I arrived to a colorful back drop at the entrance, with calm music playing. Staff were very accommodating and respectful. It was my first time in Edinburgh (Scotland) and ever staying in a POD. I was very skeptical but they reassured me everything would be OK. They check your ID on arrival and show you around the facilities, you get your own personal locker which you can create your own personal code. The PODS are in bunkbed formation with about 12 PODS in our room. The bed were very comfortable, they included a USB charger bedside and a plug socket in the room, you also have a privacy curtain and a LED mood light in the POD. Although facilities are shared everywhere was spotless from the showers to the toilets to the walk ways and the rooms. Very impressed for shared facilities. Free fast wifi provided. Breakfast on request and complimentary Tea and coffee at the shared kitchen. The hostel provided free activities everyday along with free walking tours.

I found nothing wrong with the place at all. There was cheaper options for other hostels but I believe the money paid for the hostel (£49) was well spent.

absolutely amazing hostel , everything you need and so comfortable. Just right in the old town, 7 minutes walk from princess street. Beds are so comfy and facilities have everything you need. Toilets are spacious and clean with shower gel in dispenser .

Fantastic location! Loved the WhatsApp group chat to meet other people and be informed of things happening each night. Late checkout option was fabulous.

Great central location, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable beds, there were also earbuds and sleeping masks if you need them!

As other people have mentioned, the rooms were small.

room had clearly been re plastered recently as dust everywhere. bed was wet, duvet was wet. marks on the covers. had a very long journey arriving after midnight so no time to even move. only been here 30 mins and already want to leave. smells damp and just not pleasant

Was situated in the central and everything was within a 20 minute walk. everything was comfortable and clean (especially the bathrooms, they are maintained) and everything was easy to use. Staff were friendly. although in a shared dormitory there is still a lot of privacy with the curtains and pods. If you choose travel on your own it is easy to meet new people in this place!

Hello, actually i faced the weirdest situation ever wuth the guys here, i received my pod and the room code and number and i stored my personal belongings like (my passport, my laptop, my wallet, my pocket of money, my medications, and a couple of personal stuff ) in a locker with passcode only for me and everything was totally fine, in the second day i went out and when i came back in the morning i found out the locker is unlocked and nothing inside completely, it was blank. I was shocked and terrified and my heart beats started to go high because this my passport and laptop and my money inside, i went to the receptionist and they told me if I'm sure that i locked it in the morning and i was. Actually they were so cold and rude with me, they told me it's okay we will leave a message for the house keeping and they will update in the morning!!!!!!!!! Perhaps they moved the stuff to another locker. After insisting from my side they told me okay allow us a little bit of time. And after some calls they made it, we found that one of the housekeeping workers override my locker code and opened it and moved my items to another one!!!!!!! I'm really really shocked and frustrated from them. How come someone open my locker which i rented it while I rented the bed !!!!!! The hostel rate is very good on booking.com and that's what encourage me to book it. After i checked my stuff i went to them and asked how come you open the locker and move my stuff tbey told me because your locker is 10 and you used 11!!! Is that an valid reason to open my locker ?! What if the housekeeper wasn't honest and stole some money or they dropped my passport and lost it anywhere?! What about my work laptop and it contains work secrets?! Many questions seriously i can't find an answer for it.

The place was incredibly clean and there were lockers in the room which fit a cabin case and other pieces. This was my first time staying in a hostel, and as a female solo traveler. I was a bit worried beforehand but I had no need to be, I honestly loved it. The bathroom was spotless too. The location is also perfect. Right in the middle of the city. I cannot fault this place and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The pods are quite tight as I'm used to a double bed, so I found myself hitting my knees quite a lot.

The bathroom was clean and the pods were bigger than I thought. It was nice, comfortable and in a great location. The staff were friendly and useful and the dining room was spacious and inviting. The breakfast was also nice and great value. Great social activities too.

I wish the luggage locker was bigger as I couldn’t fit all my things in there. However, this was a very minor thing.

Everything was great! The staff was super nice and approachable. Was sad to leave and will happily come again!

This is one of the best hostels I have stayed at - if not the best. The beds are very comfortable and have privacy which is nice when staying in a dorm. The staff was super friendly and very helpful with information and good stories about the city. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It is also very conveniently located in the city center. Main attractions and sights are within walking distance.
