Cute house, very comfortable with lots of fun beach accessories!

We had a fabulous stay over Independence Day week and really can’t say enough good things about the house. It was so comfortable and had everything we needed to make our stay great. The shower really is worth mentioning- it’s a rarity to have such an amazing one in a rental house on the island! The internet worked well and consistently when it didn’t at the other houses where our friends were staying nearby. Overall this is one of the best houses we’ve stayed in and I’d definitely stay again!

This is a really nice property and well-equipped for people with children or two couples. The large, well-appointed kitchen/dining area is much appreciated. Sometimes in rentals you see a lot of bedrooms but a very cramped kitchen and living space, and this home has a very open, spacious feel yet plenty of sleeping spaces and nice sized bathrooms as well. Just a short buggy ride or walk down the sand path to the best part of north beach!

We loved staying at Brandi's property. It was a cute home close to the beach. Brandi was very helpful and always responded promptly. Johnny, the caretaker, was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. We were very pleased with our vacation.

House was exactly as listed and next to a beautiful beach. The highlight, though, was the hospitality and communications by the host, her staff, and all of the local islanders. What a great place to visit! (Shhhh don’t tell anyone)

This was our third trip to Spanish Wells. We love It here and are never disappointed. The people here are so friendly, and so helpful. We arrived on Christmas Eve and we’re met at the ferry by The caretaker. We had rented a golf cart from Harborside that was waiting for us at the ferry with our name on it. Nancy showed us around the house and had even gone grocery shopping for us! That was so essential considering the grocery stores were closed from Saturday afternoon till Tuesday because of the holidays. The house came with everything you could need We are a family of six, my husband and myself and we have four children ages 15,12,10 and 8. we had plenty of space, the kids loved all the games they found. The beds were comfortable, and they were plenty of blankets and pillows. More than enough bath towels as well We love the fact that there were two beach camp chairs, in the previous houses we stayed at it’s always difficult to find beach chairs that aren’t the plastic Adirondack chairs that are easily broken. There were beach towels and a clothesline outside to hang to dry at the end of the day. There’s an outdoor shower that the kids loved. The kitchen was fully stocked and all appliances worked great. It was really nice to have a washer and dryer especially with four kids. Our weather for the first couple of days was rainy so it was nice to have the washer and dryer as we couldn’t hang anything out of the line. Brandi the house owner Couldn’t be any nicer and communicates amazingly. We are thankful we were able to spend our second Christmas in Spanish Wells and hope to come back next year. If you visit between Christmas and New Year’s you were lucky enough to experience all of the Christmas outdoor lights and decorations. We are from Connecticut and people put up lights but it is nothing compared to the Christmas spirit in Spanish Wells 🎄If you visit between Christmas and New Year’s you were lucky enough to experience all of the Christmas outdoor lights and decorations. You will also get to see two firework displays that are better than any display I’ve ever seen. Both displays last thing about 12 to 15 minutes without pause. The house was great and updated. Close to everything and Brandi was super easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity presents itself!

If you have kids this is the house to stay at. They have toys, and books for your kids to play with. The kitchen is very well equipped even with kid plates, cups, bowls, etc. House is spacious and clean. Super close to the beach, and a nice back yard to hang in under the trees. Will definately stay again.

What a delightful family experience on the sleepy-island of Spanish Wells. What didn’t we like about our stay. For starters, the owner Brandi made the selection process so easy. She gave us all of the details needed to choose the best island and property for our stay. We chatted frequently about new COVID requirements to arrive and depart, vendors for every excursion and cool places to take-in an authentic Bahamian experience. The beautiful 3:23 Cottage was better than advertised. Since we traveled with 2 teenaged adults, they both had their own space to prep for the days’ activities and rest peacefully afterwards. We had all of the indoor/outdoor amenities needed or we could simply take the golf cart down the path where the beach access gave us privacy and unfiltered views for miles. The caretaker Johnny arranged pickup with David (taxi 146) to and from the airport, our ferry to and from Eleuthera and our golf cart for our stay. Overall, we enjoyed touring amazing places like the historic Glassdoor Bridge, Sapphire Blue Hole, Swimming with pigs, nurse sharks, sea turtles, starfish and fishing off the coast of the devils backbone. A trip of a lifetime and we most certainly recommend contacting Brandi to make your own family memories, hands-down! Adam E. and Family

We had a fantastic time and the house was perfect. It's a quick, easy walk to the beach, the house was equipped with plenty, and life was easy! Johnny Underwood and his wife Nancy were extremely helpful in arranging anything we needed. Definitely recommend renting the golf cart for ease of getting around the island. Everything about our trip was wonderful - including the house and the owners. Brandi sent so much helpful info before we came. Can't wait to come back!!

What a beautiful home to enjoy the beautiful Spanish Wells! Walked to the beach day and night and came home to this beautiful islandy up to date home! The communication with the owners were amazing!!!!! We will be back!!!!!!

We have visited Brandi’s house a few times now and absolutely love the location and the “newness” of her home. We feel very lucky to have spent our time as a family here and have made wonderful memories.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The layout was perfect for two families and our kids just loved the bunk-beds in the third bedroom. The house is very well equipped and was nice and clean when we arrived. We will definitely stay again when we return to Spanish Wells!

We have stayed on Spanish Wells twice a year for five years in various rentals. This is a beautiful new home in a quiet location on a perfect stretch of the beach. The beach is a very short walk down a sandy path. The home is very clean, well stocked, and perfectly decorated and furnished. We wanted for nothing! If you are considering a stay in Spanish Wells, You can't go wrong with this perfect (barely off beach) rental! Perfect for families!

Great rental for families looking for fishing and a beach near the unit. There is a nice sand bar at the beach near the rental. Ideal for families with children.

3:23 cottage is an amazingly well-equipped rental. Very clean and well thought out, the house had everything under the sun you could possibly need while on vacation. We appreciated the complimentary water jugs, and for kids, the toy room and sand toys were the perfect addition. It is in a quite location with a great sandy backyard, complete with a seagrape tree that my Bahamian husband thoroughly enjoyed. Johnny was very accommodating, taxiing us from our boat to the house and renting us a golf cart. We are looking forward to returning!

This home is beautiful! Very near to the beach and Johnny and fam were great and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and we will be recommending to friends and family

We've always appreciated Spanish Wells for being a rustic outpost, but it's nice to have some of the comforts of home, which Brandi's cottage provides. Comfy king size bed in the master BR, spacious and well-appointed bathrooms, and cozy sectional in the living room, plus the kitchen is just fantastic whether it's 2 or 10 of you. Plenty of space to cook and have conversation. AC is great and Wi-fi works very well (though sometimes I wished it didn't, so I could better avoid work email). Abundant and fast hot water, and having the water cooler saved us many trips to Food Fair to buy gallons. The beach-just down the path-is in one of the best spots on the island. Because the cottage is tucked back off the main road, it's quiet pretty much day and night. We had wonderful nights' sleep. Johnny Underwood and his wife Nancy will help you with whatever you need on the island, and Brandi's notebook is also a great guide. Spanish Wells is coming to appreciate its tourists more, but it's still primarily a family- and fishing-focused settlement. I hope islanders can continue to find the balance! It's a special place.

We had the pleasure of staying in this cottage for 6 nights during our recent visit to Spanish Wells. It is located on a quiet side road and the beach is only a short walk away. The cottage is very clean and comfortable and the kitchen is extremely well-stocked. Johnny and Nancy, the caretakers, were so helpful and welcoming. They met us at the ferry dock, had the fridge stocked with a few grocery supplies we had requested, rented us a golf cart, and shared some helpful sightseeing tips. We fell in love with island living and the people of Spanish Wells. We would definitely come back again!

We had a great week in Spanish Wells. Two adults and two kids, 12 and 9. The house and location are perfect, the owner and caretaker are even better. The house was perfect, clean, well maintained and extremely close to the beach. The owner helped setup transportation to and from ELH and everything went perfect. I highly recommend this island and this house. Renting a golf cart is a must, it makes getting around a snap and is really fun, the beaches are fantastic with almost no one in sight, the grocery store was close and had everything you would find in an American grocery store. The owner Brandi was great in answering any questions and in assisting in everything you need on the island. The caretake Johnny was fantastic as well. We will be going back again soon.

This house worked out perfectly for us. My wife and I have two children (7 & 8) and it was a great setup. The house is conveniently close to town and prob 200 yards from the beach. We prob saw an average of 20 people on the beach each day.. There were sand dollars and seashells all over the beach. The house had 3 bedrooms, large tv , full kitchen and cold AC. Johnny is the caretaker and he showed up on time both on our arrival and departure. I would recommend renting a golf cart from Johnny and his wife . We would recommend this house to anyone traveling with kids

We loved staying at the 323 Cottage! Spanish Wells is really low-key and super relaxing. A gorgeous beach is a short walk from the house. The house is perfect - we were a family of four with 2 teenagers and had loads of space to cook, relax and hang out. The island is super fun. We enjoyed swimming/walking along the beach, jumping off the docks in Pelican Bay and touring in the town. It is a great place to relax. Highly recommended!

My husband and I went on our honeymoon here and had the most incredible week. This home and Spanish Wells are the perfect opportunity to get away from the more touristy aspects of the Bahamas and just relax on the beach! We would take the one minute walk to the gorgeous ocean every day, got to cook full meals in their incredible kitchen, used the paddle board/kayak to go out to a little island off the coast, drove around on a golf cart all week, snuggled on the comfy couch for movies through the smart TV, enjoyed the local restaurants and relaxed in a very well-kept, adorable home!! The owners are incredibly kind and generous and so are the people that greet you and help with any amenities you may be interested in. We definitely recommend staying here for an absolutely DREAMY beach trip!!

This wonderful rental home is on our minds again now that we are planning another vacation, and regret to say I missed the opportunity to leave a review earlier. 3 of us (my husband and I and a friend) rented the home through Johnny Underwood, longtime resident and property manager. Anything Johnny recommended to us we would consider, and we are so glad we trusted his advice on this one. The house is so comfortable and thoughtully furnished and supplied. The kitchen is stunning and a pleasure to work in. Clean and well equipped, this rental is a hop to the beach down a narrow, coconut palm and picket fence-lined path through a sand dune. You can opt to take the beach gear in the golf cart (rented separately from Johnny) instead if you want. This rental is perfectly located. Very quiet neighbourhood of a few private homes, and the dunes and beach just moments away. Within a few blocks of Kathy's bakery, the supermarket and a pleasant bike ride to the main settlement or Russell's Island, the house is great for families, older folks, couples alike.

Brandi was awesome to work with. She was very flexible and accommodating with our travel plans. She set up all of our transportation to and from the airport. She stayed in communication with us when we had questions. The island is fantastic. Great people all around. Highly recommend this trip. Thanks again Brandi for a great, first time experience.

Me, my husband, and our 3 kids stayed at Brandi's beautiful home for 2 weeks. The house is well taken care of and very clean (and I am extremely picky.....so that's saying a lot!). The house has everything you could need......lots of bath towels, beach towels, 3 beach chairs, dishes, vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, dish soap, some toilet paper and paper towel, hand soap in the bathrooms, lots of different spices for cooking, condiments in the fridge, BBQ, toys/books in kids bedroom, sand toys, and much more! The backyard of the house was so much fun for our kids. Tons of huge hermit crabs and lizards to find. The gorgeous beach is like a 2 minute walk from the house (or a super fast golf cart ride). The beach is even prettier in person. In the 2 weeks we were there we pretty much had the beach to ourselves every single day! Sooooo relaxing!! Tons of things to find there too. We found tiny hermit crabs, star fish, sand dollars, sea urchin, sea cucumbers, conch, and sooooo many different sea shells. A couple of helpful tips for your vacation in Spanish Wells: 1) Bring lots of cash or travellers cheques with you. Not everywhere on the island takes credit cards. The bank by the Food Fair Grocery Store is for locals only. There is a Royal Bank ATM (for Canadians and Americans to withdraw cash) but is was down most of the time. Buddah's restaurant will do cash advances on your credit card. 2) Groceries on the island are VERY expensive!!! Try and bring things from home like Kcups, snacks, etc. Brandi and her family have such a wonderful vacation rental. Brandi was such a pleasure to deal with. She actually cares about making sure her renters have a wonderful vacation. The caretakers of the property (Johnny and his wife Nancy) are also wonderful to deal with. We loved this house, as it is close to the beach, and to the grocery store. Tucked in a quiet community in the northern part of the island, rooster sounds were not noticeable. The walk to the beach is short and pleasant, along a picket-fence lined walkway shaded by palm trees. The kitchen is wonderful to cook in, and the centre island is magnificent. Comfy beds and lovely bathrooms are only part of this sweet house. A sitting area outside, under palm trees, with a rustic table and plastic deck chairs served as a great spot for coffee in the mornings. The owner is pleasant and prompt to reply. We will be returning!
