All great!

Great pools - 6 pools were within a few mins walk from our apartment. Great to go around from one to the other with the kids. All had kids pools and 2 had a small playground selection beside. Beautiful gardens, the grounds were kept immaculately. Apartment had all facilities we needed (bath, walk in shower, oven, hob, washing machine, decent dryer).

Rented a superior apartment - it had the aircon which was reason for the 'upsell' but in terms of the décor it could have done with a bit of freshening. Mattresses were very poor quality. New mattresses and a touch up would have made it top notch.

GREAT value for money accommodation. The hotel (accommodation and common area) is quite simple but VERY comfort and clean. Perfect if you want to enjoy your time by the pool, not necessarily wanting to be by the beach. Walking distance to nice places - specially bars & restaurants at night. Drinks & food were tasty and at a good cost. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is family-friendly so swim pool can get busy enough. Anyhow there are plenty options of swim pools for you to find a spot. The nearest beaches can seem quite far from the hotel - especially at the heat during summertime.

Outside spaces and pools

Not what it used to be so avoid at all costs. The property announces itself as a 4 star hotel and then you get 1 or 2 stars private apartments which have nothing to do with the announced photos. We were severely disappointed and had to change 4 times the apartment because it was just too bad. To name some of the problems : - horrible horrible decorations that have nothing to do with the announced photos - found a cockroach in one of the appartments - defect or almost broken furniture - tv’s the size of a microwaves - outdated kitchens and horrible toilet’s that stopped in the 90’s - ridiculous rating of apartments which induce you into error by thinking you’re reserving something nice when in reality a “standard apartment” corresponds to a 2 stars max. So for you to have a decent apartment you need to book a ultra superior and pray that it will be good because the private owner knows how to take care of it and has some decent taste and not just wanting a fast cash grab - unless you have a superior apartment it’s REALLY not worth the value On the positive side everybody was super nice and wanted to help and find solutions, pools are super nice and the outside spaces too. It’s a shame because I used to come to this place since I was a kid and it lost all its magic and for 2 days it was impossible to relax always changing the apartment and having the expectation on what’s gonna come next.

Very quiet to sleep and enjoy peace. The swimming pool close to the apartment, on the edge of the golf course was the best.

Too expensive for what it offers compared to the market in southern Europe. Toilets had just one small basic soap each!! I had to wash the varanda which was dirty and filled with red dust. Potential for more is there but quality is very low standard for €300/night and we stayed 2 nights. The standard is closer to €150/night, just because it has 2 rooms and a kitchen, otherwise less. Felt like a rip off.

I loved the apartment size, decorations, space, location, the swimming pool and the customer service.

Awful service given by the hotel. Room is only cleaned if you stay 3 nights or more, no extra towels provided, the pool closes 8pm and at 730pm a staff member came to close the sun umbrellas and was banging and throwing everything on the floor that even kids got scared and started crying!

Loved the pool area for our little boy plenty to keep him occupied. The location was brilliant and not far from shops, bars and places to eat.

Food and drink was slightly overpriced compared to local amenities

Electrical problems in our kitchen, couldn’t use any outlets without tripping the main breaker to the apartment. Couldn’t use the kettle, toaster, etc. we informed the staff and they didn’t do anything. Also, besides two rolls of toilet paper we had to buy/bring everything: trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, bath soap, sponge to wash dishes, paper towels, etc.

Enjoyed the pools.

The property charges additional fees to accommodate a disabled person.

This has to be the worst place I’ve ever stayed in, not cleaned to a 4* standard, terrible furniture and beds, dirty patio furniture and patio, no working parasol, only 2 cushions for sun beds, no tea towels or dish cloths. Beds and bedding stained and dirty, we’ve sleep on our towels as so bad, broken bedside lamps just on floors not on cabinets, sockets hanging out of walls, shower heads broken, shower traps blocked have not been cleaned between guests, damp and mould on interior walks, air con filters all blocked not been cleaned, I would not even give you a 2* rating, absolutely disgusted !!!!! It had not been cleaned at all, plumbing stinking, it is such a shame that the apartment was well below standard and nothing like photos as the gardens and surroundings are excellent.

Lovely place, the apartment we had was well equipped, spacious and with large terrace, close to beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. There's plenty activities, swimming pools and lovely restaurant withing the resort. The Balaia Golf Village is a 1980's at its best for those who fancy that. Overall we loved it!!

Everything was perfect. The apartment was clean and had everything you could need - AC, every possible dish and utensil for cooking in the kitchen, hair dryer, extra blankets etc. The area was so beautiful and perfect. We loved it and will definitely be coming back!

Buffet wax good. Lighting poor to accommodation.

On the days of sun 2 days gardening chopping trees lawm mowers chain saws etc going all day.

Place was clean, spacious with beautiful views and an abundance of pools and other facilities :)

I felt the staff could have been friendlier! That said there were a few of the younger staff that were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for you!
