An amazing house in brilliant location, close to great restaurants and beaches. The host Tina made us feel very welcome and we appreciated how well the house was stocked with everything you could need. The view of the harbour from the pool is simply fabulous !

This house is wonderful: the house's location in the English Harbour area is ideal for so many great excursions: Shirley Heights Lookout (and the Sunday night party), Nelson's Dockyard, hike to Rendezvous Beach, etc. The pool deck is so well designed and we really enjoyed just chilling by the pool. The grounds are verdant and diverse. The house amenities were thoughtfully considered and perfect for our family of two seniors, two adults and two young teenagers. The house is also fantastic value and Tina, the owner, lives in the cottage right below the house which is so helpful when you have questions or if you run into any problems while on the island (though we did not). Highly recommended!

We have just enjoyed a very relaxing stay at this very comfortable villa - it was more spacious than expected and the outside area and pool perfect - particularly the fabulous views! The host was very helpful and quick to respond to any minor issues or help we needed! Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay. Tina was very helpful and the villa is gorgeous. Wonderful view with a superb master bedroom. Extremely well equipped as well. A car is essential to be able to explore the surrounding area.

Absolutely an amazing experience
We arrived in Antigua in the late afternoon and were floored by the view as soon as we stepped into the villa. Everything only got better from there. The villa itself is spectacular and welcoming. The island is filled with the nicest of people and amazing sights, beaches, and views. The food was always good and plenty of refreshing fresh fruits and produce. I cannot say enough about Tina's hospitality and her property. I wish I could keep it a secret, but its just too perfect to not share. We will definitely revisit Antigua and Tina again!

Lovely house
We loved our stay in this great house with beautiful views over Falmouth harbour. Everything had been thought of to make our time here effortless. A spacious and private home. Tina was a wonderful host, offering great recommendations for the area, the pictures do not do it justice!

Great Falmouth property
In 7 years of renting properties, this home had the most comprehensive collection of amenities. And ofcourse a great pool and views

Amazing views
The pictures don't do this property justice. The view over the harbor is the best in the area. The house is surrounded by an amazing garden. Air con keeps all the bedrooms cool - much needed on a 32c day. The pool is great for anyone over 4ft. Tina is super helpful and very quick if you need anything. I will be back here. One of my favorite places in the world!

Amazing house
Tina gave us a warm welcome and showed us around. The house is beautifully and tastefully decorated and has a great view over Falmouth Harbour. The rooms and bathrooms are great while the outdoor space is large with lots of options for sun or shade, sitting or lounging etc. While the pictures are great, for once the house actually exceeded our expectations! We can highly recommend the Yellow House.

A home from home in a little piece of paradise
From the outset at the point of booking, our whole experience at the Yellow House was absolutely exceptional. Tina was highly effective and speedy with any communication, both prior to arrival and whilst we were actually in her beautiful villa. I cannot express how stunning this villa is, with breathtaking views and is extremely comfortable - a real home from home. We took our family of five for 2 weeks over Christmas for a much needed break after a difficult year. The location is only a little out of the way - exactly what we hoped for, but only 10 minutes to Falmouth Harbour / English Harbour with stores, restaurants and bars a plenty. A car is a must and we were highly impressed with Rasheed, who Tina put us in touch with for car rental. We would highly recommend this villa as it is private, secure, beautiful, roomy and well furnished - just perfect with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The decor is beautiful, the beds are extremely comfortable with fabulous bedding and the most comfy of pillows! The kitchen had all we needed and more (!) and was better equipped than most family homes! The BBQ was great...cooking is a pleasure while looking at the beautiful view! The pool, complete with comfy sun-loungers, day bed and pool floats made for relaxing times, however the villa was well placed to enjoy walks to explore the local beaches - coolers, beach towels and chairs were also available. We felt thoroughly relaxed, had fabulous weather too - the A/C was a blessing and WiFi is effective throughout the property and lush garden. Every window has the most stunning of views and we are already planning our return. Tina has thought of EVERYTHING and absolutely made our holiday incredible. On day one we realised we hadn't packed binoculars (to look at the fabulous yachts coming into the Harbour) and within 20 minutes Tina had provided us with some - that's service! We had days in, days out, ate in and ate out - we shared laughs and Pina Colada's with Tina, who lives close by, and also had the pleasure of Daisy, Minnie and Lulu!!
I am delighted to write the review, whilst really wanting to keep this place a secret to ensure it's not booked for when we next travel! THANK YOU TINA - YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

A perfect place to stay
As others have said, the photos don't do this house justice. We have stayed in many holiday houses but none as well equipped as this one. How often do you have to wash up because you've used the 4 plates and 4 glasses? Or run out to the shops as there is half a loo roll left by the last guest? There's none of that here. Everything from dishwasher soap and candles to beach towels and plug adapters is provided. If people mention the kitchen blender it's because it is a Marcus Wareing professional blender - an absolute joy to whip up cocktails or smoothies, crushing ice in seconds, That's after you've used the snazzy milk frother and chosen either the cafetiere or percolator for coffee. The cooker is a very sturdy gas range but there's a also a great gas BBQ (with gas) mini oven...I could go on. Suffice to say that if you like cooking, self catering here is a treat. Perhaps best of all for me as a sufferer of chronic back problems was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on, including my own. The master bedroom is simply gorgeous and very romantic. The others are very spacious too and all have their own bathroom - all modern, tasteful and immaculate - what a treat that no one has to share! As others have said, views are wonderful, the outdoor living space is superb (hammocks, cushions for the loungers etc etc...sigh) and the neighbourhood felt very safe. You can walk to the sea but it was tricky to get in on the windy days. Far better is a 15-minute drive to Galleon which we loved - beautiful bay, fantastic snorkelling (rays and turtles just off shore and a longer swim to the reef pays dividends). A car is essential but we found the location ideal - quiet, safe and other parts of the island are easily reached. We were happy to spend 5 mins in the car for lovely hilltop breezes and stunning views. Very impressive service too - Tina realised there was a problem with the pool before we did one morning (she lives close by but is only there if you need her). The pool man was over within an hour sorting everything out. The same was true of Rasheed whom Tina recommended for car hire - a small problem with the car was fixed as soon as we reported it.Tina has a background in concierge services for the yachting community and it shows - she understands that investing in making the stay very comfortable makes for very happy guests. We had one problem - and that was leaving when we didn't feel ready! Thank you for being so generous Tina. Highly recommend.

spectacular view!!!
The Yellow House was perfect for our family of 4. We spent almost all our time on the back deck admiring the view of English Harbour. The owners thought of everything to make visitors feel at home. Very clean! It surpassed our expectations.

We stayed in the yellow house for a month over summer ....classed as the quiet season it is a perfect way to live and relax in a beautiful home. Tina is such a warm and lovely hostess, nothing is too much trouble and the house is kept to a fine standard of cleanliness, homely furnishings, comfy beds and sea views you will never get bored of! Tina is there when you need her but left us to our holiday and days with no interruptions. The house is large, airy and clean with new bathrooms and a kitchen with all the pots/pans etc you will need for entertaining. Dinners out on the patio each evening, full gas BBQ and drinks never got boring! The pool and gardens are well maintained and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy the outdoor space or find a quiet spot in a hammock and read or sleep (loads of books to read there too). The house sits on outcrop opposite the harbour so the sea breezes keep the temperatures indoors manageable and the aircon helps for a quick blast at night. A car is a must here and the freedom that gives is also the best way to explore the island. English harbour and Falmouth have some great bars and restaurants and like I said this was the quiet season but we found enough nightlife and places open to enjoy a great balance of eating in or out.The pool and gardens are well maintained and plenty of space for the kids to enjoy the outdoor space or find a quiet spot in a hammock and read or sleep. The house sits on outcrop opposite the harbour so the sea breezes keep the temperatures indoors manageable and the aircon helps for a quick blast at night. English harbour is a great base for a holiday we felt with lots of local amenities, the drive to St Johns, Jolly harbour, or the opposite coast were never too long either to explore beaches, tax free shopping or finding the larger supermarkets. Darkwood beach has a great inflatables 'splash park' set in the sea for kids, my two age 12&14 loved it. Jolly beach & castaways beachbar do great food, FFryes and Little Ffryes are both great beaches - postcard perfect! Dickenson and CoCo beach bar are lovely. We swam with turtles and rays whilst snorkelling at Galleon beach looking for the shipwrecks (best for snorkelling by far!). Would I recommend it to a friend .....absolutely!! Would I book Yellow House again?.....already working on it!

Stunning Villa, More Than I Ever Hoped For !
Fantastic location, amazing breezes set upon a hill overlooking the entrance to Falmouth harbor. Exceptional layout/ floor plan. Sparkling new bathrooms with great water pressure and hot water. Gourmet Kitchen equipped to entertain and serve 20 + people. Five sitting areas inside and out, with ample comfortable furnishings and beautifully decorated. The Owner has an eye for sophisticated style. Amenities include screens on all windows, roller sunshade on the verandah, high end bath fixtures, umbrellas for shade around the pool, covered outdoor sitting area seats 10, laundry room, snorkeling gear, coolers, beach chairs, concealed clothes line , water cooler, excellent Internet, land line, private location with exceptional views. Beautiful linens and towels, comfortable beds. Tina is a fabulous Hostess/ Owner, she takes great care of the property and guests, while she lives nearby , but out of view, she is available should you need anything but is not intrusive. A shout out to Tony, a delightful person who kept the house and surroundings clean and tidy . I would highly recommend " The Yellow House" for groups, family reunions or for a relaxing holiday away from the crowds.

What a Wonderful Place
We love The Yellow House. We had the kids and grandkids for the first week. There's plenty of room for all six of us. The house is really comfortable, easy going and breezy. Relax, unwind and enjoy the views! In addition to a super well outfitted kitchen, there's beach chairs, coolers, toys and towels galore. Our only disappointment was having to leave. Tina and her staff are top notch. Thanks for another great stay. We'll see you all again next year.

A perfect holiday home in a superb location
Just as you wonder how further you have to go down a pot holed lane the view of English Harbour, Falmouth and blue sky/ sea opens up, and there is the beautiful Yellow House. Sea breezes around you, views of luxury yachts, Frigate birds on the wing- perfect! The house is in excellent order, Tina has clearly continuously invested in updating and improving the home. The bathrooms were very new and in a very tasteful marine shabby chic look. Beds were comfy, with air conditioning for hot nights. Plenty of spaces to lounge, relax, read and chat. Dining on the terrace was a delight, from breakfast through to candlelight dinners. Walking opportunities from the house are limited, you do need a hire car to negotiate that track and get around. Tina is an excellent host who takes care of any special requests and makes your visit carefree. Recommended!

Great House - Great View - Great Stay
The Yellow House is such a nice place to stay! We spent a week here and enjoyed every minute of our visit. The house is beautiful - the kitchen has everything you need to prepare gourmet meals - the bathrooms are new and absolutely beautiful. Everything is clean, fresh, and well appointed.
The view of the harbor from the back yard is enchanting. My husband and I enjoyed watching the big yachts go in and out - many of them docked in the harbor - we enjoyed reading the names of the boats and then looking them up on the internet. There are some pretty fabulous boats in that harbor! The outside area in the back of the home has so many places to relax and take in the view - you can sit somewhere else almost every night - at the dining table, on the sofa underneath the covered patio, outside the master bedroom on the small porch, or by the pool. So fun. We enjoyed using the gas grill to prepare some great meals - and marveled at the star shows in the sky.
The air conditioners in the bedrooms keep you cool at night - and during the day - the windows allow lots of breeze to filter through the house.
Much care has been taken to make sure that guests of the Yellow House feel like they are welcome and pampered. We loved our visit to this home! Thanks Tina and Tony!

beautifully & tastefully presented, very spacious and stunning views
A beautifully presented property, tastefully decorated with stunning views. Wonderful 180 degree view of Falmouth bay and the surrounding hills. With the addition of further views out east to the Caribbean sea. The photos don’t do it justice, feels very spacious and every home comfort you could imagine. The area is slightly off the beaten track which makes it very quiet and peaceful whilst still only being 10 minutes to English harbour and the lovely pigeon beach. We slept in the lovely master suite which was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. Overall fantastic experience and lovely memories. Thank you Tina

Amazing Holidays
We stayed at the Yellow House this year again and loved it as much as the previous year. Everything was perfect, the kitchen so well equipped, the living room comfortable, airy and breezy, the rooms and bathrooms spotless and perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 children, the pool and garden, we love the Yellow House and look forward to coming back to it another time!
Tina is always improving the house, so it is immaculate and beautifully decorated, and Tony the housekeeper does the best bed ever while everything is absolutely spotless.
If you need advice, bookings and tips, Tina will be delighted to help with a smile. Thanks again and see you soon!

Fantastic Views, Great Villa with all you need
We spent 12 days at Yellow House in late July and had a wonderful time. The villa owner Tina could not have been more helpful. A car is needed and she booked us a great SUV which met us at the airport and the hire manager Rasheed even escorted us to the villa - about 25 minutes drive from the airport.
Yellow house is located at the end of a peninsula with fantastic views over Falmouth Harbour which can be enjoyed from the plentiful pool loungers. The Villa is spacious and very well equipped. Tony the house keeper was friendly and it was great to come back from a day out and find the place regularly cleaned with new towels and bed linen (Thanks again Tony).
We spent some days out exploring the beautiful island and recommend the Fig Tree Drive through the rain forest on way to the beaches around Jolly Habour. The capital St Johns is worth a visit and take in Lunch at Hemmingways overlooking the hustle and bustle of the main street was great (go for the local special - it will not disappoint and great service). A morning at Stingray City is something we will never forget, even our 3 year old had his photo with the Giant Fish. Closer to Yellow House try a relaxing day at Pigeon Beech, it is great for all, soft sand and calm sea for young children and also some snorkeling for older ones. Make sure you make the visit to Nelson's Dockyard and if you fancy a treat take a great lunch at Boom Restaurant and then while away the afternoon with a cocktail or two next to their pool.
We had a great time at Yellow House and would definitely recommend it to families who want a well equipped and relaxing location. Thanks again Tina, we may well come back in the future.

We're coming back and staying longer next year
Yellow house is clean, beautiful, and spacious. My family and I rented the villa for eight days, and enjoyed our stay. Tina and Tony are very helpful from beginning to end. The house was well stocked with linens, clean white towels, beach towels, beach toys for kids.
The kitchen had all the pots and utensils you would ever need. They even had dishes and utensils for children ( my kids are five and three years old, so it was nice to have these.
The view from this villa is amazing. We spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying the view and the island breeze. My kids loved the pool and the lush garden with the beautiful flamboyant tree.
I have visited Antigua many times, and thanks to the yellow house this was our best trip.
We will definitely be back next year for a loner stay.

Amazing property - beautiful location, well equipped, very helpful owner and staff. Highly recommend
We have just had a fantastic two week stay at Yellow House - what an incredible place! The location and views over English Harbour are outstanding, the sea breezes and the open layout of the house meant it was always comfortable even in mid-summer. We've stayed in many villas over the years, and I can honestly say that none have been as well or thoughtfully equipped as Yellow House. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Thank you Tina and Tony for making our first trip to Antigua a memorable one - it won't be the last!

Great property - generously equipped - wonderful views - couldn't fault
Had a wonderful fortnight stay at Yellow House - We've stayed in many villa properties and have never had one as thoughtfully or generously equipped - the living areas are spacious and balmy breezes flow through the property from the large lounge through to the splendid master bedroom. The whole property is spotlessly clean, decorations abound and the rooms feel most welcoming.
We spent many happy afternoons watching the super yachts coming and going in Falmouth harbour. The villa is a short drive into the English Harbour area replete with many excellent restaurants and cafes. We were spoilt for choice in the evenings - but catering at the house is also an easy option with a gas barbecue available which cooks chicken, steak and fish to perfection.
Thanks to Tina and Tony for looking after us during our stay. We would recommend the villa to our friends without hesitation and would certainly return to Antigua and stay there again.

Just returned home after two weeks at the Yellow House. Nothing could make this place better except a longer stay! I could write a lot of positive comments, but trust me, absolutely everything about the Yellow House is wonderful. Go and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Thank you Tina. You and your staff are the best!!

When we travel, we want to stay at properties with amazing views, unique features, and ambience. The Yellow House had all of these qualities and more. Tina Westwood is a wonderful host... The house made the trip memorable!
The property is described as having "fabulous views", and it does not disappoint.

The best!
My wife and I just spent 10 incredible days at the Yellow House. It was our first trip to Antigua and we had no frame of reference other than the photos and reviews. Neither the photos nor the reviews do justice to the property or Tina, the property owner. Tina had taken care of every detail for us. She had a taxi driver meet us at the airport. He stopped so we could shop. The rental jeep she had lined up for us was waiting at the house. The house and pool are outstanding. The view over the harbor is amazing. The location at Falmouth Harbor was perfect for us. There are small grocery stores just minutes away and they are well stocked with beer and liquor. We traveled around the island a bit and will choose the Yellow House when we return. We were lucky to be in Antigua in the off season and got to spend some time with Tina (and her pup Minnie) who are delightful. She was always available by the local cell phone (which she provided free of charge as well!) Simply put this is an amazing property and everything runs so smooth it will be one of the most relaxing vacations ever. Thanks again Tina!

We had never stayed in Turtle Bay before but knew Falmouth very well and had stayed many times. This house is very spacious, very comfortable and has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. The cool breezes blow through the house all the time keeping it very cool even in the middle of the afternoon which is a time that can be unbearably hot in Antigua. The pool is great, the sun beds are beautifully comfortable and the views from the deck are just amazing. You can while away the hours just reading and gazing at the view. It is worth knowing that there isn't a swimmable beach nearby unless you are hardy and have good swimming shoes. We drove round to Pigeon Beach to swim which is a bit of a trek.
The kitchen is very, very well equipped. It even has a knife sharpener; my husband was thrilled. Blunt knives are usually the norm in a holiday rental. There are at least three different coffee machines! The beds are beautifully comfortable with brilliant, well fitting mosquito nets. This house feels like home the minute you walk in. The road to get to it is a pain but it is worth the pot holes to find the peace and quiet of this little remote headland. The amazing attractions of Falmouth are about fifteen minutes drive away. There are restaurants, bars, live bands and a nightclub along with the beach and the supermarkets. It is a great area for a holiday.

My husband and I spent 10 days at the yellow house. The high ceilings, traditional Caribbean architecture, wonderful breeze, cook's kitchen and a/c in the bedrooms were just the start of our exceptional stay.
Clearly, Tina (the owner) puts great care and thought into the details when making sure her guests are well cared for during their stay. She was a caring hostess and very helpful without being the least bit intrusive.
The house was clean and well maintained. While the pictures gave us an idea of what to expect we thought the house was so much more than what they were able to capture.
The kitchen was well stocked and the grocery/liquor stores were not far from the house.
While we didn't spend much time there, the living room was a nice size with a big couch and cable television.
WiFi was also available, although it does not work everywhere in the house - it was perfect for what we needed (streaming music was no problem).
The bedrooms - very comfortable beds and the a/c ran nice and cool if we wanted it. Sheets were good quality too. Plenty of closet space and hangers as well as dressers and drawers. The safe in the master was also a nice touch.
The bathrooms - roomy showers, and the tub in the master was so comfortable. The towels were nice quality.
The outdoor living area - We spent so much time here!! It is wonderful! Comfortable sitting on the couches, laying in the hammock, or lounging in/by the pool. All with a fantastic view of the harbor and ocean. Watching sailboats during the day and listening to lizards and frogs at night with a million stars in the sky -- awesome!!
Many additional amenities were provided such as 2 beach chairs, lots of beach towels, beach umbrella, small cooler, washer (no dryer, but air drying works great).
One down side to the island itself is the lack of signage on the roads, which made the map provided useless. We found a GREAT app for android or apple that works offline once you download it - its call Map.me Pro. I can not express the difference maker this was for us. The Pro version gives you a pointer that lets you know where you are all the time (again you are offline so it does not use date once you download it).
Only other negative was what we called the lumpy, bumpy road getting to the yellow house. It takes about 10 minutes to get down once you leave the main road. You will weave around pot holes and such but the great thing is you end up at a beautiful home!!
Thank you, Tina!!!

My husband, son and I spent 2 wonderful weeks at the Yellow House in Falmouth Harbour this past August. The location of the house is terrific with wonderful panoramic views across the harbour and out to sea. It also benefited from a wonderful see breeze. The accommodations itself were lovely--really nicely outfitted kitchen with all the elements you need and multiple areas to relax inside and out. The pool was a huge hit as well and benefited from both the breeze and the views. We visited many of the beaches and areas in Antigua in our time there as most places were 20-30mins drive. Although our favorite beach was one visible from the house. Overall, we found the Falmouth Harbour area the perfect mix of tourist and local. Lastly, the owner (although not on site) was extraordinarily helpful with any questions and had someone on hand who could track things down if needed. One of our best holidays and we definitely didn't want to leave!

Our very recent stay at 'The Yellow House", in Antigua was without a doubt our best family vacation. The villa was spacious, immaculately clean and besides the view which was next to spectacular, we were so pleased to find a very large open and well equipped kitchen. Tina is very warm and detail oriented. She made us feel welcomed and relaxed by arranging our airport transport, helping us secure local fresh Mahi Mahi and advising us on the best beaches and food markets. Our family of 5 adults had plenty of space to pursue individual activities or gather around the pool to soak up the Antiqua sunshine. We spent treasured moments cooking our nightly gourmet meals and enjoying them under the open air veranda. We have only been home a week but are planning our return trip to "the Yellow House", cause our only regret was that we had to leave.

We stayed in The Yellow House for over 3 months. It is difficult to describe how wonderful this location actually is without seeing it yourself. The photos Tina put on line really do not do the villa justice,.... as I walked in for the 1st time, my breath was taken away! With the view to the Sea to watch the yachts sailing in, the view of the harbour, the pelicans diving for fish, the horses down on the beach, the breeze which kept away the mozzies, the divine pool, .... I could go on. We were really taken care of with a cleaning service once a week, a gardner and a pool man. Any small problems that arose (as they normally do any where you stay) Tina was on the case the same day and had it fixed pronto. Only a short 10 -15 min drive to Falmouth and English Harbour. Surrounded by beaches, friendly English speaking neighbours, I felt safe and happy. All touristy attractions are not far away and at the Yellow House you have the option to go out to the bars and restaurants at night, or stay cozy under the stars, swimming privately in your lit' up pool. I really would recommend The Yellow House and would stay there again in a second. :)

We housed a family reunion at Yellow House among three brothers and wives, two couples from Wales and one cruising sailors hailing from Newport RI. Everything about this well equipped house exceeded expectations. The views, airy breezes, exquisite plantings and well appointed and expansive lay out made our time here delightful. Private and public spaces flow well. We had plenty of privacy, but when sought, we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of this beautiful Turtle Bay neighborhood. Yellow House was paradise for us.

Just spent a fun couple of weeks at ' The Yellow House ' with my husband & 2 kids. The house was as advertised & the views are exceptional! Everything you could possibly need can be be found in the villa. My family from the other side of Antigua, came over often for BBQ's & we found we had plenty of room for entertaining . The owner, Tina , was away on vacation but the maid took care of us very well & was extremely helpful. The house is spotless with plenty of linens. The kitchen is well-kitted out which was an incentive to spend time at the house and cook, which is nice when you have young kids. The kids made good use of the pool. We will definitely consider returning to this house when we vacation next time in Antigua & look forward to it ......thank you!!
