This is a very nice place to stay. It was my hubby and I with our friends, a mom with her 8 year old daughter. The bedroom layout is perfect for two separate small families, as each bedroom has is own ensuite. We really enjoyed our short stay here. It is close to a few beaches and restaurants. Our stay was supposed to be longer, but due to a wildfires north of us, the government asked all tourists to leave to free up rooms for those that were evacuated. We are making plans for our return for next year with our friends and see and do everything we didn’t. As a side note. Vicki and Larry worked very hard to ensure our wellbeing and worked with VRBO so we were refunded to days we were asked to leave.

Beautiful lane way house accommodations. Spacious and clean. Every detail looked after and some spices etc in cupboard to help with cooking. Details like this make the difference in your stay. Kitchen had everything you could need. Patio outside for supper was great.

The four of us stayed for 5 nights and we had a wonderful time. The property was clean and inviting, we had everything we needed. The hosts were very amiable and responsive. Location is close to Safeway and other shops, we drove to both lakes to enjoy the beaches. The hosts prepared a guide of what to see , do and eat around so I am sure anyone will feel happy and well rested after a vacation here at Vicki and Larry’s place. Thanks again.

Thank you for making our trip simply wonderful! We came to the valley to enjoy wine country with friends. This rental was perfect in so many ways! From the welcome wine, to the recommendations for restaurants and attractions, and all the little details thought of! For two couples having a separate en-suite was a dream and we made ample use of the patio to enjoy charcuterie and wine in the evenings. We will certainly rent this place again as it met all our expectations and many more!!! I’ve already told my dear friend who visits this area often than this property is not to be missed!

This, our second stay, was just as inviting and worry-free as the first. Our kind hosts put together an information binder, which they updated since our first visit, that is superb and covers a lot of ground, from dining (including gluten free options) and craft breweries to cycling routes. The accommodations are top class and the layout well designed, relaxing and importantly, at night, very quiet. A separate and secure bike shed is super handy. Trail House is located centrally in an area equidistant from the two main beaches, and only a short drive to either beach. It is also only a block away from a dedicated bike lane on Government Street, so it's easy to jump on your bike and quickly get anywhere in town and/or onto the various bike routes. Communication with the owners is efficient and timely and we were never left hanging on the one or two questions we had. Five stars.

This is a wonderful place to stay to explore Penticton and area. Vicki and Larry are responsive and friendly hosts that have put much thought into creating a comfortable vacation home. The secure bike storage is fantastic and proximity to the KVR makes it an ideal base for cyclists. Thank you for a great stay!

Great access to everything. Private back patio. Close to venue. Clean new with 3 bathrooms. Enough space to have friends for dinner. Hosts are very accommodating and attentive to property and gardens in our absence. Unintrusive.

Thoughtfully designed, stand-alone modern garden suite with upscale features and very clean throughout. Beautiful layout of bedrooms, living space and kitchen. Walkout door to private patio. Quality kitchenware and appliances and superb organization by the owners with a flawless check in procedure and convenient keypad door lock for front door. We were in Penticton for cycling, so a separate and spacious deadbolt locked storage shed with a “bike shop” decor and bike hangers for three bikes was just a lovely touch. Ample parking next to the home was also very nice. A private patio and BBQ was also well used and enjoyed by us. The location was very quiet and only a block from Government Street where a dedicated bike lane can take you south to Skaha Lake and to Okanagan Falls or you can go north to Naramata. It would be a long walk to the beach from this location but that is about the only “con” I could think of (it is a short car or bike ride to the beach though). K from Alberta

Trail House is very clean, comfortable, nicely furnished in a contemporary style and well-equipped. It is centrally located, across the street from the hospital. Lovely back patio to enjoy warm Penticton evenings. We enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I, along with my Dad and his partner were in Penticton for my daughter’s wedding and couldn’t have stayed at a better place for our needs. The location was central so no matter if your activities are on the Okanagan side, Skaha or downtown, it’s a quick drive wherever you need to go. Even exploring the upper and lower benches of Naramata for some winery and distillery tours is a quick trip. The property itself was fabulous, everything you could possibly need is there. There’s a nice kitchen with all appliances, coffee maker, dishwasher. Even the little things like sugar, ice cube trays are there. Everything is well thought out. There’s a 2 pc bathroom on the main floor with washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. As well, the living room is large and comfortable with a convertable table for dinner. TV has cable and Netflix and was old for the 4 of us to relax for a bit after a day out with some downtime. Upstairs are 2 large bedrooms with en suites and showers in each room. Each bedroom also has a tv with cable. King bed in one and queen in the other. Very comfortable with extra blankets, towels, bathrooms come equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There’s a private patio out the back. A nice table, chairs, sitting area and bbq with natural gas feed. There’s cushions and blankets for a cool night or morning if you wanted to sit outside. All in all, a pretty amazing property. And I almost forgot to mention Vicky and Larry. They were great hosts. Vicky was in discreet contact with us when required, but we didn’t feel intruded on. Awesome hosts. We’ll definitely keep this wonderful property in mind when we come back to visit.

Perfect place to use as a home base when exploring Penticton and area.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at the Trail House for a month. The accommodations were perfect for us and the location was so central and close to grocery stores, restaurants etc. I should mention that the beds were super comfy. Vicki and Larry were quick to respond to our requests concerning family and friends staying with us. The Trail House was well stocked with everything we required for a very memorable stay!

The trailhouse was super clean and had everything that you needed to make your stay perfect. Vicki was easy to communicate with and was very responsive to any questions we had. My wife and I stayed here for a month and without a doubt it was the best place we have ever stayed in.

2nd time at the property just as great as the 1st time.

The property is extremely well layed out for a young family of 4 or 2 couples. Designed perfectly for what is needed. The 3 bathrooms add an extra nice piece of luxury.

This rental checked all the boxes and we enjoyed a wonderful, relaxed stay here!
