Good location. Parking available. Clean and comfortable.

Location for Leuven centre is good.... it's a short walk away from all major points of interest ( and Leuven itself is beautiful). Bed was comfortable and there's air conditioning, which is useful because the Stella Artois HQ/from factory across the road generates some pungent odours during the night....don't have the window open.

I usually steer clear of booking with large chain hotels as I find them sterile and lacking in customer service. This hotel did nothing to change my preconceptions. 3 reception staff encounters, 2 of which were bordering rude and a 3rd who came across as bored. Seriously lacking interpersonal skills. The icing on the cake upon leaving was them insisting we pay for a breakfast we had neither booked nor taken. We will not be returning to a Novatel. I could go on, but there's not enough space. Just a final point.....paper cups (1 each) in the room for making tea/coffee? Shampoo in the bathroom but no shower gel? , 1 tea bag between 2 people? ...really?

Very good breakfast and late check out at 12.

A bit more distant from the center than I expected - it is about 20 mins walk to the main square.

Nice hotel friendly staff. Apart from the diner which was not what we expected from a Novotel (burgers and pizza), we had a nice stay.
