Stuff was very friendly, the restaurant at the hotel is also amazing.

Location, location, location is normally used when buying a property but in this case it applies to this hotel and it has parking which in a place like Sintra is a huge benefit. Service was excellent as was the buffet breakfast. I great place to visit this lovely but hilly township.

Can't think of anything except of course the pricing but thats just being picky and maybe the driving directions which in that hilly/windy/narrow place need to be even more user friendly!

Rooms are nice. They have great views Location is great. Right in the center of the town. All their staff is great. The helped us a lot. Gave us lots of great advice on how to get to the important places . We will stay in this hotel again if we go back to this lovely town

The attitude of the man in the Reception.....he tried to issue an invoice for three times and in the end he promised to send it to my email.....not event today - almost one week distance, I did not receive it. He explained as he missed the name company he has to ask the accountancy to change the invoice....but did not get back to me. Even if you have bad news for the client....it is very important the way you transmit them.

Location, location, location. Was very well located in the middle of Sintra. Enjoyed walking from the hotel around the town.

Wifi was not dependable at all. My phone was able to connect, but I had to work one morning, and just could not get the Wifi to connect.

A localização otima, bem central, compensa a falta de charme deste hotel. Estilo moderno mas sem graça. Tem tudo mas falta um toque especial para faze-lo ser lembrado.

Este esquema atual de sabonete liquido, preso na parede do chuveiro, é muito complicado. Tem que se retorcer toda e ainda por cima escorre para o chão.

La ubicación es espectacular. NH ha hecho una gran adquisición en un sitio emblemático.

Han remodelado las zonas comunes que están muy bien . Ahora deben modernizar las habitaciones, puertas, armarios, etc

Overhead shower was not working and the handheld shower bracket also broke.

הצוות היה חברותי ומסביר פנים החדרים מרווחים , גדולים, ערכת קפה ומים חופשי , מסעדת המלון היתה מעולה , אכלנו שם ארוחת ערב והיה סופר טעים.

Die Lage ist super, leider ist es mit dem Auto nicht so einfach zu finden, denn sowohl das Navi von Google als auch Here WeGo leiten nicht immer richtig zum Ziel, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist sehr gut und das Personal sehr sehr freundlich.

Im Bad auf Zi 809 ist der Türstopper aus dem Boden gerissen und das sicher nicht seit unserem Aufenthalt. Das Personal an der Rezeption spricht Englisch, aber viel zu schnell. Hier wäre eine Schulung gut, denn bei Gästen dienicht so gut Englisch sprechen, ist es besser wenn das Personal langsamer spricht.

The location of the hotel is its strongest point by far. The property itself is not in the top shape, but it is more than decent with very comfortable beds, clean rooms, spacious newly refurbished bathroom and a good size balcony with a view of the National palace. It is located right in the center of Sintra, which is very convenient for all the sightseeing and shopping and restaurants, but might be awkward getting Uber to pick you up, because the streets in the center can be congested. All in all, a great spot for exploring Sintra, I would love to return and would choose the NH Hotel again. The strongest point of the NH Hotel are the staff, everybody was very kind and helping.

There is a strong smell of the drains in the bathroom, but that is the way it is in all the buildings in the old part of town..it is something that cannot be changed easily. My friends payed for an extra breakfast, 14 euros if you book it the night before and 17 if you ask for it in the morning...they claim it is not worth the money. I prefered having my breakfast in the nearby cafes and enjoying a coffee and pastel de nata with a view.

Bathroom with design but not functional at all. The bassin was too high, the tap pipe too short. The water flowed back down the tap to the cabinet. No scrub for the wc and the small shower was not working "ducha higiénica". The shower pipe had leaks. Poor shower space and slippery.

Property was clean and it’s proximity to Central Sintra could not be better! I arrived late, and there was no food to be found, except by the amazing Bar staff – Diogo and Hugo. Those two made my short stay amazing. They cut up fruit for me to tide me over till the morning. We shared stories and many laughs in a very short!  They really connected with me as a guest! Professional, extremely courteous, and hilarious! Do not lose these employees, because they make the hotel great! Couldn’t say more other than to give them a raise which, hopefully if you share with them, they will probably tell their boss “I told you, so!” Hopefully she gives them one!! (and they did not put me up to this - LOL!). in hotels, and I recognize great talent when I see it.

Only downside is the parking. Had to park on the street so make sure you don’t arrive late.

This hotel I located within east walking distance from the city center of Sintra. We could hear the street performers and see the beautiful city right from our balcony.

Our shower head didn’t work properly, but overall the stay was great.

Poor bedrooms, smelly, with faulty air conditioning. Had to change rooms as there was a leak and the new room had a really uncomfortable bed. Ubers cannot get into the city centre, so had to carry my bags for 10min walk on a steep slope as there was no information given prior from the hotel. Not practical at all!

Excellent location in the historic centre opposite the national palace and close to some other sites and transport. Good bar and restaurant with balcony and sunset views. Excellent breakfast. Very good friendly helpful staff in bar/restaurant/breakfast area/reception. Very clean. Comfortable bed and spacious room. Our room had a balcony and view of the national palace opposite, historic centre, mountains (with Moorish castle). Close to bars & restaurants & shops.

Just a suggestion. There's a good small local brewery in Sintra. It would have been nice if some of their beers were available at the hotel bar too.

Location - staff was great - polite - accommodating- they were all excellent

Rooms are old - door of balcony did not lock - air had a smell - hallways smelled - carpet in hallway looks dirty - mold on tiles in bathroom - would not stay here again unless it’s updated

The location was very convenient and the breakfast was great! The view from the restaurant was beautiful.

I wish the AC was stronger, and our room was a bit more soundproof. For being the most expensive hotel we stayed at, I expected it to be the nicest, but it wasn't. Also, the twin beds they pushed together kept rolling around.
