Excellent stay. Immaculate and we were very well provided for. Very comfortable especially on a wet day. Location ideal for our purpose.

Parking on the road very late at night. Cannot see any remedy there.

I have stayed twice at this beautiful home and both times have really enjoyed it! it’s very clean and comfortable, the owners have excellent communication and are very friendly. The area is located nicely and isn’t too noisy, even with being on the main road. The bed was so comfortable and excellent facilities at the air bnb. Suitable place to stay whether as a couple or family get away. I would 100% recommend! 🤍

The cottage was perfect for our family visit

The parking was a bit difficult during pub opening hours, but it is the week before Christmas.

Great location, ideal for Sussex down walks, perfect for a small to medium dog, town & rail network short distance away.

Perfect, cosy, well equipped cottage. Great location to visit our relatives & just next door to the Red Lion where we dined. Very clean & even some ground coffee which was a nice touch.

No complaints at all. However it might have been an added bonus to have a basket of logs to light the log burner. Stairs may be a little steep for some visitors but fine for us.

It is absolutely amazing cottage, really comfortable, perfect for 4 people. Second bedroom is quite small but that was not a problem for us. The beds are extremely comfortable, I have never sleep better in my life 😁 Strongly recommend this cottage.

Lack of wardrobe might be a issue if you have a lots of clothes but I found this as a minor issue

It was great having our own cottage that was very well equipped. We had a great time staying here. The cottage had everything we needed as a family with 2 young kids. It was clean and we got good instructions for entering the cottage. I liked the small bathroom lights that light up in the night when going to the toilet :-) The host was very friendly and replied quick to my questions (contact via Booking.com)

For us it was fine, but if can provide feedback: I can imagine people miss a place in the small room to put bags and clothes (wardrobe). We we're travelling with young kids, their stuff was in our room. If I was travelling with older kids or maybe two adult couples, I would definitely miss a wardrobe in the small room. In the big room an extra dressoir with drawers might be a good addition to the one that's already in.

The cottage was tastefully decorated, clean and in good order. It had all the amenities that one would want for stay away from home. The shower in the bathroom was excellent and the night time light sensor was a really good idea.

The dripping tap in the kitchen. Off street parking was a bit of a lottery, especially next to a pub.

Loved all the little extras at the property - the owners had gone over and above. Lots of board games and kitchen extras. TVs in every room which my son loved! Lovely shower and well decorated. Nice to have a garden. Lots of places to go with kids within half an hour.

The only negatives for the property were already explained by the hosts (lack of storage in 2nd bedroom) so we just pulled suitcases out from under the bed when clothes were needed!

Perfect cosy little cottage with a high standard of finish. Fantastic that they allow dogs too.

The cottage is lovely for a little get away and is close to some very lovely country walks, villages and pubs. The cottage was very well presented, clean and good communication with the host!

We were disappointed that there were no logs/firelighters/kindling/matches for the log fire. One of the reasons we chose this property was for a cozy stay by the log fire over New Years, we rushed to the shops on NYE to buy it all but they didn't have everything we needed, so this was a real shame. Also I have read other guests remark about the smell of dog in the cottage, and we have to agree, I am not sure if there were pets staying before us, but there was certainly a smell that lingered throughout our stay. Finally, the master bed mattress was two singles put together which was quite uncomfortable. Overall it was a pleasant stay, just a few things to consider to improve for future guests.

Great walks , lovely beach & two great pubs within walking distance. Clean , well equipped & tastefully decorated. Very Cosy!
