perfect for our family of eight! Very clean and very well stocked with anything you needed! The location was close to stores as well as the lake. Our host Becky got back to us very fast and even recommended places to eat and asked about our stay. The outdoor firepit and nearby creek were a nice way to end the day.

House was beautiful and close to boat launch. Peaceful setting with plenty of room to relax from the large back porch, patio with tiki bar and backyard fire pit. House was clean and all ready for our arrival. Looking forward to our next visit!

2021 Family Vaca
The property is in a great location to the lake. Just a short drive to Snyder’s Run boat launch or a quick 20 minute ride to Seven Points. Fire pit near the creek is awesome and the large front porch and rear deck are amazing. Food, gas, and beverage stores are very close as well.

Great location
The house was just as described. Very nice modern amenities and very close to the Snyders run boat launch. We went boating every day and were in and out of the water very quickly due to the proximity to the boat launch. Will definitely stay here again!

Great home and location
We loved the house. We had 14 people and we did not feel crowded. The basement area for kids stocked with games was great! The large back deck was perfect for the littler kids because there was no way they could escape :) You can see that upgrades are always being made. We look forward to seeing what is 'new' next year!

Top notch vacation property
The owners were very welcoming and it was great that we were able to check out a little later than the normal time on Sunday. We will definitely consider staying here again when boating at Raystown Lake.

Perfect Location
This was the perfect location to stay and visit our daughter for parent's weekend at Juniata College. The house was awesome and we even had some of her friends come over and make smores over the firepit. We would definitely stay again!

Boating and cabin adventures
This is a super awesome place had so much fun here fire to sit around in the evening and all kinds of different outside games and close to the dock for raystown went boating during the day and hung out around the fire ring in the evening...... ! And very good communication with the owners!

Summer Family Vacation
The house was everything we needed. The four grandkids ranging from 8 to 12 loved the loft area for sleeping and hanging out. The three main bedrooms were very nice. We brought our pontoon boat and our son in law brought his boat and there was enough room for parking . We spent our last night with a fire and smores very good week.

Location was perfect for us and the house was a peaceful retreat to have for our temporary home base. Homeowners were easy to communicate with and were quick to respond to our questions.

Great location , close to lake
House is great! There were 10 of us, family and friends living the lake life for a few days! Close to the boat launch, plenty of parking at the house...We had two boats and third vehicle. Enjoyed everything the house offered, outdoor fire pit, indoor games etc. Would love to return
