A conference was held at the same time as our stay which disrupted our holiday feel.

Same every day - could have been more variation of everything

We come here every year, and really like the hotel! Amazing location! However this year we were very disappointed that we asked to cancel the additional 2nd room we booked in advance for family members who couldn't make it (we know it was not cancelable, but the 2 or 3rd night could have been adjusted and rented out to someone else, which it might even have been - since we didn't get a response from the hotel and booking about the room we wanted to cancel, so we could have used it, or just told someone to get it for free, but we only got a response for the unused room a long time AFTER we had been there). Since we are returning customers who have stayed in family rooms for 10 days some years, you would have expected that one small additional room for 3 nights could have been arranged to be canceled even if the first nights fee would have been charged for example).

The service and response time for the cancelation (we know it wasn't cancelable, but the later nights could have been rented out to someone else... at least it would have been worth a try. Maybe it was even rented out without our knowledge since we got the response so late after the stay?)

O hotel é fabuloso, mesmo em frente à praia e à Marina de Vilamoura. O serviço é excelente, com muita atenção aos detalhes. O pequeno-almoço é bastante variado. Quartos limpos e confortáveis, com excelentes vistas para a praia ou para a marina.

Gostei de tudo, mas talvez seja importante referir uma sugestão de melhoria: ter alguns lugares de estacionamento no parque para carregamento de carros elétricos exclusivos para clientes do hotel.

The position is second to none in the harbour.

Our sea view room was that, if you looked at 90’ ahead, if you looked slightly down we had a building site and a power room! Not what you would expect for €400+ a night! The staff were at best average, on every night bar one in The Argo they were terrible and in the Oregano restaurant they were little more than rude to my wife after we had lunch. Then take into account on the last two days around the pool it was like an 18/30 holiday scene, then value for money was extremely poor.

Reception staff and doormen are always very polite, professional and friendly, as are the housekeeping staff. Great size room and bathroom. Excellent choice at breakfast.

Service in the argo bar was poor. There were 7 of us ordering drinks at 6pm waited on by what appeared to be the head waiter - we ordered, at his suggestion, some of the house special cocktails, glass of wine, beer and a coke. We waited over 40 minutes for them to arrive (without peanuts - which were previously offered at every order) and one drink didn't materialise at all!! We even had to call the restaurant to delay our table reservation!!! We felt this was due to the fact that there was a very large conference being held at the hotel and the staff were overwhelmed with the amount of people. This is our fourth time of staying at the Tivoli at this time of year and have always chosen it for its outstanding service and pure luxury - however we shall now double check if our booking coincides with a conference being held at the same time. On other occasions at the argo bar, we felt service was below that of previous visits and resulted in long waits and feeling of being ignored.

Hotel was amazing, clean and tidy. Breakfast had a great choice of food

Excellent buffet breakfast, perfectly located on the beach. The marina with all the restaurants and shops are directly behind the hotel, affording more dining choices. Within easy walking distance to the town centre.

Very clean, great staff, great location.

Our toilet wouldn’t flush, reported it and sorted fairly quickly. Indoor pool not the best.

Breakfast was superb and the location of the hotel fantastic. A very friendly team that were happy to help with any questions.

Food at the pool restaurant was very poor. The service was also poor, we waited for 50mins for our food to arrive with no apology from the staff. I was going to say the food was not good when the waiter removed the food but they never asked just came took the food away and left! They also never came to take payment I had to go find the team!

The beach in front of the hotel puro beach is 50 euros the sun bed when it should be for free or maximun 14 euros like beaches next to it. When it was windy, the balcony sliding doors made a lot of noise during the night when we were sleeping.

It is not 5 stars, maybe once was but is now getting worn and could do with updating some areas.
