The house is comfortable and the location is perfect in Portree but this house is an home staging house and the price is really too high; some materials need to be better, for the floor for example ; some details could be improved and one problem very dangerous on the bed in a room has to be repaired

Arriving at this property, it looked like a construction zone. We hardly had room to turn in to be off the street. When I called, the property manager met us and informed us that the deck was being redone which should have been finished when we arrived, but obviously wasn't. She assured us that we would not be bothered and honestly, we were not bothered in the least after we settled in. We still should have been advised of the project prior to arriving. We found the property very clean and comfortable. We only used 2 bedrooms which we found very spacious and welcoming. We all slept very well and the en suite bathrooms were very convenient with good water pressure in the showers. The kitchen area was a bit intimidating with its jazzy modern appliances, but we figured them out without too much bother. I would suggest that kitchen utensils be better stocked with spatulas, etc. as we had to improvise. The traffic lanes around the property were very narrow and took a bit getting used to. We could walk to the harbor area easily, but there was a steep hill back to the house which was too much for a couple of us. The views from the house were beautiful - one of the advantages of being on a hill - and once we settled in, we were totally comfortable. I would stay here again (with a completed deck) and wold recommend to others.

Awesome house and location. Initially had a problem with internet access, but they sent someone over to fix it. Would definitely stay there again.

Great house. Exactly meet the description. But note, house is located on cliff above beach, not right on beach as it seems in the pictures. The bathtub in main bedroom seems nice, but not really practical. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Loved this house with plenty of room for all 6 of us. The view was beautiful, location perfect and the little added touches to decorate the house were perfect for feeling at home. They even left us a bottle of wine to enjoy! Would definitely come back to Skye Bay!

Please feel free to share my experience. Everything about This location is perfect. A short walk to pubs, shops, everything we needed. The accommodations are more than comfortable, very clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything needed to breakfasts and dinner. Plenty of room for 5 adults. The highways leading in every direction are easily accessible

Best place to stay in Skye

We had a wonderful stay at Skye Bay. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable and exactly as pictured. It was a short 2 minute walk to all the attractions, shopping and restaurants in Porter and easy access to the rest of Skye. The house was well-appointed and had everything we needed, including the very helpful clothes washer and dryer. Would absolutely stay again!

Amazing view in a great home with nice accommodations. Would 1000% recommend. Location is excellent very close to town and situated on a cliff overlooking the harbor.

(+) location, u get what is mentioned in the listing, the host was kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine (we absolutely loved the gesture), the house was spick n span with plenty of towels (-) shower stalls are a tad smaller (for me it was ok, but I am sure a tall well built person may find it v tight), couldn’t find an umbrella ( we forgot to pack it and it was reqd)

This was our favorite house during our Scotland tour. Beautiful views and the upstairs bedroom with the bathtub is amazing. Clean and updated with plenty of space.

We really enjoyed our stay. Amazing view, comfortable and well-appointed accommodations, a friendly, helpful, and super-responsive host. Just a great experience all around. We were happy to be out of the busiest area during the busiest month and enjoyed our short walks in and out of town. We were glad that we had booked all of our dining reservations months ago, but could easily have put a meal together and enjoyed it on the deck with that great view, kitchen was perfectly outfitted! Online and phone communications with property management were excellent and responsive. The location was very good, short walk to town, and the view was very nice. The house was very clean and the beds comfortable. However, for 7 adults the place was very cramped. It is advertised as 5382 sq.ft. on the website. This home could not be more than 2500 sq.ft. Not sure what they were measuring, maybe the lot. There is not a coffee table or end tables in the living room, so if we were having wine/hors d'ouevres before dinner there was no place to put anything. We ended up pulling one of the benches from the dining table to the living room to set down wine glasses and plates of food if we were gathering there. Then we'd have to put the bench back. The benches and wire chairs in the dining room were uncomfortable for sitting any period of time. The kitchen is big, but has a very small table & 2 high chairs, so people had to eat in dining room if we all wanted to be together. There is no Coffee Maker! You can only make instant coffee, which no one in America drinks. We had to walk to the village every morning if you wanted real coffee. The railing on the steps leading to the kitchen door need to be attended to. They are loose and wobbly.

This property is an attached house in a great location, with parking. It was clean and comfortable. The beds are a double, two queens and twins. Bathrooms are small but very clean. The exterior is a little scruffy but for what we needed it was perfect.

Lovely place to start and explore Isle of Skye. Fast and good communnication with our host plus a lot of detailed Information regarding the Isle and Portree. Eveything was clean, the kitchen is huge and has all that was needed for a big breakfast and dinner. The cozy Living room makes the stay much more enjoyable during a rain shower. The great view over the Port was memorable. We would recommend the stay and come again.

We really enjoyed staying at this home. It was well equipped and clean. The location is great with a beautiful view and just a few minute walk to the center of town. We felt very comfortable staying here and will definitely try to do so again the next time we visit Portree.

We simply loved our stay here. Lots of space for the kids to play about, easy access to all major tourist attractions nearby and the service levels are superb. Ben was very responsive and looked after us well. Highly recommend!

Perfect stay in Skye. We felt relaxed and all amenities are there. No issues checking in, during our stay and check out. Would love to go back again with the family. It's a lovely home away from home.

We spent two nights at Skye Bay at the end of September and didn't want to leave!! The house has plenty of space, it's been decorated in a lovely way and the location is perfect. The kitchen is fab (everything is super high spec) and the view from it is awesome. Shout out to the team who run this, for being so great and quick on communication. I'd absolutely stay here again!

What a wonderful place to be, setting is perfect and a short walk in to Portree with many great restaurants and bars to sample. One point to not is that the bedrooms lack storage or hanging space but apart from the this is a fantastic holiday let.

Very spacious 4 bedroom house. Large kitchen & dining lounge. Coped with 8 adults easy. Decking area with bay view. I would recommend the cottage for 6 - 8 people. Great location for Shops. Bars & restaurants. For improvements Large master room with seaviews and a bath. There could be a shower in the room also. No door to the toilet area. No privacy when needed. The twin room downstairs needs new mattresses. As couples 4 double beds would have been good or an option to join single beds together. Well equipped kitchen utensils But No frying pan. Hedges to front door entrance need trimmed back.
