A due minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia o dal bacino, e situato in un angolo, questo mantello con 4 camere da letto con veranda a tre stagioni e zona pranzo esterna con grill a gas è stato abilmente nominato senza perdere il fascino del cottage estivo. Comfort Cottage offre l'atmosfera di Plum Island con tutti i comfort di casa!
Questa camera da letto con quattro camere da letto può ospitare 8 persone ed è esattamente ciò di cui hai bisogno per un ritiro in famiglia!
Comfort Cottage mantiene il tradizionale armadio in legno di pino in cucina ed è completamente arredato ed elettrodomestici (tutto da un forno a microonde o una pentola di terracotta a un frullatore ad immersione). L'arredamento principale della casa ha un moderno fascino costiero e tutti i letti hanno materassi e lenzuola nuovi di zecca. Una camera da letto al piano superiore ha un letto matrimoniale e l'altra camera ha due letti singoli. Le due camere da letto aggiuntive al piano principale hanno anche letti queen size.

We had a wonderful time. Location was perfect. The island lost power due to an accident which caused some issues with the house power when we first arrived. The owner was quick to respond and to take care of the issue.

Our family (3 teenagers) had a perfect week at this cottage for our first stay on Plum Island. The cottage was perfect for our size family with plenty of room for everyone. We especially loved sitting in the front room. We enjoyed grilling and sitting outside. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed.
The location couldn’t have been better. Easy walk to a gorgeous beach and equally easy walk to a couple of fun restaurants, ice cream, and provisions. All communication with Ed was timely and professional. We fell in love with the low key lifestyle on Plum Island and would return to this cottage in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.

This cottage is in an amazing area and was perfect for our group of 8. Ed was even there when we arrived and answered our questions about the cottage and area. His cottage had everything and then some! On this island you will feel absolutely safe and will love the friendliness of everyone you meet. The nearby beach was very peaceful, no big crowds at all. Very scenic region, would want to stay longer next time!

We have just had a wonderful two weeks staying at the lovely Comfort Cottage, on the equally lovely Plum Island. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing beach holiday with plenty to see and do in the local area.

Cottage is exactly as listed. We loved the three season porch, great place to play games if it rains and enjoy the cool breeze in the mornings. We liked the outdoor seating but would have liked a little more lighting to enjoy it longer into the evening. Edward was extremely responsive and helpful when we needed. Our only suggestion would be an outside shower to get off all the sand, but we managed with the hose provided.

Clean, well stocked, comfortable home close to the bay, ocean and Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. Perfect location. Kind and communicative owner. We will be back!

We booked last minute and had no idea what to expect. The little cottage and surrounding neighborhood exceeded our expectations. Proximity to beach and the many things to do on not so great beach days were pluses. We enjoyed our stay and our adult children now want to make our stay a yearly tradition. How lucky is Ed to have such a wonderful space to enjoy and share. Ed make our check in and check out seamless. We felt comfortable and at home the entire ire week…..wishing it was longer. The ease of finding things and all needed amenities was something I appreciated. Thanks so much, hope to visit again!

This was a perfect property! We were 8 adults and never felt crowded. Loved walking to the beach, Mad Martha’s for breakfast, up to the jetty. We also loved the proximity to the nature preserve and Newburyport. The house was very clean and well appointed. We would happily come again!

Nice location
Rental as described...without air conditioning, house is very warm. Plenty of room, and great location. No cleaning fee, so lots of work to do upon leaving with laundry. All in all a nice rental.

We had a wonderful week at the beach! There was a heatwave and thankfully we had the ocean to swim in to cool down. We enjoyed eating out in Newburyport, shopping, and taking walks on the island. We will be back next summer for sure! The house was very clean. We walked in, unloaded our stuff and began our vacation. Anytime I reached out to the owner he was quick to respond. Can’t wait to go back!

Family beach vacation!

Extended Stay
I had the pleasure to enjoy this property for a 5-week long stay. I even got to celebrate the holidays on the Island.
It's perfect for not only a long weekend away, but also a longer extended one, like mine. Very spacious with the beautiful porch. It's in a perfect location - located on a quiet road, but close enough to walk to several of the Island's highlights.

Awesome house in a beautiful place!
I decided to take advantage of working remotely and I rented the Comfort Cottage for a few weeks to unwind in October and November. I was by myself so there was more than enough space. The house had everything you could need and Ed was really responsive before, during, and after the process. I'm very sensitive to noise and this place was on a side street and super quiet. 2 min walk to the beach and 1 min walk to the basin. Very relaxing. I liked the location because you were within walking distance to the few shops/restaurants on the island. I tried out every bedroom and all beds were comfortable. Overall I highly recommend the Comfort Cottage!

Great house! Amazingly stocked. There literally wasn’t anything lacking. Plenty of room to spread out for adults and kids. Great outdoor space! The owner was very responsive to questions. The location is good the beach is A few minutes walk, there are a few places nearby for good and groceries. Overall a great stay! We’ll be returning!

Wonderful Time at Plum Island!
We had an amazing time at the Cozy Cottage. Perfect for our family. Short walk to the beach and PI’s few restaurants. Cottage was very clean and well appointed. Staying here was one of our best vacation rental experiences!

Plum Island Stay
This is a great place to stay if you have 3-4 teens in tow, which is not always easy to find on Plum Island... The house is roomy with a nice patio area and is within a 5-minute walk from a reasonably quiet portion of the beach (and its infamous sand bar). The owner is very responsive.

Great property!
The cottage was clean, the location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach. The newly updated porch was lovely, and the landlord was very considerate. I would highly recommend staying here!

Great cottage
This cottage has several virtues. It has plenty of parking which many cottages do not. It really does have 4 separate bedrooms with great beds. It has a large and comfortable porch. It has a well-stocked kitchen and a nice outdoor patio for grilling and socializing. And it is a five minute walk to a part of the the beach where there are never many people. We loved it.

Perfect place for our family
This is the second summer we've stayed at The Comfy Cottage. We love it here because there's plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Having the huge front room/porch is especially nice - it's filled with sunlight in the morning and gets nice breezes at night. The weather was great this week with lots of good beach days and multiple trips to Newburyport, which included going on a whale watch. We saw minke whales, dolphin pods leaping out of the water, plus mother and calf humpbacks! We'll definitely be back next summer. Thanks, Ed!
