The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The grounds are huge and have beautiful gardens - a perfect play place for children.

We really enjoyed the serenity/peacefulness at the property. The activities were awesome - there's more than enough for you to do in and around the property. The gardens are so well-kept and it is very evident that the owners put a lot of effort into constantly improving the common areas. The best thing about the room was the fireplace (in the cold weather) and cleanliness. The noise levels were minimal.

There were no dietary options for halaal. I understand if halaal meats etc are not easily accessible but then they should make an effort to cater properly for vegetarian foods that are prepared separately in terms of utensils/cookware etc. so that the guests can eat on the property without hesitation of food preparation instead of having to leave the property to find halaal foods. Waiters were not sure if the veg foods were prepared separately so we were not comfortable eating the cooked foods. Some of the furnishings in the rooms could be upgraded but it's not too bad.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating at check in and throughout the stay. My husband and I visited during our honeymoon and thoroughly enjoyed everything Spier had to offer - multiple dining options, a spa, wine tasting, bike rentals, picnic areas, etc.

My Room was great! Breakfast was great too! Their wine (their own vineyard) was excellent and discounted to a very reasonable price for guests

rooms were big but quite dark and cold. a bit dated but all in all ok.

The breakfast had something for everyone and was delicious. The rooms were clean and the village style rooms were cute

No room service after 9, a few options should be a available such as toasted sandwiches. Or a stocked mini bar even if it’s cost to client. The mini bar didn’t even have milk for our morning coffee which are just the basics. We had to run to the BP late at night just to have something to nibble on

Beautiful property, immaculate, exquisitely decorated, comfortable and spacious rooms. Food was amazing, lovely atmosphere, plenty of space. Can't rate it highly enough - thoroughly recommend.
