We had an amazing stay and would definitely rent unit #35 again! We arrived earlier than normal check-in time, but since the unit was ready, Joel allowed us an early check-in. Cayman Reef Resort is in a great location on SMB. While the resort property does not have a super huge beach front to it, we never had an issue getting chairs or an umbrella... plus, we enjoyed the daily strolls down the beach. It was just a short walk to Camana Bay, liquor stores, restaurants and grocery stores. While we did rent a car (so that we could drive to West Bay, North Side and East End on our own), it really wasn’t necessary for just eating/shopping purposes. We’ve traveled all over the Caribbean and for sure, we’ll be returning to Grand Cayman!

Location is excellent, close to restaurants & water sport activities. Check in was great and unit was very clean. I highly recommend for a great vacation.

The property is located right on 7 mile beach not to far away from the Royal Palms where you rent stuff and have drinks or food. The condo’s area was quiet and not crowded with plenty or chairs and umbrellas available at no extra charge. The beach and water is amazing. We ate at Coconut Joe’s several times because we loved their Mahi Mahi and it was in walking distance. The only complaint I have is our unit said it had a sofa bed and it didn’t, luckily it did have a blow up mattress for our daughter, but it doesn’t sleep 4 like the website said. Also the cleaning crew only left 2 roles of toilet paper to last 3 people for the week and if you plan to do any laundry be sure to bring your own laundry soap. Plus they have the wrong address on the website. I would stay here again.

This condo had everything we needed for a week's stay at the beach in Cayman. Enjoyed the additional room with the patio being enclosed. Comfortable, cool and convenient.

This is a great property and we recommend it to anyone heading to Grand Cayman. Ideal location and plenty of room this time of year on the beach.

Convenient to all major hotels and in a good location on 7-mile beach. The unit needs a deep clean and needs renovation yet it has everything you need including WiFi and printer. There is a nice sea view to catch the remenance of a sunset from the coach. Owner and the condo manager are very attentiatcie and responsive. Would stay here again.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay in the Cayman Islands. I would certainly recommend this condo, and will try to stay in the same place if we return to the Cayman Islands. It was comfortable, spacious, convenient and pleasant.

My daughter and I had a lovely week-long stay in this condo. It was clean and comfortable, seconds from the beach and a convenient location for exploring 7 mile beach. The atmosphere at the condos was very laid back. We didn't need the condo supplied chairs when we were at the condo beach - we could always find free chairs, but we took them along when we explored other beaches around the island. Joel was very responsive to reservation and other questions. The club down the beach was a bit loud a couple of nights, but using a white noise app on my phone minimized that issue. Overall a great stay. We'd happily go back!

Just got back from two weeks in this condo. Really enjoyed our stay. The proximity to the beach is perfect and it's well stocked with towels and pretty much everything you need for a beach vacation. The host Joel responds to emails very quickly and is a pleasure to work with. The location of Cayman Reef Resort is perfect too. So many good restaurants in walking distance.

Just returned from a 10 day stay. This is the third time staying in Unit 35. It is a wonderful, clean and a well maintained property. The beach is steps from the door. A car is not necessary staying here as the shopping is in walking distance and the local bus is outside. We will be returning next year. Thank you Joel once again!

This unit is really well done. This is our second time at Cayman Reef. We will be back. The location is really great and beach is never crowded.

First of all, it would probably be best to describe my wife and me as very low maintenance. We love sitting on the beach for hours and need a condo only for a place to sleep. This was our second trip in the last two years to Grand Cayman and Cayman Reef Resorts. We are very familiar with the area and enjoy the location of the resort. After reading the reviews for Joel’s condo we booked and immediately received a response back from Joel. Joel followed up when we were a few weeks out to address any concerns and let us know if we needed anything to reach out to him. Upon arrival we found the condo spotless and footsteps from the beach. The condo met all our needs. We will be back next July. Our thanks to Joel and Marie-Anne. Jeanie and Darrell W.

Really nice unit, everything worked, right on the beach.

Spend 6 nights there, the condo has all the amenities that you would need for a relaxing and fun vacation. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and if driving even more very close. We did not use the pool, but it was always clean and someone always in it... we chose to walk 50 yards to the beach... :) You will enjoy this condo for any length of stay.

We both enjoyed our 10 day stay at thr Reef. Coffee every morning on the beach. Went scuba diving. Snorkled right in front of the condo. Very relaxing, highly recomended for anyone who needs to get away and forget the stress that life puts on you.

Everything is excellent! Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful beach

We had a wonderful time. This unit was perfect for our little family of 3! Just the right amount of space and steps to the beautiful beach. We rented a car in case we needed it but the location was so prime we hardly used it. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, shops etc. also, wonderful and fast responding owners! Thanks for having us! PS. Grand Cayman is a true paradise.

We had a wonderful stay in Grand Cayman. The condo was steps from the beach and had everything you need. The small electric countertop grill Joel provided worked great. My only con is the sitting area was closed in. Other condos were open or screened in. You had to sit outside the unit to feel like you were outdoors.

Our third time visiting the Cayman Islands and our first stay at Cayman Reef Resort Unit 35. We were on the first floor with a beautiful view of beach. There is no patio to sit outside to have breakfast; not so much of a problem. We took our coffee to beach (literally a 2 minute walk) and enjoyed our breakfast sitting inside looking out. Unit was clean and plenty of towels are supplied along with everything you need in the kitchen to cook, make coffee and fix some drinks for the day. We did have an issue with phone line that I do know that Joel had checked on for us. As this was a holiday weekend the office was closed and I dont think it was followed up with. A little annoying for local calls but we worked around it. TV in the bedroom not working.... again we didnt bother anyone since we only had a 5 day/4 night vacation and didnt mind much about TV. A nice touch would have been a docking station for IPHONE to listen to music. We looked but couldnt find Ironing board. There was one issue that really made us mad at the complex. Our last full day we decided to rent a car, stopped to pick up supplies before heading out for the day. We pulled up to a parking spot that was vacant to drop- off bags (we took about 10 minutes if that). By the time we came out there was a large sticker stuck to our windshield (driver side) as a warning about where to park..... next time we will be towed! After trying to peal off a sticker with 1/2 of it sticking to windshield we looked around for our assigned spot #35 that was a few spaces away from unit. My husband went immediately to office and spoke to Sandy (manager) who stated that was her parking spot!!! OMG... we couldnt believe it. So moral to story, make sure you park in your assigned spot EVEN if you are unloading groceries. The unit itself is perfect and on a great stretch of white sand beach with snorkeling in the area. We would stay again and recommend Cayman Reef Resort to our friends/family.

My husband and I just spent a week at this lovely location. It is one bedroom and one bath and was perfect for the two of us. Everything we needed was there and in good working order. The condo and the complex were clean and well maintained. The best feature was the proximity to Seven Mile Beach. It was just steps away from the beach and convenient to many other attractions on the island. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

We stayed at #35 during Easter week. The place was great. Very clean. Super comfy bed. All the kitchen stuff you could want. Decent cable channels. The main draw is that the unit is very close to the beach. 7Mile Beach is one of the greatest that I have ever been to! You could just walk out and snorkel. Plenty of watersports nearby. It was a little busier than I like when the ships were in the dock. Unit is walking distance to many restaurants, and Camana Bay-which has shopping and a movie theater. I wanna go back asap, and would definitely rent #35 again!

The property was wonderful . Well situated on a lovely beach. Very close to restaurants and local transportation.
