It may not be as glitzy as other well known brands and it might not have a pool, but so what? In terms of value for money, great rooms and friendly staff it is 5*.
Hard to say. It did what is said on the tin, and overall exceeded my expectations.

Location was nice
i gave in laundry, it was only delivered after 10pm the following evening. And my clothes was mixed up with other peoples clothes. My children also got a allergic reaction from the clothes that came back from the laundromat. The laundry service is expensive.
They can also invest in more comfortable seats in the lounge areas of the room.
They have a lot of Loadshedding.

Het was schoon, rustige en veilige locatie, vriendelijk personeel, erg fijn was de beveiligde (gratis) parkeergarage onder het hotel voor onze huurauto
Het ligt ca 15 min buiten het levendige centrum (v&a waterfront), het is best wel een gedateerd hotel, maar daar is de prijs ook naar.

The suites are spacious with individual lounge areas separated from the main bedroom. There is a television in each separated space. For all of my stays, the staff have always been accommodating, friendly, and open to help. The venue is situated within walking distance from the shopping mall, giving access to many retail outlets and restaurants.

Chambre très grande, nous avions réservé le penthouse et une chambre. Nous avons pu être collé juste à côté et donc nous avons pu ouvrir les portes entre les chambres. Lits confortables, chambres propres, personnel au petit soin.
Bon petit déjeuner et bon restaurant, nous avons bien mangé!
Le parking gratuit et surveillé.
Les chambres manquent peut être un peu d'isolation, il y avait beaucoup de vents quand nous y étions et il y avait des sifflements dans les chambres.
Le bruit des VMC dans les douches assez forts et en continue : à faire réparer peut être ?
Proche d'un immense centre commercial. Un peu "éloigné" du centre mais nous avions notre véhicule et nous y étions en 25 min (avec bouchons) mais cela ne nous a pas dérangé plus que ça.

The room was very spacious, the beds and pillows comfortable and the staff pleasant to interact with
The check-in was extremely delayed, I had requested an earlier check in because I was coming from another hotel and was told they would make a note.
Nonetheless we ended up arriving at 14:20pm, 20 minutes after the normal check-in of 14:00pm and to our surprise the room was not ready - it had not been cleaned, we only ended up checking in at 15:40pm, this was completely unacceptable!
The next day we were ready to go to the beach at 10:30am so I went to reception to ask for beach towels and was told they are in the dryer - that it would take another 20min, another disappointment.
The last straw was finding that our room was still not cleaned by 16:00pm - the housekeeping service really leaves little to be admired, it was utterly disappointing!

The view was fantastic! So calming watching the city lights, great way to wind down after a business filled day.
The staff were exceptional. All round good vibes.
Outside was slightly noisy due to cars but most of them beinf nice sounding cars so it didnt really bug me at all

Liked the location, close to bars, restaurants and shoppings, Transport also always available.
Zone is very secure.
Also enjoyed the mountain view from my bedroom.
The restaurant inside the hotel has some good food.
Bar could close later (but it is the same hour for all the bars)... :)
