After a previous rental cancelled on us I was so grateful Mary Ann's property was available on such short notice. Its in a great location and Mary Ann was very responsive to any question. We'll definitely keep this place in mind the next time we're in VA beach.

Mary Ann was super communicative and made the check in process a breeze! The place was exactly as described and was in a wonderful location just a block from the beach and walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, and entertainment. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing unforgettable vacation at Mary Ann’s Gaskin Harbor (Condo) A private, second floor condo across the street from the beach and all attractions, what more can you ask for!? I almost want to keep it a secret for myself! Mary Ann’s communication, ease of access, double parking, accommodated a family of 6 to perfection. High Speed Internet, strong water pressure, functioning A/C, entertainment, kitchenware, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and even sand toys were all available for us. The location is exactly where you want to be in Virginia beach. Extremely close to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. We felt safe and slept like rocks. We are definitely planning to be back in the future! Thanks Mary Ann! See you soon Gaskin Harbor!

We were in town for a softball tournament and decided to make it a vacation. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. Super close to the beach, lots of amenities and the host was amazing to accommodate to our needs.

Everthing was nice and cozy and easy to settle in

The property had a kitchen which was well stocked with all the items you would need. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets, pillows, and spreads were a good quality. The shower had a nice supply of towels and the shower itself had lots of water pressure. Also, the location was fantastic!! You were able to walk to many shops, bars, and restaurants. Mary Ann was very kind and allowed us to check in early. She answered all my questions and was very helpful. We definitely said we would stay here again when we come to VA Beach. Thanks for a great weekend!

Some items could be more confortable. Matresses have seen better Days. Living Room fourniture is actually mainly patio fourniture so a little Stiff to relax. If you use the 2nd parking spot in garage across the street, avoid 1st Floor...you will get towed!

We checked in and the condo was ready earlier then expected. It was very clean and the location was great! Very quiet too. Walking distance to great restaurants. The coffee maker broke while we were there and I alerted Mary Ann who had one sent to the condo the next day! We really enjoyed our stay and would book here in the future. It had everything we needed so we just had to pack clothes and food. It was stress free.

We came for a quick family trip, Monday to Thursday. The home was neat and tidy with everything we needed. Huge set of DVDs to choose from too. Never got the cable working but we weren't trying to watch TV anyway as the beach is right there. Parking is convenient, beach gear is useful, and kitchen is pretty much well appointed. The home is 2 bedrooms plus a pull out couch with a kitchen, bathroom and living room. Nothing too fancy but you won't be in there much anyway. We ate a few meals there and spent the rest of the time out and about. Would definitely return!

We were impressed with the condo and it had a lot of little touches that were useful and including local businesses, beach items for use, and games. We had a problem with the tv in the living room as we could not get cable to work. But this was not really an issue as the owner had two large volumes of DVDs available to pick from and including childrens which we used what television time we had to watch. The unit also had a television in each bedroom which worked fine. We didn't come to Virginia Beach to stay in and watch television. My wife and I had some business to take care of in the area and my son, his wife, 9 year old, and 1 year old were able to do what they wanted in the area without a car. Beach and amusement park within easy walking distance and of course they had access to the beach gear if needed. We did notice some street noise as it was Memorial Day weekend but did not view it as disturbing. We also found some ear plugs in the unit if we had chosen to use them. We really enjoyed the "beachy" decor of the unit. All in all we thought the owner really wanted us to enjoy our stay and we would not hesitate to recommend this location.

This was a perfect place to stay! It had everything we needed and it was minutes away from the boardwalk and beach! The host was very accommodating and let us stay an extra night!

It is an older complex and may be noisier during the summer months. Although we had no issues. The shower and ac worked fine.

This was outfitted nicely for our small, young family. There were toys and coloring books for the kids, dishes and lots of blankets/pillows. Everything was super clean and easy check in/check out. The only thing we’re weren’t prepared for was the noise. There was a lot of street noise at night, and we didn’t have a sound machine or fan to drown out the noise which made sleeping difficult for the kids. The planes that fly over are cool but they go by all day and it’s very loud. Other than that, great location and adorable little place!

The condo was just right for us two couples and a kid; at a good location across the road to the beach. Everything was ready for fun days on the beach. Good value overall. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this lovely little condo while browsing on HomeAway and had known the area very well from past years, so we knew it was in great location, centralized to a lot of shops, restaurants and beaches. Mary Ann, the owner, was phenomenal from the very beginning. She kept in steady touch with us for nearly a year from the time we initially booked this, on through to the time of checkout, all the while being very receptive and helpful with lots of great suggestions. Truly a nice person to deal with! The condo was absolutely great for our group ( my wife, myself and our two young children). Everything you could possibly need was there for your usage and everything was very well kept. Of course, the pricing was beyond reasonable and too good for any sane human being to pass up. It truly was an out of this world deal in price, quality, accomodations and ownership from top to bottom. I hope we were as good of guests as Mary Ann was great of a host. Thank you allowing us to visit here!

Mary Ann was wonderful from day 1! Not only was the property exactly as described, but the location was perfect for walking to the beach! Mary Ann stayed in touch with us throughout our visit and treated us as friends more than renters. I would recommend this property to any small family!

Cute little house very clean lots of amenities and super close to the beach. We had a family of 6, my husband our 3 kids and our sons girlfriend and although she slept in the double bed room with our girls on an air mattress there was plenty of room for us all. Danika our local host and Mary Ann were very helpful and kept in touch and got right back to us when we had questions and also gave us information on local activities during our stay that we may otherwise have not known about. We had such a good time and the walk to the beach was so easy and short and the beach cart they provide helped out a lot. We would most definetly stay here again in the future! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!!
