We got a better room as the air-con wasn't working in our original room so we ended up with a larger brighter room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and in a good location.

The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. We needed to order it the night before and mine was fine, essentially lots of fresh fruit but my wife's was a kind of cold porridge with a few nuts and dried fruits on top.

We have had the privilege of living in and traveling through Bulgaria for almost 6 years now. Among all the hotels we've stayed in, this one truly stands out as an exceptional gem. From the moment we stepped into the beautiful reception area, we knew we were in for a remarkable experience. The staff's professionalism and incredible helpfulness made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout our stay. The hotel's attention to detail impressed us both greatly. The thoughtfully provided amenities, such as full-sized toiletries and fresh, crisp bed linen, made our stay all the more comfortable. We appreciated the little touches such as full sized duvets, plush pillows, large towels, and makeup flannels, added an extra touch of luxury to our time here. Bulgarian hotels don’t always have these things, and so they really stood out to us. You can clearly see so much thought has gone into each and every element of this hotel, even down to the small things like multiple foot mats so you can always have a dry one. One of the highlights was the breakfast in bed, served at the time we requested. The experience was nothing short of perfect, allowing us to indulge in a delicious morning meal while enjoying the comfort and coziness of our room The staff's dedication to ensuring our stay was exceptional shone through in every interaction. They were friendly, respectful, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our time there truly special. The hotel's location pleasantly surprised us, being on a different side of Sofia than we had previously experienced. The area was charming, with numerous fantastic restaurants and bars within walking distance in all directions. Plus, having the iconic Alexander Nevski Cathedral just down the road added a cultural charm to our stay. As a couple, we can confidently say that this hotel holds a special place in our hearts, and we're already looking mforward to returning in the future.

While our stay at the hotel was overall wonderful, we do have a few suggestions that we believe could enhance the experience for future guests: 1. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room for added convenience, as we enjoy having a cup of coffee every now and then. Some bottled water would be great too. 2. The air conditioning could have been cooler or turned on before our arrival, as the room felt a bit warm initially. 3. The water temperature in the shower was a bit temperamental, fluctuating from cold to hot and back again. This was quite frustrating but luckily as it’s summer a cold shower wasn’t terrible 4. We noticed that there was no plug for the bath, which was sad as we couldn’t enjoy the beautiful bath. 5. While the breakfast provided was perfect for us, we weren't asked about our drink preferences and were served a short black coffee without milk. It would be great if guests were offered various drink options the day before to cater to different preferences. However, we want to emphasize that these are merely suggestions, and we are confident that if we had brought up any of these concerns, the attentive staff would have addressed them promptly. The staff's dedication to ensuring we were completely catered for and satisfied was evident throughout our stay, and we believe they would have been more than willing to accommodate any requests or preferences we might have had. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at the hotel and would gladly return in the future. These suggestions are meant to provide helpful feedback and not to detract from the exceptional service and amenities offered by the hotel and its staff.

We were made feel very welcome by the reception staff who did everything possible to ensure we enjoyed our stay. As we were leaving early in the morning breakfast was brought to our room the night before & placed in the fridge. The location was perfect to stroll around & find cafes & restaurants as well as walk to the sights. The rooms have been newly refurbished testily & were very spacious & top quality. We highly recommend this hotel.

Staff- supportive, proffessional, hospitable and smiling. Location - parks, shops, restaurants and pubs at walking distance. Athmosphere of the hotel- authentic house from the 3th decade of the 20th century, authentic furniture, cozy and spactious rooms. Excellent breakfast! Pets are wellcome.

The location is great. Its in a tiny beautiful street, full of small cute restaurants. the staff were very kind and smiley. I like the interior in our room. It was very cozy

We stayed in the penthouse room, which was beautiful but there were three windows in the bedroom area and there weren’t any curtains or blinds so when the sun rise at around 6/7 am we woke up and couldn’t sleep afterwords. another thing was that the pillows were so soft, so a bit uncomfortable. Keep in mind there isn’t a parking which the hotel provide. So we paid 20 euros and the hotel staff were sending sms for the parking zone outside.

The staff were amazing. They were so helpful proving me local advice and contacts. I felt at home and supported which is not what you expect from hotel accomodation. The location is great and they have a lovely restaurant. Highly recommend!
