PRENOTA ORA! - NUOVO ELENCO A MAGGIO 2019 - Questo splendido chalet con 5 camere da letto e 2 bagni si trova in una zona tranquilla del Big Trees Village, a pochi passi dal Big Trees State Park. Questa casa di montagna può ospitare comodamente 8-10. (5 camere da letto, 2 bagni). La principale fonte di calore è il legno. Cucina rinnovata, piano piano aperto con ampio soppalco. Rannicchiati nella grande sala sul divano avvolgente in pelle di fronte alla stufa a legna e TV da 40 "con cavo Comcast. Questa casa offre anche Netflix e Amazon online per la visualizzazione degli ospiti. Il tavolo da pranzo in stile picnic può ospitare 8-10 persone. Il bar della cucina ha 4 sgabelli. Ci sono tre camere da letto al piano principale (1 letto king size, 1 letto queen size e 1 letto matrimoniale). We had a great experience. It was our first time visiting thr big trees area. There were a lot of things to do that we didn't get to do. The property fit our needs and had everything we needed. The prior communication was great as far as what to expect. There were a lot of family activities at the property itself that we enjoyed. The beds were comfortable and everything was provided, linnens, blankets and pillows. The bathrooms were clean and we had plenty of towels and tp, tissues etc. The kitchen was stocked with all the basics and had plastic bags and foil, basic spices and some cooking oil. The cons for us was there is no air conditioning. It got a bit uncomfortable.The house itself was clean, but could use a deep clean. I noticed a few places that could use some attention window sill in the upstairs bathroom had some dead bugs, cobwebs and spiders, baseboards were dusty, window screens were dirty. Everything else was great as far as cleanliness. There was a lot of sap on the deck and grounds. There was sap on the steps it seems like the property could use some tree work.Our family thought that the main couch was not very comfortable. And some of the games needed some attention. The air hocky table needs a new puck and the table itself has a piece of paneling that needs to be glued down. The ping pong net had a piece broken off and wasn't easy to clamp on and could be replaced. It worked well enough and we still had fun with it. We knew the hot tub was out of service before we arrived but it would have been nice to have. All in all we had a really fun time. This was a great property. I would return but maybe when the weather was cooler we were there in August and the temps were in the 90s it would be fine if it was even in the 80s

Great property with plenty of room. The kitchen was perfect for our family get together to eat, play games and enjoy each other. Located close to Bear Valley perfect for a snow trip with the kids.

weekend with family
We enjoyed our stay at the Karock Cabin. Everything was just as listed. Nice big dinner table to enjoy meals and much conversation together. Great wood burning stove with plenty of wood provided. Can't wait to someday return!

Nice mountain cabin
We had a fantastic time in this large but cozy cabin. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace, Wi-Fi was clear and never went out, and while there were enough trees and quiet to feel like we were “getting away”, Arnold offered plenty of stores for the things we forgot to bring. Definitely would stay again.

Overall, a great stay
Loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a proper cabin in the forest. Stayed in the summer and it was hot, and looking forward to possibly coming back during snow season. Note that pillows weren't provided due to covid. I didn't find out until an email came after I had already left home and was staying at a different property. We had to buy 8 pillows and stuff them into our already packed cars. Minor thing but worth planning ahead for.

Perfect for a large group
The house was the perfect jump off place for daily fun and adventure. We had 10 people (9 adults and 1 child) and the house fit us very well with plenty of common space for us to all be together or split up when needed. The house was pretty clean though the down stairs shower could use a deep clean especially the shower mat. Over all, perfect setting for our family vacation! Management were very sweet and we felt well taken care of.

Great House and Great Getaway
This cabin really has everything you need for a great getaway. Very spacious, very nice, clean and comfortable beds and the kitchen was equipped with dining supplies. Had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was easy and the internet connection was fast. The property was exactly as described, location was close to Lakes and Calaveras State Park and the neighborhood is quite. We had a great time and looking forward to returning again.

This charming cabin is spacious and has everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. It’s nestled in a beautiful red wood forest. The neighborhood has many beautiful cabins and friendly people. A big thanks to the owners for sharing!

Arrived with 12 inches of snow coming down. Cozy but large cabin, nicely fit our 7 adults and 3 kids for 4 nights. Quarter mile walk to access trail into Big Trees and nice spots for sledding. Hot tub an added plus on the covered patio.

Our family usually rents a house at Lake Tahoe. (Not the same house every year.) This year we decided to change the scenery, but the trees and the homes look like those around Lake Tahoe. And that's OK. We spent one day at White Pines Lake and another on a pontoon boat on New Melones Lake. Both lakes are reasonably close to Karock Cabin. At the cabin we enjoyed great meals, lots of music--we brought our guitars and a keyboard--and plenty of laughter. The cabin was perfect for us and I hope many other families will enjoy staying there. Special thanks to Maureen (Mo) and Anne.

Big Trees weekend
The house was perfect for our party (five adults, seven kids) and we loved our weekend in the big trees. Highly recommend going higher to Utica Reservoir to anyone looking for some fun on the water.

Cabin was spacious. Could easily sleep 10 guests.
Large kitchen equipped with the essentials and a large dining table. Nice Weber BBQ on the deck made for a great evening and meal.
Was clean and comfortable. Would stay again and recommend.
