I have never had the opportunity to stay in a 700 year old apartment! It has been modernized and is very clean and wonderfully cool during hot days. So much history and right in old town. The best part was it’s so easy to go for a dip in the Adriatic Sea, just a short walk to the buza bars where my husband and I enjoyed iced coffees or a lemon beer after a swim while reading and writing in the shade of an umbrella. This place has a well-equipped kitchen with large fridge, range, utensils, pots and pans. There is a small grocery around the corner with fresh food and lots of yummy treats. Of course, do not miss the nearby restaurants. Our favorite was Pizza Olivia. This apartment basically has everything you need for a wonderful stay.

It was within the old city walls which was amazing. Everything was convenient and close. Bottle of wine was a nice touch. It was awesome to have a coffee maker. Bed was very comfortable too.

A lot of stairs to get to the apartment but we kind of were expecting that and it was only coming and going into the place once.

Perfect location and has everything you could possibly need. Easy to get to from Ploce gate. Lots of stairs going up to our apartment, but it makes for a quiet little getaway in the best part of the old town. Kate was very responsive and accommodating. Their taxi driver, Mario, was very nice and knowledgeable.

Gorgeous place, close to water front and all the old city sites. We easily found the walk up Srđ from the apartment. Our meet and greet, Kate, was terrific, caring, helpful and responsive. There are stairs but wide enough and well lit. Being close to the Cathedral meant closed shutters for sleeping but the day light views were great. Tasteful, comfortable and well equipped apartment 👌

The apartment was very spacious with a beautiful view of the cathedral. It was located within the walls of the old town. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was clean with great water pressure. Kate, our host, was very accessible. I highly recommend Saraca Palace for a stay in Dubrovnik.

Everything was great. The stairs may be bit challenging if someone had difficulty climbing stairs.

Everything was perfect! Amazing host, spacious, comfortable and great location/view! shower is huge and living area is nice. Washer in unit. A/C works great. Would stay here again!

Kate was a wonderful hostess. She went above and beyond. Very responsive to any questions/issues. The driver/guide (Mario) she connected us with was outstanding. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable and had all the amenities.

Fantastic property in an amazing location!! Apartment was clean and well stocked with everything we needed... especially Hair Dryer and 3 large Beach Towels! Tea, Coffee and Water bottle also there for us. Booking was a breeze and Magdelana answered all questions quickly. Kate met us, was wonderful, and gave us the tour and information about the apartment and city. She was also available for any questions that came up.

OK - it's a European country so we should expect it- but I wouldn't stay here if you have any problems climbing stairs to your apartment. Was fine for us, but there were several flights of skinny stairs to climb up (kind of hard with the luggage). Also- the comfy queen bed is lofted... so up and down stairs to go to bed or get up in the middle of the night. Made for a lovely, spacious apartment, but if you don't feel comfortable with that, this isn't the apartment for you.
