For this price there is no such think i did not like

Balcony on the inside of the courtyard with a view of the sanitary facilities. bad smell from this place. a closed jacuzzi on the roof about which no one informed us. (on booking there was information that it was closed a few months earlier but not now). Overall, the hotel's glory days are behind it. Food average. Little choice

Nice staff, good facilities and great location

Loads of exchange students making it loud and hard to sleep, facilities often full with the children and hard to relax. No air con meant we got bitten loads

The Hotel was WAY better than I would ever expect. The staff was super friendly and informative, you could truly feel they do their best with a genuine smile on their faces. Food was good and we would always leave the canteen with full bellies and happy :D There's a bus station almost right in front of the hotel from where u can get to practically anywhere in the island. Highly recommended place!

Breakfast was great, and if you do not include lunch/dinner in what you pay, €15 for it is a pretty good price.

The reception doesn't let the cleaning people know what room in occupied and what room isn't, and they will open your door in the middle of the day if they don't hear you after they knock at your door. Also the toilet in our room bursted and started leaking water all over. The plumbing system I not good.

Breakfast food good but it was chaotic in ques. Evening meals good with less pressure on tables.

Lifts very slow, only 2 for a fully booked hotel, 200 plus guests, receptionist could be more engaging, responses to questions on local transport were minimalist.

Clean, good breakfast, european socket, good ventilation, simple and kind staff.

Bit old fashioned but added character and felt like staying in Malta 😁, ordered room with balcony and view, got a view into 3 walls

The food on the whole was very good. The meal on sunday evening was excellent. We got around the island both by buses and taxis so not a problem there.

We were quite happy with everything.

What we liked: 1) Spacious balcony 2) TV with many English channels and funny Maltese ones 3) Fridge 4) Kettle

Since this information was not (obviously) included in the description of this hotel, here are a few things to expect before arriving: 1) Awful breakfast - the food was tasteless, the coffee was exceptionally bad. Although there is quite a range to chose from, I could tell the products used for food making were very cheap. 2) When we first entered our room we saw a few small puddles of (hopefully) water near the bed. the bathroom felt not cleaned thoroughly enough. 3) Absurd, tasteless, kitsch live music “concert” that we happened to witness on the Saturday evening. We felt sorry for the guy singing 2000’s pop songs, maybe he was kidnapped? (the last part of this sentence is certainly a joke) 4) Since we were staying at the end of February, rooms were quite chilly because no heating was available. 5) Indoor swimming pools felt unhygienic. All of the walking areas around the pool were flooded with water and they seem to be very rarely cleaned. Some people put their outdoor shoes near the pool where people are supposed to pass by. 6) It’s not a big thing but the elevator was extremely slow. 7) Some weird rules you have to follow, for example, not being allowed to use towels from your room for the pool. Overall, this comment on negatives seems to be long and may be perceived as arrogant. However, the point I’m trying to make here is that budget hotels DON’T HAVE TO include breakfast, pools, gyms etc. However, if they are willing to provide such extra services, then maybe it would be logical to make them good? Not in extravagant luxurious sense but just providing the bare minimum: hygiene, functionality, supervision.

Location

Many things like no swimming pool on the roof, but advertised, food was not the best, but ok for that price. Have seen many better 4star hotels than this one.

This hotel should have higher average rate that it is shown at booking.com. Very good quaity comparing to price. Very good dinners and good breakfasts.

worst hotel i have ever stayed in. Smelly, dirty room, old mattresses, no window to the outside. Stay away

It was pretty and close to the city centre

The bed sheets were unclean at times

you get whatever you pay for. very nice and friendly staff. good food. no problems at all.

Food is ok, location ok for trips around the island with rent a car. Children playground and the park accross the road.

Beds are not comfortable - they're like from 70's/80's, tooo soft and you feel every spring in it :( Car parking not guaranteed (free public areas only).

Breakfast boring in selection and in taste. Hotel pretty old. Indoor swiming pool deteriorating. Small elavators and therefore long waiting. Location is pretty far from sea and restaurants.
