Off the Camino trail for sure but so worth it. A friend who had previously done the Camino recommended this place to us and we are glad we took his advice. The buildings and grounds are beautiful!! Stunning. Such a relaxing and tranquil environment. We only got to spend a little time in the pool and walking around before it unfortunately rained while we were there. Great night's rest. Appreciated that dinner was served on the premises. Really good food choices to pick from!! Definitely see us coming back and staying for a longer period of time :)

This property is exceptional. The rooms are beautiful, on-site meals were excellent and the grounds are simply stunning! Beautifully manicured grounds with palm trees, flowering terraces, a waterfall into the pool, and several patios to enjoy the fresh air by sun or shade. We would love to return for a future stay.

the vicinity itself was amazing and very beautiful to roam the estate itself, albeit it would be nice to have the actual paths open for tracks and hikes

that it was a bit far away from the town if the was to roam around Caldes de Reis streets

As other reviewers commented the place is magical. Waterfalls inside the property and the owners have taken great care to look after the entire place. I was on the camino de Santiago route with next place booked otherwise would happily stay one more night!

There is no hot water kettle in the room (as some other places in the region). The staff kindly gave me some hot water (from the coffee machine in the restaurant) but tasted like coffee - completely undrinkable. At check out I found out I was then asked to pay 5 euros for that! After talking to the staff they agreed to reduce the charge to 1 euro. I was grateful for that but would have been better if I was informed about the charges up front (this is the very first time I am charged for hot water by a hotel).
