The room views were amazing, nice staff, nice breakfast and location was good

The pool area needs a bit of refurbishment in general, the sun beds were mostly destroyed and there were not enough umbrellas for people to use, so people would argue over them

Loved our balcony view. Breakfast was very good.

The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very clean although a little dated. The pool is a good size and the restaurant manager is very friendly and helpful, nothings to much bother for him. The surrounding area around the hotel is quit hilly but Ubers are very reasonably priced so not to much of a problem. the hotel is close to all amenities but is situated in a nice area that is not noisy.

Our room was a little dated and could do with a few improvements. Around the pool area there was a drain with no cover on it which could cause an accident Also the restaurant while open was understaffed and very slow service Tea making facilities and a hair dryer in the rooms are essentials

Reception staff member who checked us in was extremely rude and abrupt, she wasn’t happy that we were checking in at 3.40pm when check in was at 4pm, gave no information regarding location, facilitates etc. however, during our stay we witnessed same staff member checking in a couple at 3pm with no issues and provided them with lots of info. Extra charges if you want to avail of the fridge and safe in the room, €2.50 per item per day, don’t think it’s right for what they are already charging, they should be included in room price like majority of hotels. Sun loungers in poor condition, all need replacing.

The hotel is really nice and the staff is super friendly. The room was big and clean, and we were very surprised to find a bottle of shampain and strawberries and a romantic decorated bed for our honeymoon stay. The breakfast is super good! Lots of choices. The view is also impressive.

We were really disappointed in the takeaway breakfast. Especially on the sandwiches, which were without butter and just one with some cheese and the other one with some ham.

The location is great to look down on the beach and stay out of the midtown madness.

The facility is old and not updated. The windows don't shut so winds make huge noise. Broken furniture is being used and it is unbelievable that this is a four-star hotel.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Boa Vista Belver Hotel! Staff were incredible, and had amazing suggestions for everything, food, drink, activity sight seeing places. We went for our 10 year anniversary and could NOT have been more thrilled with our choice of stay. Walking distance to local restaurants and beaches. Every single staff member was welcoming and friendly. Room was very spacious and comfortable 😌 We did not want to leave. A nice getaway for adults only 👌

Nothing worked. Key cards did not work. We continually required assistance to get in. No tea or coffee making facilities. Safe and fridge are additional costs if you want to use them. Mattress is old and uncomfortable. It's a 60 year old hotel, and everything is outdated. It should be rated 3 star.

I particularly liked the sea view and how close to the beach it was. The bus stops were nearby and lots of local shops, bars and restaurants.

The gym was outdated, no one used the pool which had a bad review for being slimy. There was no ATM or small shops on site. The bed was hard and woody and pillows too soft and lumpy.1

The view was outstanding .. Room 510 The room was in need of some touch up but was otherwise limited by the view which is really what you are paying for. Staff were brilliant, very helpful and pleasant..Breakfast was satisfactory... Bath room had a bath with shower and very clean

There's a couple of things that where disappointing 1. No kettle or tea and coffee in the room 2. I would not recommend dinner.. its a preset menu with 2 options on each 3 course meal selection for €50 Soup was semi cold .. wife got chicken which was a leg with some salad and potatoes... I got the fish ..worse meal and the most expensive I strongly recommend eating out .... Location was central between old town and Marine Not many people about if walking home after dark.
