Nothing really, the beds we’re comfortable enough and it had hot running water.

When we arrived the room looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned or reset from the last visitors. The bins had not been emptied and were overflowing. We asked staff for some small bin bags and were given a large refuse bag instead. The bed hadn’t been made properly and the bathroom needed a good clean. At night the room was very cold and there was no way of turning the heating on. Flat screen TV was over 10 years old and most of the channels didn’t work or had poor signal. Some plug sockets didn’t work at all and the trouser press was next to useless. The shower was very small and didn’t drain effectively.

A great New Year's Eve Event. The buffet was lovely. The staff were helpful and efficient.

The entertainment was just too loud, the floor was reverberating. No afternoon snacks or hot drinks available. Would have been nice to be offered continental breakfast at least.

Location was great only 13min walk from the train station. Staff were friendly would definitely stay again.

Everything about the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, we also had lunch which was equally as nice The location of the hotel was great - within walking distance for the racecourse and plenty of bars and restaurants in the near vicinity too Colin and his staff are so welcoming and helpful, would certainly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back

Bedroom being a Superior Double Room could have had some glass tumblers - and some toiletries in the en-suite bathroom would have been welcome

Overlooks Regent Square, handy to take the dog out.

Very hard,uncomfortable bed in Room 6, so did not sleep well. Uneven floorboards made wardrobe doors rattle when you passed. Undercounter fridge is on a plinth of loose wood, so it comes out whenever you open its door.

Clean and value for price and staff was lovely.

Was woken up a few times with the door in hallway banging as room as situated next to it.
